    Mr. Freer was exceptionally professional and thorough with his testing in the areas of concern within our building. The testing only took about an hour. I asked a number of questions afterward in which he was able to immediately answer with full knowledge.     I really appreciated the attention Mark paid to all aspects including the quality equipment he brought. The radon results were emailed to me from the unit, via the state, which was ideal.     A employee of Airguard came to my house the following day to perform the actual mold remediation work.  They treated the affected floor joists to kill the surface mold that had cropped up.  The employee even helped move items in my basement before they began treatment so as not to ruin any of the things I had in storage.  Overall I am very satisfied with the work they performed and would definitely reach out to them again if needed.

    Sam is very friendly and professional. We needed a home inspection within 7 days of our contract agreement - he called me on a Wednesday to schedule an appointment and met with us on Friday (working around our schedule). He was already at the property by the time we had gotten there, and had completed the outside and roof inspection. He was very thorough and told us what were big concerns of his and what were things that could be fixed/monitored on our time. We then went inside - again, Sam explained every step to us, why he was taking pictures, and was very thorough with his explanations of what he saw. We took about 2(ish) hours to go through the property and I feel even better about the house, after talking with Sam. Being a first time home buyer, we could not have asked for a more professional, helpful, honest, and friendly inspector. Recommending him to everyone.

    Mold Masters
    After several attempts to get them out to the new house, they finally arrived on Thursday, August 8, to remove the molded paneling and spray for the mold.  The guys that came out to do this part of the job were absolutely wonderful.. There were very considerate that I was living there and did everything that they could to make it still livable for us.  I informed them that the garbage pick-up was on Friday, so after they completed the job on Thursday, they cleaned up the entire basement of debris and carried all of the debris out to the tree lawn for me.  I was so impressed with the way they were doing the job that I bought them pizza for lunch.  Once they were done, you would have never known that they were in the basement; except for the lack of mold and smell.  Also before they left, they said someone might be here on Friday to start working on the drywall or at least Rene would contact me to set-up dates and times.
    After that is when this entire project goes downhill, unfortunately.
    Friday, the 9th - no one showed or called
    Monday, the 12th - no one showed or called
    Tuesday, the 13th - no one showed or called
    Wednesday, the 14th - no one showed or called
    Thursday, the 15th - no one showed or called, so I called Mold Masters @ 1:14pm, no one answered and I left a message.
    Friday, the 16th - no one showed or returned my call, so again I called Mold Masters @5:36pm, no one answered and I left yet another message
    Monday, the 19th - I still had not heard a thing from Mold Masters, so that is when I called you, @ 2:33pm.  @ 3:57pm, I received a call for John Schwartz, stating thathe was the drywall guy hired by Mold Masters and that he would like to come over and measure for the drywall and that someone would be over in the morning to start the drywall project.  John came over about 30 minutes later and took measurements.  I asked him about the flooring since Mold Masters had stated that they would email me flooring options and I still had not receive them, he stated he would talk to them and have them get back to me.  He also told me that the job would be completed by Friday should only take 4 days to complete, since I really needed to get the office set-up, it was beginning to be a problem running the office out of the living room.
    Tuesday, the 20th (Day 1) - Three guys showed up to start hanging the drywall, one of them left to get more drywall but the other two could not start the work becauseno one had told them what they were doing about the ceiling (I wanted it replaced with drywall since it was warped and the new drywall would do the same if you put it on top of it.  John and I talked about this when he was measuring but he never relayed this information to the guys.)  I tried several times in the morning to get in touch with John, after about an hour or two waiting on a return call, I just told the guys to tear down the ceiling and replace it.  If Mold Masters wanted to charge me more for having them to do that, that was fine since I wanted it done right the first time.  By the time the guy left for the day around 3pm, only half of the walls in the office area where complete and one piece on the ceiling and one piece on the bathroom.
    Wednesday, the 21st (Day 2) - Again the guys arrive and began more work on hanging the drywall,  at the end of this day all of the drywall was still not hung.  Also again I asked about the flooring since I had still not hear from Mold Masters or received samples from them.  I was told that they would get them to me today.
