    Masaryk, Thomas
Dr. Masaryk was very matter-of-fact with me after the surgery. He does this surgery all the time, and this manner of his calmed me. It let me know that he knows what he is doing and it reassured me. We would definitely see him again in the future if necessary and would recommend him to others.

    Likavec, Dr. Matt
Dr. Likavec takes a very serious, scary situation, that is complex and explains it in simple terms. He does it in such a way that calms your fears. He is a very kind, common sense, wonderful person. He is the kind of doctor you would want to have when faced with that situation. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

    Weiner, Dr. Mark A.
Went to see two doctors about the severe pain in my neck. I chose Dr. Weiner because he was a neurologist and I knew other friends and family who he operated on. I had no surgery pain 2 days after surgery. I needed no pains meds at all. The stiff collar was causing pain so he got me in immediately and he changed it.  Now I am back to no pain.  I was baking cookies 3 days after surgery.

    Thomas Masaryk MD
He?s a very skilled interventional radiologist. He is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain things. He even gave me his personal cell number so I could call him if I ever had any questions. He also investigated other options for the condition that I had.

    University Hosp Case Med Ctr
It is their lake road satellite hospice. It is easy to fix appointments. The doctors are professional and answer my questions. I have been going there since 8 years.

    Neuro Spine Care
The epidural was ineffective due to the nature and location of my herniated disc. The surgery was spot on perfect - "a walk in the park" to quote Dr. Hazen. I am still going to NSI for physical therapy and would recommend them for that as well.

I would strongly recommend him. He has great bedside manner. He has great followup skills. He is overall an excellent surgeon. His nurse was very friendly.

    Tabet, Dr. Jean-Claude
I heard about him through a friend of min and i also checked with a Dr. down the street from us who referred him. Also my Dentist and both spoke highly of him. He is very good. It was a very tough operating but he knew what he was doing and I am glad I went to him

Absolutely amazing, considering the possible outcomes. He performed a craniotomy on my left temporal lobe and extracted the ruptured aneurysm. He didn't even shave my whole head either, just what he needed to. I awoke as one would from a stroke, being I had just had one 3 days before. I was in the Neuro ICU for 3 days, then the Neuro floor for 4 days, then the rehabilitation unit for 3 weeks. I was given speech, occupational, and physical therapy. They walked me through everything and genuinely cared about me. I ate and ate and ate, and with the food came energy to learn everything again. And every nurse, assistant, and doctor was more then willing to help me. I was a scared 22 year old neuro patient with no parents. I have learned to walk, talk, eat, and for the most part, think again. I have no right peripheral vision and very limited left peripheral vision. The aneurysm's location caused permanent damage to my optic nerves and can't be repaired. My short term memory has also been permanently affected. And headaches. The only real problem now is that the steroids given to me has caused Avascular Necrosis in my shoulders and hips. Heavy steroid use is the most common reason for the disease. It's the deterioration of your joints. It's the thorns on the rose, so to speak. I have to have both shoulders replaced and my left hip replaced. One shoulder surgery is actually next month, on November 15 2013. That all in exchange for life, I'd say it was a fair trade. I am a walking miracle, thanks to the Good Lord, University Hospital, and Dr. Bambakidis!

My experience was a good one. After seeing the doctor he called me back a few days later to see how I was doing.
