Mudjacking reviews in Westerville

The work was fine and the men who did it were very gracious. I was a little disappointed that they weren't able to raise the sections to their original height. Also, there are several silver-dollar sized spots in light cement (much lighter than the original, darkened cement) on each section where the concrete was pumped into the bottom of the sidewalk. These spots are very obvious and a bit unsightly. I plan to power wash the sidewalk, but they will still be noticeable.

Shaun, Milton and Daniel were an excellent team! They did it all on time, on budget and even fixed my washer drain to empty into the right spot (something I'd been meaning to get fixed and hadn't, but they just did it to make my life easier!). They kept me in the loop the entire time as well. In short, they were awesome!

A1 did a great job. Everyone I came in contact with from their company was polite, explained the process and answered any questions I had. They arrived when they were scheduled and competed the job nicely.

The job took longer than expected, and they worked hard to get the job done right.
Mike McDonald was the Forman on the job and he was very thorough and careful.
The caulking between slabs is excellent and he did a great job.

From the initial visit to the house by Wes, to the final day of the project, the crew, headed by Project Manager, Justin, was efficient, prompt, neat, polite, knowledgeable. A very large endeavor that was amazingly completed - on time (4 days). The containment process included sealing off the area of the lower level not affected, as well as walling off the spiral staircase to the main floor. There was a minimum of dust, etc. which I was very thankful to see. Very impressed.
Thank you, Ron Greenbaum, and the Basement Doctor crew. I will recommend  you highly to everyone!

The workers performed most requested jobs except for "tuck pointing" on North side of house in cement block area.  Technicians advised appropriately on what to do.  Technicians used owner Ron Nichols prescribed "sika" product to fill cracks in garage floor.  Used hand grinder in some areas needing smoother finish.  Utilized polyurethane caulking gun on horizontal cracks in a couple of spots.  Diligently worked for two hours today and performed all previously agreed 11-2013 upon problem areas to our satisfaction.  Cleaned up appropriately as well.  There is only one problem with this job.  We submitted our request and had the owner, Ron Nichols, examine the job on November 6, 2013.  It took multiple calls (6 to 8) in six months to finally get this job completed.  We are deeply saddened that we could not grade higher, but we thought we were actually very patient as we understand how busy A-1 concrete is.  Our original job was $3300.  While this by comparison is a small job to them, we are still no less important.  This job carries a five-year warranty, we hope the concrete leveling job originally performed in 2012 will perform well.  We are hoping no further damage/settling evidence emerges.

The estimator was able to get to my location within a few days of my call to A-1. The estimate was reasonable. There was additional work I had questions about. A-1 did not perform the other type of work, but recommended another company for that part.
I had to wait a couple of weeks to get the work completed. The work crew showed up earlier than expected. They did a good job of leveling the sidewalk and driveway sections, and cleaned up thoroughly when they were done.
I used their Angie's List coupon to get $25 off the original price.

I love B level. 1. They came out 2 years ago to provide an estimate on repair for settling and cracking. Tom asked if we intended to stay or sell. "Stay". He then walked me around the home and pointed out areas to mitigate some of the water problems, such as installing larger than average gutters to handle more water flow (ranch home with a monsterous roof). He told me to take some pics and measurements of existing cracks and -after remediation of water- call him in a year if they got bigger. If they didn't change, tuck point them and drive on. Honesty, love it. 2. Recently decided to move and knew we had to get a solid repair done before presenting to buyers. Hired B level and they worked closely with our structural engineer, provided great service and great work installing several ram jack piers They ran in to several issues (discovered previous foundation work) that inhibited the initial plan, but they devised a work around, had our engineer bless off on it, and moved forward. They also brought out a mason for tuck pointing, Tom is just a straightforward dude, the crew guys are hardworking and polite, And Susan at the office makes you feel like you're one of her own kids. The estimated cost was accurate despite having to deal with some real headscratching issues, and the job taking several days longer than anticipated (not their fault. They were on time and worked all day, every day).

Everything went great. Professionalism on the phone setting up appointment, calling to let me know when would do the work, and best of all the work was awesome. They raised the steps 2 inches and was exactly what they said they would do and was perfectly level. They cleaned up the job site as if they were never there. I would recommend to my mother. Thanks for a great job.

We could not be more pleased. We decided to take responsibility for repairing our sidewalk so that we could save the tree that had caused the sidewalk to raise in one spot (the city would remove the tree if they did the repair through their contractor).
The work was completed on the day scheduled and you can't tell that a repair has been done except that the problem has been corrected. No waiting for concrete to dry/cure -- no different color sidewalk panels -- no grass killed around the repair -- no mess! We simply do not understand why the city does not use them for this non-destructive type of repair.
