Sewer Cleaning reviews in Westerville

I can highly recommend Drain Busters. Except for only a few instances, we have hired Drain Busters for main line snaking, and have been highly satisfied each time. Each technician has been incredibly professional, timely, efficient and knowledgeable. In addition, as our sewer pipe continued to deteriorate, they advised us about the condition and provided references for pipe replacement or lining. I cannot say enough about how professional and courteous their technicians are. So thorough and they explain everything they are doing. Great company!

Company was pretty slammed -- they have a lot of business for the employees I think. However, the servicemen are very professional and work their tails off to try to get your work done. They don't complain, they work late and early, they do a really good job cleaning up after themselves (and not a fun task given what they're doing). My only feedback for the company is, I think you need to find ways to augment your staffing. I think you pay these guys well but you might burn them out, and good help like this isn't always hard to find.

I can't say enough good things about this company. It was a difficult job because the line was very clogged with large roots. Even when it seemed impossible they could clear the line, these guys didn't give up. Everyone was polite, professional and very hard working. I highly recommend!!

Called ARS Rescue Rooter at 12:00 noon on Saturday 8/13/16 after a main sewer backup in our home. We were told that a technician would be at our home between 1pm and 4pm. At 4pm we were told technician was running late and it would be after 4pm. At 5pm we were told that we were next in line and a technician would be there in an hour, as soon as they finished up the previous call. By 6pm no one was there and I called for an ETA. Answering service said they would contact technician for an ETA and let us know. We never heard from anyone. By 7:30pm we called again. This time the on-call technician called and said he knew nothing about the call and would head to our home. He arrived by 8:30, and took care of the problem. We waited almost 9 hours for service with no working restrooms. Unacceptable.

I highly commend Alex, Bob and Sean who came out to my house several times to complete these projects.  I'm the type to try to put off projects so when Alex came out to do an inspection of the sanitary sewer and then noticed that my hot water tank was making funny noises (it was 25 years old) and a corroded pipe for my bath tub plus it draining slowly and a sump pump drainage that needed new piping, none of that came as a surprise to me.  So I bit the bullet and had it done.  Thankfully Eco Plumbers has financing (18 months same as cash) that has helped ease the burden.  All the gentlemen were courteous and explained what was needed to be done.  Alex also mentioned that they do not work on commission but are paid an hourly wage which made me feel better about the jobs that needed to be done.  The office staff was also good about follow-up calls  and scheduling.

I had an urgent issue that needed immediate attention.  I called Mike McDermott since I have used him in the past and he stated that he was really busy and would check if another plumber he knows could help.  He called me back in 15mins as promised and said he would push things around and would be here 1st thing in the AM.  Mike showed up a little after 8 as agreed and within 30-40 mins resolved the issue.   He explained what he was doing, Explained what happened and showed me that the water was flowing.   This was a big relief for me I had concerns that there was a bigger problem.  I appreciate his responsiveness and his attention to the matter.

    Thank you

I do not know where to begin to express how high the level of integrity and sincere regard for the customer is that the owner, Tom Carlisle, and his business has for their customers.

We have a long history of main drain backup, and have had the line snaked many times over 15+ years in an older home. The problem had become more frequent, and the last back up resulted in two consecutive snakes of the pipe, and still there were problems. We were advised by three other service providers (all on Angie's list) that the pipe was collapsed, disintegrated and/or "bellied", and that our home would have to be excavated to replace at least a portion of the pipe. We were devastated over this potential expense.

Thankfully, my husband is always skeptical, and did some digging for alternative solutions. He discovered the trenchless and pipelining systems and thought that might be an option. This possibility led us in a different direction for a provider - sewer only experts.

We called Underground Connections among several others along this line, but UC was the only one who responded quickly. And not only returned our call quickly, but worked us into the schedule for the owner to come to our home on a Sunday morning to evaluate our pipe...free of charge.

The owner came personally and did a thorough camera inspection with a larger camera than the other providers had, and quickly began to debunk what we had been told by all the others: First; the direction we had been told that our pipe led from our house was completely wrong; Second; the amount of water laying in our pipe was completely normal; Third; our pipe was not collapsed, bottomed-out, or bellied. It did, however, have years and years of toilet paper build up on the sides of the pipe that was likely creating dams on occasion and causing the back-up. He recommended jet-cleaning of the pipe with a camera. The jet-clean was scheduled within the week and, as with the evaluation - while he worked, we were able to view the work on the screen. Once the job was completed, Tom advised that our pipe would probably last another 50 years.

Bottom-line: We went from excavation & pipe replacement estimates of $3,500 - $6,000, to a $350 jet clean.

Tom Carlisle and his business, Underground Connections, is the ultimate professional and service provider - everything you would ever want regarding honesty, integrity, knowledge, experience and professionalism - and he has built his business on these very standards. He could so very easily have concurred with the previous plumbing evaluations. How would we possibly know that we actually did NOT need an excavation - especially since the other plumbers had convinced us by their cameras and screens that we were seeing was total pipe failure?

We wholeheartedly recommend Underground Connections for sewer pipe problems, and are eternally thankful that they were on Angie's List when we had this need.

Due to some large jobs they were hard to get on the calendar. In order to fulfill the order the owner showed up himself to do the job. It was a much larger job than expected but he worked through it. Great guy, great service and will use them again next time I need service.

I had back-up and standing water. I called, and Sam was here within 15 minutes. he worked hard and efficiently until the back up was clear, then showed me the problem we have on his camera screen. we have used them before in the past, and they are highly professional, thorough and work with integrity. I highly recommend Drain Busters to everyone.

My main sewer drain line was stopped up. I called Drain Busters at 8 AM on Christmas Eve day and left a message. Jason returned the call within 2 minutes. I told him the problem and he said that they were closing early for Christmas but that he would have someone out to take care of it. Ian came out and Jason also showed up to help. In Old Westerville no situation is 'normal' and my home definitely fits in. My main line apparently has a few abnormalities to it, but after a lot of work they finally got it open. I can not thank them enough for getting this taken care of before a long holiday weekend! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Drain Busters and would not hesitate to use them again!
