    J & R Contracting Co Inc
    iJerry Lagger:
    1. Inspected all areas from which the water could have come before he diagnosed a drain backup.
    2. Crew pulled up carpet and tiles in flooded area to make sure water was not coming up through the floor. (I live in a bi-level home)
    3. Sucked up remaining water, cleaned and sanitized the affected areas.
    4. Set up dehumidifiers and fans to dry out the affected areas.
    5. Returned next day to remove equipment.  Inspected affected areas to be sure it was dry.  Cleaned up.
I was very impressed with all the cleanup work they did both during and after the job.  Jerry and the crew (Travel, Sean, Dan) were professional, respectful, had good senses of humor, worked quickly and efficiently.  I had a similar flood several years ago and the cleanup crew charged me a huge amount of money and did poor quality work.   I wish I had known about J&R back then.

Harms Carpet One Floor & Home
We bought tile for our family room however the slab floor was not even, so carpeting had to be ordered. Harms Carpeting handled the return of the tile and supplies with no restocking fee, and kept in touch until the carpeting was installed. It was out of stock but finally arrived and we were put on the top of the list for installation. All in all, a good experience with Rick, John and Harms Carpeting.

Harms Carpet One Floor & Home
The only negative part of the whole experience was the initial follow-ups on getting estimates, and this was apparently due to various people going on vacation. I had to call or stop by the business 2 or 3 times before everything was set in motion. The floor salesman was very helpful in showing me various options, explaining pros/cons of each; he even helped me select the best grout color based on my kitchen colors! The estimator was professional, very clean and well-informed re: all details and phases of what the project would involve. His measurements were accurate with minimal overage. The install team was headed by Steve, and was handled expertly. The tear-out proved to be a huge project due to unexpected layers of floor/subfloor underneath the tile. Steve gave me options on how to handle this and gave me his honest opinion on what would provide the best results for the long term. The team worked amazingly quickly, and even with the complicated tear-out, they were completely finished in 3 days. Each day they cleaned up the area, did all that they could to keep the dust contained (which is truly impossible), and generally made the process as tolerable as possible. Steve even stayed late one day to wait for me to get home from work so that he could show me some details that he wanted to explain personally. I greatly appreciated his honesty, integrity, and professionalism. The overall price was moderate, not the cheapest you could find but not the most expensive, and worth every penny. A bargain company could never match the quality of the work I received.

It went great. Scott was very fair on his quotes, always tried to find the better deal from his suppliers. He came to my home and discussed every detail of the kitchen. Gave some wonderful suggestions and didn't try to push me into getting something I really didn't want. He worked in stages and did not stop until that one stage was done. He tore out my old cabinets and old three pane kitchen window. Built a new soffet and installed a new kitchen window. Put in my new cabinets, a granite counter top and oak crown molding in the whole kitchen and small hallway. He also installed a new kitchen sink, back-splash and laid a new vinyl floor, and really important was he cleaned up as he went. My kitchen is beautiful. I recommend him highly.
