    WARNING! The owner proved to be very nasty, threatening and hostile in the end. Over 10% was added on to the original quote with nothing ever being mentioned about additional money prior to handing us the final bill. No add-on dollars were ever verbally or in writing approved. They damaged one wall in the process of painting which they agreed to fix. The owner continued to make excuses in getting it repaired. He finally agreed and a 3-4 hr job ended up having me to take an additional 3 days out of my schedule to accommodate them due to their rescheduling and excuses. They left all of their trash behind for us to dispose of. Overall work was not comparable to other painting contractors we have dealt with. Just a very disappointing experience solely due to the owner. All the other employees were nice. How someone so nasty can remain in business is beyond me. Even as I am typing this review, I am receiving threatening text messages and phone calls. Please consider this review if looking for a painting contractor.

    Kitchen Solutions was a no pressure sales and ability to listen to our ideas. The work was done in a timely and professional manner. We had our kitchen updated with new countertops, backsplash and new shelving. Brad and his team did a great job and I would use them again.

    The wallpaper was removed, the walls patched and then two layers of paint was applied on the walls and ceiling. VanDenk in the morning and were through by the end of the day. Our bathroom looks great. They did a wonderful job!

    Kevin was there from day one. He worked with the insurance adjuster so that I did not have to. I appreciated his tenacity. Insurance covered everything thanks to Kevin. All of the workers were professional and did quality work. Kevin was there to inspect everything. Kevin kept me informed all along the way. I would hire him again.

    1. Inspected all areas from which the water could have come before he diagnosed a drain backup.
    2. Crew pulled up carpet and tiles in flooded area to make sure water was not coming up through the floor. (I live in a bi-level home)
    3. Sucked up remaining water, cleaned and sanitized the affected areas.
    4. Set up dehumidifiers and fans to dry out the affected areas.
    5. Returned next day to remove equipment.  Inspected affected areas to be sure it was dry.  Cleaned up.
    I was very impressed with all the cleanup work they did both during and after the job.  Jerry and the crew (Travel, Sean, Dan) were professional, respectful, had good senses of humor, worked quickly and efficiently.  I had a similar flood several years ago and the cleanup crew charged me a huge amount of money and did poor quality work.   I wish I had known about J&R back then.

    This is the second time I've had Steve finish my drywall.  Once again, the quality of the work is beyond excellent and the price was very reasonable.  Steve was also able to meet our schedule and get things done much quicker than we anticipated.  He was also very flexible in regards to additional work and changes in our needs.

    From the first time Chad came out to give me an estimate he was so pleasant and professional.  I did get 2 or 3 other quoted, but found their quote to be very in line with other quotes I received.  Our job was not going to begin for several weeks after we received the quote, but Chad always kept me apprised of his schedule and was quick to respond to my questions.  Once the project began, I can't say enough about the C&C crew.  They were so professional and courteous that I didn't mind at all having them at our house for the couple of weeks they were there.  They worked extremely hard and were meticulous about their work.  And they were even great about working around a problem that arose (we discovered some unexpected problems and had to have some siding replaced, so they had to adjust their timing and work around another contractor).  They always consulted me if there was a question about anything, and were always willing to provide input when we were deciding how certain areas should be painted (main vs. trim color).  I truly could not have been more pleased with the job they did or the professionalism of their crew.  And they even showed up on weekends and a holiday to get the job done (after asking us if that was ok, of course).  This was a big investment and a lot of money, but the finished product was even more than I expected.  I can honestly say this may have been the best contractor I have ever worked with.  I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to anyone.

    Everything went very well, Dave with Deluxe painting was very punctual. Polite group to work with completed job without any problems. The full warranty that he provides on his work he stands behind it all the way. I have not had any problems, but I did have any problems I am sure that He would have resolved them without any difficulty. The work looks excellent. The ceiling lines look so straight that I was calling him laser dave by the end of the job.

    We had 3 separate areas of our kitchen ceiling, each small to medium in size, that were damaged and needed replaced. I left a message with the secretary at Home Solutions, and Mike called back the same day to discuss the problem. He came out to the house at my first available time and gave a written estimate for repairing the drywall and finishing the ceiling so that it would blend with existing surfaces. He had very good attention to detail, including cosmetic issues. His crew was available within a few days, and Mike showed good followup and urgency on getting the work done for us. When one of the damaged areas was removed, it was discovered that an electric wire wasn't enclosed, creating a possible safety hazard, and also a drain pipe extended down too far and was causing the bulging of the drywall. Mike was very straightforward and honest in explaining the issues and the pros/cons for whether to repair them. Mike had a plumber come out to evaluate; it was decided that there were no good options for replacing the pipe, and so the drywall was fitted to compensate for it. The drywaller then returned on another day to repair the holes that were made previously. Unfortunately, it was a different drywaller and there were communication issues re: what work was to be done. This resulted in only 2 of the 3 areas being repaired and the texture not matching the ceiling. When I arrived home and discovered this, I called Mike, who answered the phone personally even though it was 6:00pm. When I told him what had happened, he explained the issue of the first drywaller not being available and the second drywaller apparently not understanding what was to be done. He said he would come out to the house personally the next day with the drywaller, and they would get the problem fixed. This was exactly what happened. When I arrived home the next day, the third area had been replaced, and the entire area of all 3 repairs was finished beautifully. There was even a note from the drywaller with his phone number, saying to call him if I had any concerns. I cannot be any happier with the repair. We did have a problem in the repair process, but it was handled very efficiently, professionally, and with great attention by both Mike and his drywaller to making sure I was happy with the work. As a final praise, when I received the bill in the mail today, it included a self-addressed STAMPED envelope for my payment. I felt it reflected the consideration and attention to detail that was shown throughout the work.

    After signing a contract, we paid half upfront. We then agreed to allow him to complete another job before starting ours. Big mistake. We then had to track him down to get our job started. He hired two guys on their way to California (one was his brother) to do our painting. The work turned out ok, far from excellent. I would have been fine with the end result, had we not had the following issues. We had to go through paint splattered on our bedspread, tobacco spit cups left everywhere, a blue paint stain on our carpet (which they never bothered to tell us about), and a scratched hardwood floor in our kitchen. When they moved the refrigerator, they turned it twice without lifting it scratching the hardwood floor. Dale wrote in our contract that his company would fix all of the problems. We have been calling for 8 months now and there is always a promise to call back or an excuse why he can't show up to meet with us. We were not requesting a complete repair of the hardwood floor, just to meet us half way since his guys did do some damage to it. Dale's latest company name is Buckeye Home Improvement. I feel we have given Mr. Martin every chance to come and try to resolve our issues. Shame on me for paying him the balance we owed without bringing resolution to our problems. I feel compelled to share my experience so that others do not have to go through it.