    Thursday, the 22nd (Day 3) - Most of the drywall was completed today so they started to mud the drywall, they said it would dry over night and that would be back onFriday to sand and paint.  And that the flooring would be put in on Saturday so I would have the office completed by then and they they would be back on Monday to finish painting the hallway and bathroom.  No one still had gotten back to me about the flooring and we are now in our last hour so I drove up to Home Depot and picked out the flooring that I wanted and gave the sample of the flooring with the model number to John.  I also told them that Friday was my garbage pick-up day, they did take some of the trash to the tree lawn but did not do this until Friday, and they left 4 huge garbage bags in the other section of my basement.
    Friday, the 23rd (Day 4) - The guys arrived back and the mud that they had put on the night before was not dry so they re-skimmed some of the walls but that was all they could do with that.  John stated that he would be back on Saturday to start working on the floor.
    Saturday, the 24th - no one showed up and no one called
    Monday, the 26th (Day 5) - the guys showed up and started to work on the sanding of the walls and putting up the last of the drywall.  And today, I looked out the kitchen window, to see one of the guys laying down in the garage on a piece of drywall sleeping.
    Tuesday, the 27th (Day 6) - the guys again continued with the sanding and priming of the walls.  When they left for the day, they stated that they would be back tomorrow (Wednesday) to put in the flooring and finish sanding and priming the hallway and bathroom.
    Wednesday, the 28th - no one showed up and no one called.  Around 10am, I received a text from John asking if I had a chance to talk to Rene about the flooring.  I reply back telling him no, and that everything I call I get the answering machine or voicemail.  At around 11:30am, I received another text from John stating that he had spoken to Rene and that he need to get the exact number for materials and his labor and send that information to Rene and Rene would make sure with me that it was ok and then we could proceed, so he was sending the information to Rene and Rene should be calling me shortly.  He also said that Rene was worried because they are already over the drywall expense for the total job.  Around 3:30pm, I still had not heard anything from Rene or John so I tried calling Mold Masters and again got the voicemail, so I called John he answered and I told him that Rene still had not gotten back to me, He said that he would contact Rene and call me right back.  At around 7pm, I still had not heard back from John or Rene, so I called Mold Masters again and again the voicemail.  I called John and asked him what was going on, and he said that it was all up to Rene and that he could go get the materials and put in the flooring but he is not sure how much more its going to cost me.  I told him I didn't want him to do anything until I was able to get an exact price.  After thinking things over, I texted John back and told him that I called Rene again and got the voicemail so I do not want them putting in the floor.  Just to have his guys come over in the morning to get their stuff and clean the area.  That this project has gone on long enough.  He responded with he would let Rene know.
    Through the entire drywall process, I have been unable to use my basement at all, I can not run any laundry since there is so much dust and mess from the job, I thought they would at least keep it sort of clean down there so I could still use my basement.  Or at least throw down some tarps so that all of my stuff downstairs did not get ruined by the dust and mud.
    After this entire experience, I would like to say that if this was not part of the buying agreement of the house I would not have had them come out to do this job.  I would called them to remove the paneling and spray for mold but not the remolding part.  I will not be recommending them to anyone.  My neighbors next door are looking to have their basement done and I would not give them John or Mold Masters name.
    They eventually returned and completed the job, although completely unsatisfactorily. They "tried" to fix the drywall, but you can still tell where the seams are very easily. They added in flooring, which they charged us extra for, and didn't properly line up. Because of that, they said they would add trim to the baseboard and fix around the edges where they did a horrible job of matching the corners, and did not use any tape or corner beads.
    After they completed everything, they presented us with another bill ON TOP OF WHAT WE HAD ALREADY PAID.
    They charged us for the "trim" which was actually just 2x4s they cut down and nailed to the wall. They charged us a lot for the flooring, which was only slightly different from what we had already paid for, and they charged us a large amount for the ceiling, which wasn't even properly put up.
    He wouldn't leave until we paid him, so I finally just paid it and got rid of him. I hope I never see nor hear from him ever again.
