Advanced Spinal Rehab & Wellness Center
HEADLINE: Denial of Service, Very Nasty Customer Service While purchasing this offer on the Angie's List website, I was given the opportunity to schedule an appointment date online. I selected Saturday, December 17th. I was then asked to provide three different ranges of times on this date, for an appointment time. These time ranges (in 2-hour blocks) were offered in order of preference. I listed my first preference as 10am-12pm, my second preference as 12pm-2pm, and my third preference as 2pm-4pm. It was thusly indicated that the service provider would schedule an appointment based upon my time preferences, and their appointment availability on the selected date; again, Saturday, December 17th. Therefore I expected that I would hear back from the service provider, via email or perhaps by phone, to inform me of our appointment time. I never heard back from them. On Thursday, December 15th, 2016: Having not yet heard back from the service provider regarding their selection for an appointment time on Saturday, December 17th, my son contacted the service provider by telephone. He reached a woman (receptionist?), and asked to confirm his appointment time for Saturday, December 17th. This woman informed my son that Advanced Spinal Rehab & Wellness Center was only open Mondays through Thursdays, and that they were closed on Saturdays... My son informed this woman that we had purchased the aforementioned service through Angie's List. He confirmed with the receptionist that the address, telephone number, and name of the doctor (Dr. Darr) matched from our Angie's List purchase information to the business he had reached. My son offered to provide an Angie's List transaction ID#. Throughout this phone call, the receptionist was nasty and rude to my son, exclaiming repeatedly, "we're NOT Angie's List!!" My son politely responded with "I understand that," and did she have no record of our purchase? The receptionist claimed that she logged into Angie's List on her end of the telephone call, but she seemed to have utterly zero knowledge of the $39 special service offer through Angie's List. She also seemed to have zero knowledge of our purchase through Angie's List. The receptionist looked through her Rolodex, looking for my name as a former client - of course I would not be in her Rolodex, as I had never utilized their services before!! This was meant for my son, as a first-time client! When my son asked what he should do, this woman told him to contact Angie's List, because our purchase was either "a glitch" or "a scam." It seemed obvious that this woman was simply not interested in resolving the confusion. She could have spent the time to track down our purchase transaction with HER business on Angie's List. She could have verified our purchase, and then attempted to re-schedule my son's appointment. Instead, she was more interested in repeating the same nastily delivered exclamations over and over again - "We're closed on Saturdays!" and "this is NOT Angie's List!" Conclusion: Clearly Advanced Spinal Rehab & Wellness Center is simply not interested in your business. They make a service offer online through Angie's List, but then aren't willing to follow-through with their offer.

As is standard with Chiropractors, you need to make two appointments.  The first is for an X-ray and physical evaluation.  Then you make a second appointment for an adjustment.  I also took advantage of a 1 hr massage with an Angie's List coupon.  This was performed by Raven, who is an excellent masseur.  I am male and prefer a male masseur for the hand strength.  Raven has a very good technique with her hands to give an invigorating massage - relieving stress and tension, but avoids the muscle aches from too much manipulation.  I recommend her for both men and women.

Dr Darr is very pro-chiropractic, as you might expect.  He hopes to help his clients to work through their current pain, but hopes they continue to ultimate health and well being.  He presses this with each visit, which can come off as heavy handed marketing, however he just wants the best for his patients.  Don't take offense.  Just enjoy the improvement you will feel with a series of sessions.

I have a regular therapist, who knows me so well she can find trouble spots without me even telling her where to look! I don't know if all the therapists are as talented as she is but I have been very satisfied with the services from this company. My husband is also a member and we both said we would go without a lot of things before we would eliminate the monthly massage! I have been able to schedule my massages at a time that is convenient for me consistently. Office staff changes, but is always friendly and helpful.

I started going to him last October and saw him 2 times weekly through December. My husband also went to him for a frozen neck and back pain.  We had both been to another PT and Chiropractor and were not improving. Kurt Zillmann spends the whole hour working on your body to help you. No machines, etc. He did give us a few home exercises but his working on us helped the most. My husband can now move his  neck and the constant neck pain is gone. I would recommend him highly for any physical therapy needs. He is in the office of Dr. Barry and has his office and therapy room there. There is also a deep tissue massage lady named Lourdes in the practice who is the best I have ever gone to. She can loosen the knots in your muscles and you go out feeling terrific.

The doctors are all wonderful. Things went very well and the doctor did a great job. He's a very personable caring person. I only had contract with him twice, one was right after surgery and one was two days later. He knew exactly what was going on with my wife. He was very forthcoming with all the imformation I wanted to know.

He's been very good for me! I don't think he can take any more patients because he's so well liked. He's always available and he WILL get back to me! I've never had an instance where he didn't respond. He's always open to my suggestions and questions, too. He's even made house calls, and he's even seen my wife and children upon request. He's very friendly and he does his homework!

Michelle helped relieve some of my pain and helped with the muscle soreness and stiffness. She is very good and explains things as she was working on me. The room was very relaxing as well. Everything is clean and sanitary. I will be returning for a few times to get myself back to my normal. My wife went as well and saw Melissa. She thought she was wonderful and will return more often for this relaxing massage. Thank you both for helping us.

My two children have been attending Westlake Creative Playrooms/Westlake Montissori part time for almost a year now.  Overall, my children are well attended to and both enjoy going.
Pros: They are great with group activities and crafts for the preschooler and appear organized.  The toddler room has a lot of room for the kiddos to play and the socialization has been great for both kids.  The school is flexible if we need an extra day during the week.  They have a few extras the kids can take that are affordable.
Cons:  The preschool teacher staff has turned over a few times but the balance of the rooms don't seem to have a similar rate of turnover.  Hopefully the two new preschool teachers are more permanent, at least until my child moves to pre-k in the fall.  It's large and can seem very busy at drop off and pick-up times

It went very well. The staff coordinated all the pre-op appointments necessary. There was much information provided to

prepare for the procedure and the hospital staff were equally efficient and professional.

The goal is to have as little patient interaction as possible.  It begins with the sign in process and follows through with the doctor who spends as little as 60 seconds with you.  She does not recommend care, does not discuss progress, and the obvious goal is to keep the patient returning as many times as possible.  I tried to give it a fair chance, but after 10 visits and the very obvious lack of concern motivated by an effort to support a business concept of "keep them coming," I discontinued.  This is the Health Source business model.  Beware!
