    Have used Melanie twice, mostly for modeling photographs for my daughter. She is so warm, and makes my kids and me feel so comfortable on the shoot. She has so many ideas about what would be a great shot, and the variety that I had to choose from in the end was amazing! She can capture a softer shot in the country, or an edgy look in the city. Very versatile. I will definitely use Melanie again whenever we can!

    All in all, Bob was very easy to work with and we get compliments on the photos all the time. However, there was one issue during our process that was a pretty big problem for me, along with a minor but very awkward moment that aided my decision in not wanting to work with him again.
    Bob met us at the spot of our choice; he was on time, very nice and polite. He had lots of different ideas for poses and was very receptive of any ideas/suggestions we had. We'd never had professional photos done before so he was very understanding about that as well. The process took about 2 or 3 hours; we ended up getting exhausted and wanting to stop before he even seemed the least bit tired - you can definitely tell he loves his job and takes it very seriously.
    He contacted us within a couple weeks and provided us a web address to see the shots and pricing information. Apparently the way it works is he creates a separate web address for each client with one page for each shot, and then also uploads the pages with the pricing information on them, which probably took up about 6 or 7 of the slides. Based on the pricing information in the slides, if your order was $300 or greater, you would receive the digital copies of all the pictures in your order.
    We spoke on the phone and I let him know which shots we wanted and any modifications we wanted. I also clarified what the slides said - that because our order was going to exceed the dollar amount needed to receive the digital copies, we would be receiving the digital copies of everything we ordered? I don't know if maybe he just didn't hear me correctly but he clarified that yes that was true. We ended up ordering 16 different prints along with several different edits (teeth whitening, hair fixing, etc.) that amounted to almost $500.
    He sent me an e-mail within a few hours confirming the costs of the order we placed, and also the fact that our order qualified us for 2 digital images. TWO!? Out of 16?! I wrote him back and stated that this was very shocking to me as the amount we were spending was contingent upon receiving the digitals for every print in our order, as per the pricing information he included in our web link.
    He wrote me back after some research; come to find out, he had left a very important slide out of our original web link: this slide stated that for $300, you would get 2 digital copies; for $600, you would get 4 digital copies... and so on.
    After some e-mailing back and forth, my husband and I decided to still go ahead with our original order, even though we were not getting nearly enough for it as we had originally thought. I understand that he has to make money somehow, but I felt he could have, and should have, at least made an exception for us since it was originally his fault (leaving out parts of the pricing information) that this all happened. I wasn't expecting him to give us digital copies of all 16 as I had originally thought, but DEFINITELY more than 2, considering how much money we were spending. However, he wouldn't budge.
    Additionally, when I first called him to place the order and discuss any edits to specific photographs, he asked if there was any other modifications I wanted done, 'such as the size of my chest area'. I said no, that wasn't necessary, but he proceeded to divulge how much of a difference it can make with just a few clicks, and how pleased other customers have been when they requested he adjust their size. I felt that was a little over the line; was he trying to suggest that my breasts actually needed adjustments? This the minor issue I mentioned earlier - I think he was just trying to give examples of all the things he could do with a photo, but I don't like feeling pushed by salesmen, let alone it was a very weird thing to press on. What was initially a very friendly, professional conversation quickly became very awkward for me.
    Again, we are very pleased with the final product from Bob but I just felt that he should have partially honored the price information that he originally included on our web link. He neglected to include all of the correct slides, and thus gave us incorrect information. The fact that he refused to even compromise with us is what leads me to not want to work with him again. The awkward conversation on the phone was really just icing on the cake.

    I found an old picture of my mom, aunts and uncles. Had this picture restored and made it to a 5 x 7 and she did an awesome job. She is very reasonable, and had picture matted and framed. Very happy with this company.

