    Hitch House
Outstanding service ! We drove 1000 miles to buy a camper. We needed my Jeep wired for towing and brake controller. RV dealer spent a day working on it then told us they couldn’t do it because Jeep was too complex. We were stuck ! We tried all the Jeep dealers in the area without any luck. With short notice hitch house installed a custom wiring harness for seven way plug in under two hours allowing us to head home with our camper avoiding an unexpected costly camper delivery. Everything was amazing at a very reasonable cost. I was totally impressed with their expertise and customer service. This is the only place in the region I would go for hitch work.

    Starbrite Trailer Service
Fantastic service and price from Ron and his team at Starbrite. They installed 4 electric brake assemblies and repaired and replaced several lights and circuit on my 20yr-old Exiss horse trailer. I had purchased the brakes locally and Ron did not hesitate to install them. This was a big job as all 4 original brakes were very badly rusted on. Trailer brakes like new. Great local shop I will use again

DAVE ARBOGAST BOAT & RV DEPOT
The workers at Dave Arbogast Boat & RV Depot were very accommodating and they took time to show us the unit. They gave us discount for the camper. When we found out that the roof of the camper had a leak, they put a whole new roof on it. They really took good care of us. They explained things to us and made adjustments for us. The facilities were beautiful, both inside and out.

    RCD SALES INC
RCD Sales Inc were superb. They have great knowledge. I wouldn't deal with anyone else. I drive 2 1/2 hours to have them do my servicing because they're so good. There's a couple of guys there who know their products really well. An RV is such a complicated piece of equipment, and this one is a Motor Home, it's not a towable, so it isn't just the engine and the chassis. There's times I go in there and one or the other of the guys is away, but they're not on vacation. They've gone to the manufacturers for training. They work with you and make sure you are happy.

    Skip's Service Ctr
Very well. Skip is a hands-on kind of guy, will come out on the spot and have you explain exactly what is wrong/or needs to be fixed. He often (I've used his service several times and have been happy with the work on every occasion) has time to make small, simple repairs as you wait and is very creative with his solutions to repair problems. Is great with suggestions on how to keep up with the maintenance on all the many systems, such as, water, electrical, generator, propane etc. in order to save you money in the long run. I've used his service 3 or 4 times and will continue to do so in the future.

    ALUM CREEK RV & MARINE
They have a nice place. If I was looking for an RV or something I would go there. The last time I was there I had a Groupon for a discount on the tank price. They are always nice and courteous. I usually run up on my lunch break and they are always fast enough for me to do this. I would rate them overall an A.

    MODERN AUTO TECHNOLOGY
I was on vacation in the Lake George area - and on the way in I had to hit the brakes hard when someone cut off my RV. The tow dolly that our car was on would lock up the brakes every time I stepped on it after that and we had to remove the car and drive it the remaining hour to our camp site. After calling several places to see who could repair the dolly, I was referred to Modern Auto Repair. It was about a 20 mile drive to the shop - and I shared that I didn't want to invest too much into the Dolly, as I have a trusted repair person back in Ohio, but that dolly needed to make it back the 11 hour return drive safely. Jim was confident about their fix and ability to control the price. The estimate and repair were far less than I would have expected to pay back home, let alone in a ''Tourist Trapand quot; area like Lake George NY. $400 is a very reasonable repair price for replacing my surge brake with a brand new one, rewiring the entire trailer (I noticed the lights flickering when I went down the road - and apparently some mice had chewed wires) and replacing a broken grease zerk (bearing buddy). The trailer performed flawlessly on the return trip to Ohio. Thanks for a great experience!

    RCD Sales Co.
My husband called to make an appointment for service on our Coleman popup camper. When he dropped it off he explained the problem with the refrigerator and the repair needed on the camper door. He told them that we needed it back for a planned camping trip in a weeks time. They indicated that it would only take a couple of days to make the repairs. After a couple of days we had not heard back from them so my husband called and they said it would be done the next day. The work was done the next day and we picked up the camper with enough time to pack for vacation. Overall good experience, and we will take our camper there again for any repairs.
