I cannot recommend Dr. Saribalas highly enough.  All matters for which I sought treatment have improved greatly to the point where I am generally asymptomatic.  The doctor is very knowledgeable and clearly keeps up on the latest developments in his field.

I gave him a grades "C" and "B", respectively, on communication and office administration, because it can be very difficult to reach a member of his staff on the phone without being routed to voicemail, and they can take three to five days to return calls.  I know the doctor is trying to improve on this by hiring additional staff, but as of this writing it remains a problem.

Communication with the doctor himself, however, is grade "A".  He takes time to listen closely to my concerns or complaints, and provides detailed but clear explanations of his assessment, treatment options, etc.  He has personally called me himself on a couple occasions to discuss lab results.  Overall I find him to be a very likeable person and easy to talk with.

I am EXTREMELY pleased with the treatment I have received from Dr. Saribalas.  I have been treating for various issues for 20+ years with many different doctors.  I started treating with Dr. Saribalas about seven years ago and have never had such good results.  He has been particularly effective at pinpointing exactly what meds I need for ADD.
He is very busy, and it can be hard to get through to his office staff, who are obviously stretched for time.  They've been able to squeeze me in for urgent appointments on short notice though, so I can't complain there.
I've seen other people complain about the doctor spending too little time with them, but that has not been my experience.  He always answers all my questions and covers all of my concerns.  He doesn't talk down to me but addresses me intelligently without trying to dazzle me with jargon, etc.
The doctor has also called me at home more than a few times when I've left a message with this staff about some particular problem I was having.  I don't know many doctors who do that and very much appreciate it.
The only strange thing about the doctor's practice is that his office is housed in Easton, in a rather lavishly decorated suite.  The first time I had an appointment I had to wonder if I wasn't visiting a Beverly Hill plastic surgeon (that is not compliment).  The doctor's manner, however, stands in stark contrast to his office's appearance.  He is extremely down-to-earth, easy to talk with, and very friendly.
I strongly recommend Dr. Saribalas to anyone with Sleep problems or other psychiatric issues.

He is uncaring and unwilling to work with the patient to find a solution. The second my 15 minutes are up he heads for the door and never even says goodbye but charges $75 and his office doesn't work with insurance. Please do not use this doc!

I see the doctor every 3 months just to write prescriptions. I wait anywhere from 1/2 hr. to 2hrs. for my appointment. There is never anywhere to park in their tiny lot and then I wait. When ushered into the office, I spend 15-20 mins. and get charged $300.00. Watch them, they like to pad the bill through co-pays.  I recently discovered about $120.00 overage. I believe they do the minimal  and charge to the most. They are the last ditch psychiatry, because they take all and any insurance. This is how they stay in business.

I saw Dr. Theresa Mason for over a year for depression and bi-polar symptoms. She was wonderful, always had time to listen, very helpful and kind. I would have stayed with her, but she made a career move to head up a practice in Newark. After her departure, I was told I was on my own to find a replacement doctor. I didn't go back.

I usually go in for the last 15 minutes of the session so I am familiar with the psychiatrist.  She is a tremendously good listener and she has a wonderful bedside manner.  She is very easy to talk to and I think she has good common sense beyond just like psychiatric training.  It is also a very easy environment to be in for that.