    I have mixed emotions with this review. On one hand, Amy went out of her way to accommodate our schedule when my husband and I wanted to have photos taken before he began chemotherapy. I know that she did her best to accommodate my son and his family, as well as my daughter, when scheduling their sessions.  She is great fun to work with and clearly enjoys her work. 
    Amy admits that her style is ?very candid? and that she ?tries to portray the people in the images as they would be naturally (with a little posing help).?  My issue is with the number of candid, whimsical photos.  The arrangement she and I agreed upon for all three photo sessions was $200.00 and a disk of 5 photos that could be printed elsewhere and a 5x7 of each selection.  Because nobody could agree upon which selections they liked for us (my husband and I), we needed to get an additional
    5 prints?at a cost of an additional $300.00! That comes to $60.00 per pose. Pretty pricey.
    The sitting and initial 5 prints were a gift from my husband and I to my son and his family, as well as my daughter and her fiancé.  Again, the fee was $200 for each sitting.  As anticipated, everyone liked different selections in both cases.  I was prepared to pony up the additional funds. Unfortunately, the packages are in increments of 5, 10, 20 or the entire gallery.  Amy was gracious enough to permit me to combine both kid? selections, as long as I stayed in increments of 5.  Unfortunately, there was no option for choosing 15.  In the jump from 10 photos to 20, in order to get the selections everyone wanted, we had no choice but to take a few we weren?t thrilled with.  When it was all said and done, between the sitting fee, 20 selections on
    disk and 5x7 photos, tax and $12.00 shipping fee, we paid a grand total of 999.13.  That comes out to just shy of $50.00 per photo.  Again, pretty pricey. 
    Once the kids' photos were ready to review, I did express my concerns to Amy in that although the ?whimsical? shots are cute and fun, they aren?t photos that everyone will display, framed or on a wall. Examples from my daughter?s session: three of my daughter and her fiancé kissing, one of her straddling him, one of her riding him piggy back (these two shots were more than a ?little posing help? and certainly not ?as they would be naturally?), one of the backs of both of their heads, a few with a back or side view of one or the other. Many were cute and fun, but the justification for the pricing is that you can print as many of each selection as you want once you pay for them. But clearly, many of the shots taken would ONLY be chosen by those in the photo.  Remember, each of the whimsical shots just mentioned were to the tune of $50.00 per photo.  The options where you had a good view of both of them together in a decent shot were limited?but we had lots of ?cute? to choose from.
    When I expressed my additional concern that although her website indicated 25-40 images to choose from, the kids only had 26 and 22 shots to choose from.  Amy explained that although her normal sessions run 1-2 hours, these were mini sessions; therefore, less than an hour spent, plus fewer selections to choose from.  I guess I was thinking that all of the selections to choose from would be good photos and we would simply be narrowing down to our favorites, rather than choosing between so many photos, be they good or bad.  In response to my concerns of the distraction of Amy having her children with her during the one session, she explained that away by saying she rarely had to bring her children along but chose to do so on this
    occasion rather than reschedule because her sitter called off sick.
    Again, I have mixed emotions because Amy was so accommodating of my husband and me when we had our photos taken and I truly appreciated that.  However, Amy?s defensive tone and ?excuse? to each of my concerns as they related to the family sessions we gifted to each of my kids prompted me to write this review. I questioned whether once the photo sessions were complete, Amy simply moved on to the next sale. She really did not seem concerned that a repeat customer was not completely satisfied, especially factoring in the total I paid for the sessions and photos.  It may be unrealistic, but when I fork out $1,500.00, I want to walk away very happy. On the rare occasion I do express a valid concern or concerns with a business
    owner, I anticipate something other than defensiveness and excuses.  I simply do not believe Amy?s pricing is commiserate
    with the end product if one is required to ?settle upon? a few shots just to be able to get the ones you DO want. Lastly, on top of everything else, charging me in excess of the actual cost to ship the disks and 5x7?s didn?t sit well with me.  For these reasons, I would not recommend her services.

    Winberry Photography was our choice for our daughters wedding. Scott was extremely professional, on time, and made the day go easy since we didn't have to worry about getting quality photos. Within 24 hours we even had some pictures emailed to us so we could see how beautiful the day was! I am honestly surprised at how little he charges for the professional quality we get. We love that we can do whatever we want with the photos too!

    My new wife and I could not be happier with Curtis. We hired a photographer and ended up with a friend. He did an AMAZING job on our engagement photos and surpassed all expectations on our wedding day. Curtis is an honest and trustworthy individual putting his clients first. His passion for photography is evident in his work.

    A last minute request for an additional photographer was no problem. Our wedding day was stress free as Curtis worked with the caterer and DJ flawlessly. He arrived early in the morning for pictures with the bride, and left late at night (upon completion of the reception). Curtis arranged his own transportation so he was able to ride in the limo with our wedding party to different locations of our choosing. He is familiar with Columbus and provided great suggestions upon request.

    There were some details that were missed, which was probably part our fault and the companies. The music that was played was excellent and the photo booth was a real blast. The photo booth service was excellent.

    The photographer is very good about noticing lights and shadows, all the small details. They spend alto of time with you. When my baby was born they worked me into their schedule, and we had a lot to choose from.
