  • It was amazing. His office is quiet and convenient. They are very understanding. They assist patients that have dental anxiety issues. He is definitely a perfectionist about his work so you can assure than any dental work that you get done there he is going to make sure that it's the best that you could possibly get.

  • It went great!  Lyndsey knows exactly when and how to push and encourage me to make sure I get the maximum benefit.  She knows my weak spots and, again, customizes my workouts accordingly.  I've been training with her for 2 months.  I lost 12 lbs., 2% body fat, and 3 inches in my waist during the first month.  I've dropped 2 jeans sizes during the 2 months I've been training there.  All of the trainers are very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable.  I never thought I would enjoy working out but I do.  They also offer a boot camp every week that is top notch.  I recommend it to everyone I know.  They truly live up to their logo, 'Real Trainers, Real Results'.

  • The Clermont YMCA is very close to my home. I chose it primarily for the convenience of a close location. I don't have a lot of experience with the YMCA, but I was surprised it was so expensive and that the facility itself was so small and run down.
    It cost $83 per month for a couple to join (no kids) and $53 additional sign up fee. Since I joined during the winter, the outdoor pool was closed. So, I haven't used it. The indoor pool is small and was crowded with small kids playing with balls and toys when I went. Great for them. Not so great for me - because I wanted to swim without being hit by a ball. There is a lifeguard on duty all the time - which I appreciated. And, they did seem to be paying attention to the water.
    The locker rooms are fairly nice. There are lockers, changing areas with curtains for the ladies (I haven't been in the men's room) and the showering facilities have ample hot water.
    The workout equipment is in a really tiny room. But, it's pretty decent equipment. I used a treadmill on my first visit. There were elliptical machines, stationary bikes, and weight lifting equipment. There wasn't much else.
    The facility is a little run down overall. It looks dated and faded. But, it's fairly clean. There are group exercise classes, and with the exception of swimming lessons, most of it is included in your membership fee.

  • When we went in for our exams, all seemed ok, except that the receptionist was a little abrupt, and the pricing and our insurance coverage was not well-explained. We ended up paying much more than expected, based upon what we thought the insurance covered. But we got our glasses, and we were all pretty happy with them.
    Then my husband had an accident, which broke the earpiece on his frame. When he went back, he was told that he had to buy two ear pieces, that they couldn't order just one, and charged him as much as two complete sets of frames cost the first time, paid up front. After 10 days, he still hadn't received a call, so he called. The receptionist was quite rude; she told him, "If they had come in, we would have called!"
    This was our first visit, and there are other doctors in the area. Guess we'll try someone else next time.

  • I used to go to him but then they didn’t accept my insurance anymore.  So I stopped going to him.  He just tops the whole world.  He’s funny and he’s thorough.  He’s very good.

  • Two years ago, I was traveling in Tanzania and I developed a sever pain in my left side. It did not seem like a muscle strain and I was very concerned because we were headed out into Serangetti National Park far beyond the reach of medical care. I had sent him an email about the issue the night before explaining the symptoms and did not hear back. I called him in the middle of the day using a rather bad SKYPE connection. It took 3 calls because of dropped connections but he got on the line and after a series of questions gave me enough assurance that my problem was most likely not a serious health threat. I decided to continue the trip and live with the pain. We never did determine what caused it, even after I returned but it eventually went away. When I needed him, he was available.

    Last year, he instituted an annual "practice fee", as many family practice doctors are doing these days. It is not covered by insurance. His fee is much lower than most and his fee for 2 people in the same family is less than double the price of one. Before doing this, he sent a letter explaining the reason for doing it and how his patients would benefit from being able to hire additional staff. I am sure he lost some patients as a result but I thought the fee was well explained and I agreed with it. 

    The only wish I have is that he would respond to patient emails, even if he billed for this service. I would like to be able to ask brief questions by email between visits, particularly if I forgot to ask the question during the visit. Terry has occasionally answered my email inquiries but often he does not. Perhaps physicians get general legal advice never to respond to patients in writing because they could later be sued for what they said. I suspect that is part of it.

    My wife also sees Terry as her PCP and has a positive opinion of him. There is less wrong with her so she mainly sees him for routine physical exams.

  • Terry has an off-beat sense of humor, and he jokes a good deal with patients, but he cares.  If you want a quiet demeanor, a doctor that just says "hmmmm" during your appointment, don't go to Terry - he might tell a half-dozen jokes or sing snatches of a Broadway show tune!  But as I said, he cares, he listens, he asks the right questions, and he gets to know you.Terry is a good doctor and a good man.

  • The interaction with him has really been very good. He has been my doctor for a long time and he treated my mother and showed great care. He is a good doctor and I appreciate the efforts he puts forth on our behalf and I recommend him to anybody. He has made himself available for us on short notice on a couple of occasions. The office environment is clean and comfortable and the parking is good. He is unique individual and he has a sense of humor that is rare for people in that profession. He is has an eccentric, but excellent bedside manner, so I would definitely give him an A. My mother in-law is from Thailand and her English communication skills are somewhat limited, but he made the effort to talk with her. When he was taking her blood pressure, he was holding her arm up and looking at her from a distance. She was just looking at him and he smiled at her and then stuck his tongue out at her. She laughed, so he was going a little beyond what a normal doctor would do in a humorous way put her at ease and everything was fine. When I call and need to get a message to him and he is busy, but the staff will get it done and call back.

  • I enjoy going to his office - even when sick - he cares about his patients and truly enjoys the work that he does. He is on time with his appointments and takes his time with you giving the care you would expect from your personal physician

  • I have been seeing him for 12 years now. He is the most caring physician I have ever encountered and he is a great doctor. During the first visit he spent two hours going through my history. He has referred me to many doctors. He treats my husband too. He is a kind of doctor whom I can call if I have got any concerns. He will talk to me over the phone about it and get me in right away.
