Plumber reviews in Williamsburg

I called in the morning and explained my problem. Aaron said he could show up to take a look within a couple of hours. He showed up barely two hours later, as promised, inspected the situation and gave me a verbal estimate and said he could be back to fix it after lunch. I agreed and he left. Sure enough around 12:30 he came back with his equipment and assistant and they fixed my problems by 2:00pm. I was working when they finished but he called to let me know they were done and sent me pictures of the work before covering the pipe back with dirt. I am very pleased with the professionalism (which is a rare thing nowadays) and the punctuality. The work quality looks good but time will tell. Overall I am very happy with the experience and would certainly recommend this business. I plan to begin using them to perform maintenance in the future.

I hired them thru American home shield to unclog my tub. Not only they couldn't fix it but messed up my toilet. Now is not flushing. We tried several time contacting them to try to fix what they broke they didn't returned our calls. Simply horrible and dishonest

In order to do some remodeling of my old farmhouse, it was necessary to replace my antiquated septic tank.  Our county has some arcane rules and a VERY rigid septic inspector.  The inspector is so difficult that many excavators no longer will do this kind of work in our county.

I contacted the Jon Nave Excavating Company and they agreed to give me an estimate.  Mrs. Nave was there the next morning and fulfilled this promise.  We were met with some setbacks due to extremely wet weather but Mrs. Nave stayed in touch so that I never worried about getting the job done.  From time to time they would pop in and check the ground to see if they could begin the job.

On August 12 Mrs. nave called and said they were coming.  She had timed the  arrangements for all subcontractors to arrive and make the job flow.

The Naves are a husband and wife team.  They are a team that would make a professional sports team green with envy.  They work together like an analog clock mechanism.  It was a joy to watch them work.  They were so cautious that Mr. Nave stopped for the rescue of a displaced frog.  They were so precise that they were able to save a volunteer pumpkin that was within inches of the work site.

They worked diligently all day and my drainage was only compromised for a few minutes while they connected to the new system.

The next morning they were here early for the dreaded inspector to approve the job.  They knew every code, rule, and bylaw better than they inspector. The job was approved in short order.

They carefully back filled the  area, cleaned up and restored all surfaced.  They brought the job in for less than the estimate.

I highly recommend this wonderful team.  If you need accuracy and professionalism, call Jon Nave excavating at 1-937-927-5219 or 1-937-763-5223.  They are  located at Jon Nave Excavating, 2795 S. Sanders Rd., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.

I used Tarvin awhile ago to clean my kitchen drain. I talked to the plumber then about my pressure regulator. I called on Mon. with an Angies list deal. They called me back on Wed. and asked if I was available around 10:00. Joe arrived right on time and we talked about what was wanted and needed. He went right to work. Very friendly. Very professional and very polite. Replaced pressure regulator and installed expansion tank and replaced relief valve on water heater. Joe cleaned up the mismash of pipes and valves and made some order out of it. I have used Tarvin twice now and both times have been exceptional. I will always use then again and let others know also.

The installation went fine. He returned the next day to fix a leak under the sink.

However, a few days later, the sink was backing up and not draining. When I called him he said it was probably from the buildup in my pipes from before. It would cost $250. for him to come out and snake the line. I decided that was too much and was able to get it done for much less. The initial installation of the sink was great.

Our water heater needed a new thermostat (it was shutting itself off when it got too hot). We called them with the problem, they had the part we needed on the truck, and they came out and fixed it right away. The water heater was still under warranty, so they only charged us for parts.
We were very happy with the results. The water heater is working again like new.

Gumbert was able to get the parts he needed to show up and do the work. He worked about 3 or 4 hours. He did the work the day he was here in a timely fashion. He came out to look at the job before he came back. I thought he did a good job. I thought his pricing was in the ball park with everyone else. I had no problems. Anytime the plumbing doesn't leak, that's a plus for me. He was here when he said he would be. He cleaned up, and put down drop cloths, and I liked that. I was happy and would use E.R. Gumbert again.

We have a 52 year old house and the tiles were becoming loose in the bathroom around the tub. we were concerned there may be a leak behind them, in the wall and doing damage.
Gene arrived promptly to give us the estimate one week and I believe was able to start the job the following week.
Turns out there were a few leaks back there. Gene took out the tiles needed as well as the old tub and shower valve and installed a new tub & shower valve and wallboard. He did a geat job saving the majority of our old existing tiles...being very careful when removing them and in the tedious job of cleaning them up to re-install! The 52 year old tiles would be pretty much impossible to match up with replacement tiles, so he chose a few complimentary colors and placed them in a random-like pattern which looks really great!!! In fact, it looks way better than I imagined it would! We are very pleased with all the work performed -- Both Gene and Debbie (who we were in contact with pretty often from the office) are terrific to deal with....both very professional, prompt, courteous and friendly.
really hoping we don't need plumbing services anytime soon again...but if/when we do, this is who we will be calling on!!
