Beautiful job. Very attentive to detail and very neat and clean. Always cleaned up as they went. Great job and I recommend their work. This is the 3rd time we've used Aurora and they have done work for other family members as well. You won't be sorry.

Design consultation : John did the design work free of charge and the estimate was free. We obtained quotes from other companies and had to pay for a design workup. John was also so flexible with our change requests. We were given a difficult time with changes we wanted to make with the other companies. Product selection: Whether it was plumbing, fixtures, tile, wood flooring, counters -John has assembled a great team of people to help with selection of these items Construction: John does EXCELLENT work and he has assembled a WHOLE TEAM who do likewise - the painters, electricians, plumbers, tiling, Amish custom built vanities and shelving, general contracting,... Working relationship: He doesn't impose his vision on you. He makes suggestions but it's your project. After we pay off this bathroom well have him do the next one

We were very pleased with the results. From the beginning, Tim was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond to our questions. Tim speedily added us to his schedule, because we wanted the work done before the holidays. His crew was trustworthy and aimed to please. Our bathrooms look great!

John Desborough and his team are and always will be our HEROES! There are not enough words to explain what this man and his knowledgeable team did to SAVE our large remodel project, help us avoid a potential lawsuit and make it possible to serve our traditional Christmas dinner for 35 family members last year! Extremely knowledgeable, intense, focused, quality oriented, HARD WORKING perfectionists are only a few words to describe this team of dedicated professionals. As a Quality Manager for a large electronics distributor, process, accuracy and meeting job deadlines were all very important to us. Desborough Construction was called in TO SAVE a large remodel project with another builder that was severely behind and had several quality concerns. They installed a heated stone floor in our large kitchen, hallway, first floor bathroom and laundry room. We (the builder, my husband and I) were so impressed, they were also asked to tear out and retile (for 3rd time!!) our foyer and complete the master and two spare bathrooms. Along the way they helped with drywall, plumbing and a variety of other smaller problems. Our contract was signed June 2017 with another builder recommended to us, with a request to be completed 1st week in December... as we serve around 35 family members for Christmas every year. By Thanksgiving... only our foyer was tiled (parts of it twice!) and looked awful, all seven rooms involved in this remodel were covered in thick dust, barely drywalled, uneven plywood flooring... an absolute disaster! The kitchen, laundry and hallway flooring had not been started and the custom cabinets had been delivered the end of September! Without floors? We could not proceed. Our house was COMPLETELY in shambles... Imagine every unremodeled square inch of your house stacked 6-7' high with boxes, furniture, stuff all covered in thick dust... It was Thanksgiving. :*( I had seen John's Review on Angie's list and he also came recommended by Cleveland Tile. I contacted him and he immediately responded... met with our builder and was given the green light. LONG DAYS, WEEKENDS, intensity, professionalism, focus like I have not seen in years began. He would not compromise with our builder on quality. All processes were to HIS standards. This team of four dug in... kept us informed every step, met every timeline and allowing us within 2 weeks to have cabinets installed in three areas. Then they tore out and retiled the foyer and 1st floor bath for the third time Dec 22nd, finishing Christmas Eve, fixing our builders mess. The family pitched in and Christmas was saved! After the holidays, they began work on the master and spare bathroom floors and showers. They are beautiful! Desborough Construction saved our project, Christmas and probably a lawsuit!! THANK YOU JOHN, NICK, PAUL AND ROB!

Everything went smoothly. The installers were polite and professional. The quality of the flooring is exactly what we were hoping for. The owner even came out to give us the initial consult. She was great to work with. I highly recommend Carpet One Mentor for your flooring project!

    Floor Coverings International of Mentor
The job surpassed my expectations. The design associate was very knowledgeable. He showed up on time for two appointments to select the flooring and followed through with the job from start to finish. The installers were very professional, making sure that there was no damage to any part of the house while the work was being completed. The installers cleaned up when the job was finished and took away all of the debris and old carpet. The design associate made a follow-up visit to make sure everything was completed to our satisfaction and to check the job personally. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to my friends.

    Cleveland Floor Coverings International
Our experience with Keith Nootbaar from Floor Coverings International was excellent. There was no high pressure sales pitch at all. In fact our refrigerator had broke 2 days before our scheduled appointment and we were planning on delaying the floor. We hadn't said anything yet because we decided to see what he had to offer. After he had took all the measurements and found out what we were interested in, he brought in some samples. He was very good on knowing what we were looking for without us even realizing it. I was very surprised to see he only brought in 3 samples. But bingo the 3rd sample he showed us was it. Then we told him we were going to have to put it off because of our circumstances. He totally understood. We were still interested in the price for a later down the road project. He showed us the estimate and we were very surprised with the price. We did go with the floor and even decided to add in the half bath. The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. We are very happy with the whole process and would not hesitate to call on them again for future flooring or carpet.

    Everstone Floors Inc
Our experience with EverStone Floors was exceptional, beginning with the first contact. I sent an email via Angie's List to EverStone Floors about 2 weeks ago with pictures of my floor (included below). Within one hour, Rick responded and said he'd seen much worse and his product would work well. I called him back the next day and we worked out a time for him to come out for an estimate. Rick came out as requested the next day. He measured the area, showed me samples of the product, and we discussed the job. I already had an idea of the cost, so when Rick gave me the estimate, I wasn't surprised or concerned. We agreed on a date, which was only about 10 days out and he instructed me on what I'd need to do to prepare. On the first day of installation, Tony and Anthony arrived on schedule, explained the work and answered any questions. The guys spent some time grinding down the minor mountain range of cracks, to the point that the floor actually looked usable when they were done. I should have taken pictures because even at that point it didn't look like the same, ugly floor. The guys spent the remainder of the day laying down the EverStone product and were done mid-late afternoon. Tony explained that he'd be back the next morning to apply a topcoat of the epoxy to make it smooth. He arrived on schedule the next morning, despite some ugly weather and he was done in just over an hour. We chatted for a bit, he answered some more questions about wear and care, and left. The end result is amazing, really. For the last 20 years we've had carpet over the ugly floor that we knew would always be temporary. I've wanted a floor like this for a long time and was fairly sure an epoxy floor was the only economical way to have a "flat", attractive floor. The guys did explain that they couldn't completely level the floor due to the high variance, but I knew that already. Honestly, if I didn't know where the peaks and valleys of the concrete were, I wouldn't know. Tony did a great job doing what he could to level things out. The floor looks great and I feel like I've gained a huge piece of my living space back. While the area had to be off-limits for 3 days, the actual work was 95% done on the first day, with a short, 1-hour visit on day two. Day 3 is just to let the top coat dry. I'm not sure why this tool rotates the pictures, but they're included.. Before and after. Thanks guys!

This work was done 2 years ago and this review never saved correctly for some reason, but because the guys did good work and it still looks great, I figured I'd try to get this saved. I had half of my basement done with Everstone's composite product to cover some unsightly concrete that was also very uneven (a variance of up to 2" overall). The guys sanded down the ugly, gaping cracks I had and I remember being amazed at how well the concrete looked even at that point. The entire process took about 3 days, mostly to let things settle in between. The final day was just for a finishing coat and only took an hour or so. After 2 years, this floor still looks amazing and I've had no issues with the work or product. I haven't needed any more done since, but I'd certainly call Everstone back for another job. The guys were very upfront about the process, job, and answered every question I had. I knew the general cost before I even saw their estimate, and was happy it just about where I had guessed.
