Dave is an absolute pleasure to work with... He saved me on his expertise by telling me that I needed a Structural Engineer before he could even tell me what needed done on a house that was built in 1908. He came out to the house twice & the second time he also brought (Jeff) to ensure that their diagnosis of the basement along with the Structural Engineer report to figure out exactly what needed to be done to make the basement sound & viable for years to come.

Todd and his Team of Ex-Military guys (Jordan, Zach, Dana, Tyler and Josh) re-engineered our complete basement drainage and supported our walls. The project turned out exactly how it was designed and we have zero issues. The moisture and odors are eliminated thanks to Basement Remedy's efforts. Thank you, Scott and Heidi

They did a terrific job! They were on time, did excellent work and cleaned up after the job was completed. Very easy to work with and the owner, Mark takes great pride in making sure all of his customers are more than satisfied with the completed work.

The visit went very well. The person was very professional, walked around the house and explained what he was looking at and why, and instructed us on what to look for to watch for any issues in the future.

Our initial consultant was very patient and explained how our drainage and sump pumped worked. He determined immediately that our sump pump was the problem and was able to make arrangements for a new one to be installed that day. He also took the time to explain all of our options to help avoid a flooded basement in the future. The installer that came later in the day was also great to work with - he was able to get the sump pump installed quickly and even had a dehumidifier on his truck that he could install at the same time.

In mid-November, I noticed an outside crack in the crawl space outside wall. I contacted Ohio Basement Authority (OBA) to have it inspected. An inspection appointment was set up. Travis arrived on time for the appointment and inspected the crawl space, the basement, and the area in the garage adjacent to the crawl space. Travis asked if we had any sticking doors or windows or any cracks in the dry wall. We showed him the areas where we had these problems. He reported that the only problem related to the crawl space wall crack was in the outside wall of the crawl space and was due to settlement which they would be able to fix with pier supports to stabilize the foundation. We included the Keep Crawlspace Warm & Dry package since the insulation and the plastic sheeting for the radon system would need to be removed during the construction work. This package would result in a better appearance of the area following the work. Travis estimated the work would be about 2 to 4 days in duration. We were contacted by OBA the next day to schedule a time for the work. January 2, 2018. In mid-December, OBA called and told us they had a cancellation and could do our work earlier, but those dates didnt work for us. On January 2, Ryan, the project foreman, called before arriving to let us know they were on the way. They arrived on time and he introduced us to his team of Nate and another coworker (sorry that I dont remember his name). They rolled out plastic sheeting and taped it down so they wouldnt mess up the floors as they went in & out. The first day they removed the old wall insulation, dug out the gravel in the crawl space to work on the footers and installed the nine Push Piers. They did a good job of cleaning things up before they left for the day. Ryan kept us informed of the work progress and let us know that they would be able to complete the work on the next day. On the second day, Ryan and Nate, stabilized the foundation with the piers, replaced the gravel backfill in the crawl space, put up the SilverGlo wall insulation, Spray Foam, the Drainage Matting and the CleanSpace vapor barrier for our Radon system. They did a very good job of cleaning up after they were done and asked us several times if we were completely satisfied with their cleanup, which we were. The crawl space now looks like a NASA clean room! We are very satisfied with the work by Ryan and his team. They set a very high bar for all contractors by their exceptional work, good attitudes and friendliness.

Though we had to wait a while for their estimator to come, we found that he was willing to understand what we wanted and propose a solution specifically fitting our needs. The installers were on time, clean and fast. They knew their job and did it.

It still leaks. I've called B-Level several times and spoke w/ Amanda each time and she indicated a message would be given to John. I even sent her a picture. I've yet to receive a return call from anyone at B-Level. I would not use this company. They will take your money and perform subpar work and you'll never hear from them again. I'm headed to the BBB website now to create a report against B-Level.

We had several estimates ranging from $9k to $16K to do piers. That approach seemed excessive to solve the problem -- it was more about selling their approach than solving my problem. There was only a half inch "drop" due to resettling in the area above the crawl space, so doing piers completely around the crawl space seemed wrong. J & J came in and installed 6 I-beams, anchoring to the footer, pouring concrete around the footer, anchoring to the joists above and then sealing the crack with concrete for $2800. They were in and out in one day. Easy to work with and a very professional guys.

Shaun, Milton and Daniel were an excellent team! They did it all on time, on budget and even fixed my washer drain to empty into the right spot (something I'd been meaning to get fixed and hadn't, but they just did it to make my life easier!). They kept me in the loop the entire time as well. In short, they were awesome!
