    Willoughby Fence
Nick is great!! He always responded to my emails/text messages and went above and beyond simply installing my new fence (which I LOVE)! A tree had to be cut down due to the fact it was right in the way of the fence, so they were nice enough to cut that down AND then cut it up more so I could use it in my fire pit. That was a big help. My pups and I have been spending time outside enjoying our privacy every day. Thanks Nick!!!

    Austin Fence Company
The fence was installed in 2003 and, over the years, 4 of the posts had pushed upward, leaving huge gaps (12-18 inches) under the fence and making the fence uneven. I even saw a small fawn go under the fence through one of the gaps! Sean Henry, the owner & his crew fixed reset the posts and, though it turned from 4 to 8 posts needing resetting (to get everything aligned right) and cost a little more, it was worth it. The fence looks good and I don't have to worry about my dogs getting out of my yard.

    On the Fence Inc
The service provided from start to finish was stellar. My estimate was provided almost immediately, the price was right and the installation was completed when promised. The fence looks fantastic, and I will be recommending On the Fence to any of my family members and friends who mention needing this type of service. I wish all companies were as courteous, caring and competent.

    SKODA CONSTRUCTION INC
I had an awful time in the beginning dealing with the OTHER "storm chaser" restoration companies that swarmed me after the storm. I even went through a DIFFERENT contractors substandard work and fired them. Thankfully I found Skoda construction, called them, they came immediately out, assessed my disaster and were willing to work with me and the insurance company to get my home put back together. The insurance process is confusing and lengthy on a project with so many restoration needs and Chris Skoda has been excellent to work with. Chris, with the help of his  Project Manager Tony, has a team of many different speciality crews that I can not say enough good things about. Much of the work is done by Amish crews that are true craftsmen with skills and workmanship above and beyond belief. Every team he has sent here has been high quality craftsmen that are experts in their field. I am not exaggerating one bit on that one........EVERY TIME they come out and tackle the next piece of this project I am amazed at how perfectly perfect everything is. I am not a push over either.....my deceased father was a skilled union finisher carpenter that had me help him on many of his winter side jobs. I grew up knowing the difference between good work and crap.  My back room roof has the framing rebuilt better and stronger than it ever was. The garage that is almost complete is amazing..... bigger, better, stronger. The materials they used from the concrete foundation  up have been ALWAYS better than anything I have ever seen before. Unbelievable foundation and extra good slab.... 2X10X20ft. rafters and general framing to perfection, R38 insulation ceiling, R19 walls, 5/8" fire rated drywall everywhere.... then plastered !!!!! The electrician's work was perfection......Even our building inspector has commented on the unbelievable workmanship this garage has.......We aren't done yet... still have plenty more to complete, but I couldn't imagine anything but more of what I have already got...... Skoda Construction is a rare find in this day and times....Honesty, quality, and integrity with a highly skilled batch of craftsman that do beautiful work...... I know I am lucky to have them taking care of me. I'll post how it all works out when it's complete...... but OMG.... so far sooooo good :)

    Lowe's Home Improvement
I have continually been satisfied with Lowe's and I believe they have improved their services over the years.  Using them for large projects such as my recent fence installation was a good choice for me.They kept in contact regularly by phone and completed the job when promised/as promised.

