    I give Choice a 5 star for this claim. Brian from Perky’s appliance repair was on time and fixed the problem very quickly. Brian was very professional and pleasant to talk with. This is the first time I have used Choice Warranty for a repair. Thanks Choice for taking care of the problem without any delay.

    It had been a couple days short of 1 month since the Tech came to assess the problem with the A/C unit. It was leaking at the coil. Choice Warranty continues to argue with the A/C co. about size of equip., and costs to be passed on to me. They don't pay for the entire repair. So they continue to send emails saying they are ready to repair...they aren't and emails that say my costs are going to be $1000.00. The A/C co. says it will probably be $1500.00. More arguing about costs. When you call the Choice, they are clueless as to the status of your claim. They put you on hold and call the A/C co. When they return to the call they don't have any updated info. Their phone system is JUNK. It sounds like 2 ton cans connected by a string. I have spoken to 6 different associates and they all speak broken english, that combined with the phone system makes it almost impossible to understand what they are saying...but they are polite. When my water heater broke...leak, I found out THEY DONT COVER WATER HEATERS. It's a Home Warranty Co. and a water heater is a major component to your home. It was in the contract, so I had no leg to stand on, but come on. I had a hot water switch replaced in my washing machine. They were on the phone with the Tech for over an hour. After the repair I asked the Tech why. He told me they kept asking questions that would disqualify my claim. Since this was a simple switch, it was ultimately repaired...but they tried hard not to have to pay for the repair.

    Little worried that job would not get done b/c plumber had to get work approved before starting. Since I had not been in the home 30 days, he did not think work would be approved. It was approved to his surprise. He did a good job.
