    Desborough Construction Inc
Design consultation : John did the design work free of charge and the estimate was free. We obtained quotes from other companies and had to pay for a design workup. John was also so flexible with our change requests. We were given a difficult time with changes we wanted to make with the other companies. Product selection: Whether it was plumbing, fixtures, tile, wood flooring, counters -John has assembled a great team of people to help with selection of these items Construction: John does EXCELLENT work and he has assembled a WHOLE TEAM who do likewise - the painters, electricians, plumbers, tiling, Amish custom built vanities and shelving, general contracting,... Working relationship: He doesn't impose his vision on you. He makes suggestions but it's your project. After we pay off this bathroom well have him do the next one

We were very pleased with the results. From the beginning, Tim was easy to get in touch with and quick to respond to our questions. Tim speedily added us to his schedule, because we wanted the work done before the holidays. His crew was trustworthy and aimed to please. Our bathrooms look great!

Keselman Construction is at the top of the list. They are polite, courteous, honest, reliable and timely. The quality of their work is outstanding and they do not stretch out their jobs. I trust them in my home because of their integrity. I would highly recommend Keselman for any work in the construction trades.

Ron Ipavec who was the sales representative was great. He was patient and attentive to me while still giving me good decision making ideas. He was a real pleasure to work with. The job at hand did have a few issues but were taken care of and fixed to my satisfaction. I would use them again and I will refer them.

    Great Lakes Granite Works
From start to finish, everything was absolutely handled expertly. Everyone I worked with was courteous, honest, careful, informative, friendly and professional. The installers fixed something the previous company I hired to install a vanity top had not done correctly, and even leveled my electric range! They left everything clean when they left.

    Guru Granite
They were very pleasant to work with at first. I thought the vanity installation was o.k (not the best, but I was satisfied). The plumbing underneath the sink was leaking and I called them about it. He came 2 days later and tightened it. The gasket still looked crooked , but at the time it was not leaking, so he left. A couple of hours later it was leaking again, so I called him again. H e came out again, but not right away and I asked him to redo the whole pipe connection underneath, not just tighten things and he did. It did not leak at the time he left, but started again very soon after. I called and said that I wanted to call my plumber and wanted a refund of the plumbing cost and he said he would, and it would be just like I had a plumber do the faucet instead of Guru. My plumber came and found that there was NO sealing putty under the drain ring inside the sink! I called and told them about it and they said they would give me 50% of the plumbing cost (which was $100). I said they should give me $97.50 because that is what my plumber charged and that Guru did not do the job right. They told me at the beginning that they do plumbing. Also they charge 10% extra if you use a credit card which they told me at the beginning. They said to pick up the $50 refund check at their place. I used my credit card, so I don't know why they couldn't credit my Discover Card like every other business does. All in all, they lost my business, which would be my kitchen counter tops.

    Absolute Kitchens and Baths
Danny Siders of Absolute Kitchens and Baths recently updated our kitchen and our master bath. In the kitchen he installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, Nova laminate flooring, a tiled backsplash behind the stove, a new Blanco sink, a new Delta faucet, and new drawer pulls. In the bathroom, he raised the cabinets to a better height, installed new Wilsonart High Definition laminate countertops, new sinks, and tiled the floor and the surround of the garden tub. Under the tile floor, he installed a radiant heater. Several years ago, he redid our shower. He was able to find the same tiles he used in that job so that the bathroom tiles all match. This was a large job and we are very happy with how it looks and of our experience with Danny. Over the last 5 years, Danny has renovated 2 other baths and the sink in the laundry room. We have always been extremely happy with the work he has done. The things I appreciate when working with Danny are the ideas he adds to the projects, the craftsmanship he puts into the project, his finishing touches, and his helpfulness. Danny showed up for the initial consult with books of materials and ideas. He listened to what we wanted and then pulled on his experience to help us decide on the best materials for the job. He was aware of new materials and new techniques. We told him our goals and he helped us choose the best materials for the project. He did not push his ideas but helped us clarify ours. Once the project started, he arrived daily at the same time or told us ahead if he would not be there. He cleaned up at the end of the day and caused minimal interruptions to life outside the work area. He is meticulous in his prep work for the project as well as the actual installation. Seams match, edges of tiles are bullnosed where needed, and colors and stains match what was already in the house. One of the most impressive finishing touches was the kick plates under the cabinets and the edgings of the new floor. He used wood edgings that he stained to match the counters and the existing edges of the floor. It gives the new floor a seamless look with the rest of the house. I appreciate Dannys reliability, craftsmanship, and his attention to finishing details. Danny was also helpful and persistent when we increased the scope of the project and added some additional flooring. The Nova flooring has become increasingly difficult to obtain and when we wanted the small bathroom also refloored, he needed to order more. It was a challenge finding a source for the flooring and then the first shipment came in wrong. Danny worked through all the hassles necessary to get the floor we wanted. He also fixed sticky drawers and a poorly designed waste basket drawer. Not only does our kitchen look wonderful, but the drawers finally all work as they should. At the very end, two of the flooring boards in the small bathroom slipped. Danny readily came back to fix them for no charge. Thank you, Danny, for your perseverance in getting materials and fixing problems along the way. I also appreciate that Danny will call me back and accepts my decisions without recourse to my husband. I have dealt with other contractors who always wanted my husband to concur or only called back when my husband called. Needless to say, I only worked with them one time. Danny Siders has done beautiful work on our renovations. We are very happy with the outcome and with the ease of working with Danny. I strongly recommend Danny Siders of Absolute Kitchens and Baths for your remodeling job.

We did have a rough start because they were running behind with previous jobs. There was some confusion about what I chose for the cabinets but once that got straightened out we were fine. There was a holiday in there so it also took a little longer than we anticipated but it eventually got done. We are satisfied with the outcome. It looks beautiful.

    Chippewa Stone
We could not be happier with the new countertops. Everyone we dealt with was very courteous and professional. Colin did a great job helping us navigate through the whole process and keeping the project under budget. The installers (Donnie and Leo) were very skilled and detailed. We appreciate not only their work on the new granite, but also the care they took not to damage anything in the house. This is one of the few remodeling projects that turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We would not hesitate to recommend Chippewa Stone to anyone looking for new countertops.
