    Green and Clean Home Services
David is such an amazing worker! First off by getting a call from the company literally less than a minute from entering information on Angies list. He gave us all the information needed for our chimney sweep since this was our first time getting it done. He also helped us while he was here giving feedback and tips on how to have a safe fire inside our fireplace. He even went above and started a small fire one in our fireplace for our peace of mind before he left. I’d recommend Green Clean to my family and anyone looking for a great company for chimney sweeps! More than a company it’s treats customers like family. That was the key of our experience. Thanks so much!! 10+ stars. -Ana and Michael

    Ohio Chimney Co.
The Taylormaid representatives had a thorough knowledge of the regulations regarding chimneys which enabled them to provide a first-rate evaluation of the chimney. They then made provided several options on how to address the issues and their prices were very reasonable. The work they then performed was done promptly. Overall they were very professional and I highly recommend them.

    Fletcher's Chimney and Fireplace
We had one other person come to give us an estimate, the SAME thing we had Dean do, we ended up paying twice as much for the other company and they didn't do nearly as much. Dean came and did above and beyond. He was very thorough and explained every detail, I will say, he was NOT rushing, He took the time needed to get everything done the right way. We had another company lined up after him, but, we cancelled, because we've chose our man! We are EXTREMELY excited to work with him and see the outcome of our fire place. He was honest and upfront about everything, he was NOT about money, which, a LOT of these companies will try and sell you the top end of products. We asked him what would be money saving and functional for our fire place insert..he gave us names to look up and then gave us a website for our stone. I was very very impressed with how he handles his business. I will be recommending him to EVERYONE I know.

They called back right away when we requested an estimate. Cory, the owner, came out and gave us an estimate for the chimney work. He was extremely thorough in explaining what needed done and what everything would cost. The crew came out and did excellent work on our chimney repair.

Rob came with a great recommendation. He showed up at the site and asked me for a deposit of 50% to start the following week. That was Sept 14, 2020. He has never started. I have called, texted, instant messaged him over 29 times. Other than a few text telling me in a few days I have not seen or heard from him. He purposely ripped me off of $2500. Now it is Nov 6, 2020 and still nothing. Rob and his girlfriend Came to get the deposit together. They are dishonest and cheated me out of my money. If they return my deposit I’ll update this..

    Superb Lawn Care L.L.C.
Hired Tyler & his crew to do a massive job of removing dead & old shrubs dying of weeds, edging beds with decorative concrete! I have black beauty rocks. Also (2nd important) backyard dead side replanting whatever’s alive front shrubs, weed barrier & mulch. Quoted me $14,000 (+) $2000 for decorative concrete edging! Whatever we discussed wasn’t written in the quote & every single step “it’s not in the quote”. They did a good job on backyard. Garage side was supposed to be black beauty rocks.. but “not written in quote”. Then took off items to reach $10,000 (+)$2000. He offered to plant new ones, cover with weed barrier & return stone. Front got BEYOND MESSY from digging trenches. ONLY TO BE COVERED BY LESS THAN A PILLOWCASE SIZE FABRIC NOT PINNED!! WENT BOUGHT TON OF ROCKS, 6’ WEED BARRIER! When asked to fix it.. guess what?? Yup!! Not in quote! Then NO EDGING & A VERBAL FIGHT TO TAKE $11,000! EDGING?? YEA WILL COME TO DO IT! GIVE ME A DATE! NO! SIGN YOU’LL COME DO IT! NO.. THEN.. I DON’T HAVE THE MACHINE TO DO IT!! PAID $11,000 FOR FRONT YARD MESS!!

Inspection revealed additional issues so we did not have it cleaned at this time. They provided a quote for the additional work, and explained/demonstrated why it needed done. Since the repairs will be a little costly, we will need to get some competitive quotes, but based on their professionalism, I would hire them again.

    Commercial Industrial Roofing
We called Commercial Industrial Roofing and two other companies come to look at the roof on our building. The first two companies sent us proposals saying that they had to tear off the existing EPDM (rubber) Roof and all of the insulation. Commercial Industrial Roofing after closely inspecting our rubber showed us pictures and explained that the rubber roof that was currently on there was still in pretty good shape and after they did an infra-red thermal inspection the could only find six pieces of 4.5 inches of which had an R-value= 20 that were wet and needed to be torn out. The infra-red thermal inspection they did turned out to save us a lot of money.Instead of tearing off all of the existing rubber and all of the insulation. They were very honest with us. There proposal said after a thorough inspection of the existing EPDM rubber removing we found the existing rubberwas still in very good shape andthe expensive 9 inches of insulation we had was all in good shape expect the sections of rubber that had the nine pieces of wet, below. After a thorough roof inspection including an infra-red thermal inspection we propose to cut open the nine areas of rubber.Remove & dispose of nine of pieces of damaged insulation below.Provide provide and install two layers of insulation. Mechanically fasten one layer of two inch "Polyisocyanurate Insulation R-value = 11.6 and provide a second layer of 1.5inches of Insulation R-value = 8.4.(Note the second layer of insulation will be staggered over the ist layer of insulation "TO PREVENT HEAT LOSS" and also to be attached through the first layer into the metal deck. Provide and install .060 mil. EPDM membrane. The new membrane will be adhered to the new insulation and will extend a minimum of 18 inches onto the old EPDM with bonding cement........THAT WAS IT... Instead of recommending tearing off and removing all of the existing EPDM and insulation(even though 95% of it was good),Commercial Industrial Roofing did this work for us 16 years ago at an incredible price and that roof has not leaked once.