    Pinzone Landscape Design
Nick Pinzone of Pinzone Landscape Design installed patio pavers to extend a cement slab patio and a white vinyl fence around the patio in late April 2013. I was not happy about several things during the installation.
    1. Since he did not have the credentials to obtain a building permit through my city, he asked me to obtain the permit. I paid for and applied for the permit only to find out that the city would not issue it to me if I wasnt doing the work myself. Pinzone ended up having another company get the permit for him. He did not offer to reimburse my cost for the application. Im not crying over $10, and I probably wouldnt have said anything if it wasnt for all the other problems, but it was poor business practice.
    2. I had asked more than once that he be absolutely sure that the fencing he installed was exactly the same as what others had installed in my condo community in order to adhere to HOA restrictions. After the fence was already installed, it was brought to my attention that it was different than others in the neighborhood.
    3. The configuration of the fence was not what I originally planned and requested. I was not aware that it would be changed until after material was already delivered. Holes had already been dug out according to original plan so new ones had to be dug out.
    4. There were days when he didnt show up when he said he would and there was no communication. The job was not completed when promised.
    5. I was not happy with the application of the sand/fill material between pavers. He argued with me and it took several minutes to convince him to improve on the application and fill in the space between pavers better.
    6. When the job was done, nothing was square. I realize it could be the pre-existing patio that wasnt square to the house, but the fence corners arent even square and the pavers arent square with the fence. Better planning would have given a better result.
    7. It took several days for him to come back and re-seed the area around my patio and my neighbors patio where the turf was destroyed during the installation.
    8. I would have chalked all of that up to a bad experience, lesson learned, and just never used him again if it wasn't for this last part. I now think I should warn others. About 11 months later, I tried contacting him due to two gate posts having heaved up out of the ground, one of them by 2 and frac12; inches, which made it impossible to latch the gate and skewed some of the pavers. Two of my neighbors, one directly behind me and another kiddy-corner to me, both on corner lots, installed fences at the same time and I didnt see any issues with any of their many posts heaving over the winter. I was concerned that there was a problem with the installation of my two posts, especially since there had been extra holes dug near them which were filled with concrete. I left voicemail messages and sent emails for Pinzone for about 4 weeks. He didnt call me back until after I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. He scheduled a time to come and take a look, but didnt show up and didnt call. I called him again, scheduled another time for him to look at it. This time he came and said hed be back to fix it before or during my vacation (within the following 2 weeks). He never showed up or called. The next time I heard from him was via text about a month later, when he said he was having phone issues and couldnt make or receive calls and that he wasnt responsible for posts heaving over the winter and it wasnt covered under his warranty. There was no offer to even fix the posts for a fee, or any attempt to work out the problem, perhaps with a contingency based on what was found when the posts were dug up, or any other compromise. Nothing. I havent seen or heard from him since (over 2 months ago), despite my attempts to communicate.
Pinzone may try to rebut this review, but honestly, the only issue that is subjective is the paver joint filler. Everything else is a fact. And, Ive NEVER filed a complaint via BBB or Angies List before, so its not like Im a hard to please jerk that complains all the time. Just an average consumer expecting a good job in exchange for my hard earned money, and $3453 was a lot of money to me.

    Shannon Fence Co
I would rate them the lowest grade. They have poor workmanship. They had to come out thrice to do the work. They did repair what their workmen did badly so they followed up well. The original work was bad.

    Henry Fence
Every aspect of this job went great!
Mr & Mrs Henry walked around with my husband, in the mud, to measure and talk about where we wanted the fence.  They gave us pertinent suggestions.
We had done our homework and wanted 14 gauge welded wire with 2" x 4" openings and two gates.  Other companies either didn't even quote us for this type of fence -or- they tried to talk us out of it.  We wanted this kind of fence because it blends into the environment -- you look out over our wooded yard and you just don't see the fence!  They asked questions about our dogs: what size they were, were they jumpers, climbers, or diggers, etc. and then said, "No problem."
The installer came on time and was top notch!  He did everything we needed and wanted.
We've had it 6 months now and couldn't be happier.

    Pet Stop
Had to leave two messages and then a week later called and got a person who knew nothing of my earlier messages.  Service call is $90 plus materials.  But on the other hand, when they fix the issue, it will be fixed right.  Fence really trained my dog and its great not to have him on a leash in the yard anymore.  Overall, I'm glad I had the fence installed.  I guess I should have reported that there was line that was not buried right away.

Northeast Ohio Fence & Deck, Inc
They were very responsive. They got out when they said they would do the quote. They started and finished the job when they said they would. The quality was excellent. They didn't make a big mess. It was just a very professionally done job.
