  • He is the most wonderful vet in the world. I am in there probably once a month. They are all good experiences, we are lucky to have him. I would recommend him to everyone. Price is very reasonable. You do have to wait for him but it is worth it. He spends as much time with his clients as he needs to, he tries hard. I will use him until he reitires. I have been with him since he started practicing, over 30 years ago. There is just no comparison. He is kind, gentle, brilliant, he's extremely knowledgeable. He takes care of exotic animals, he can walk into any situation and knows everything. It's just all in his head.

  • All of the staff and Dr Hellard were very professional and courteous. They took the time to accurately assess her history, answer my questions. Costs were explained as options, and they were not pushy about getting certain tests done, which I liked. I switched vets because my previous vet was not taking the time to answer my questions or provide feedback on things I could do to make my dog better with her eye various issues. I am very happy with the switch and would recommend anyone to do the same.

  • Job was, admittedly, a fairly easy and straightforward one. I thought Ken was very pleasant to work with and very responsive to communications. He did everything asked for, price was excellent--wouldn't hesitate to hire again.

  • Awesome! Melinda made us very comfortable in the room, Dr. Hellard was prompt and professional. My dog was nervous at first, but relaxed because of their gentle demeanor. Prices were explained clearly. I love it here!

  • Worst job ever seen. This is an outdoor cat who got matted and needed the "lion cut". I waited three weeks for appointment and had explained on phone what I needed. Tina was very friendly and affectionate toward my cat. She was ready when we got there and called after 1-1/2 that cat was ready. When I picked up the cat she did not look good, but I was in a hurry to take her to vet. At the vet's office the assistant and I found lots of matts and furballs and shedding clumps of hair. The hair around neck was choppy and all different lengths. I doubt very much she had been brushed or checked. She had a couple clumps of hair dangling from her underside and looked like a child had given her a haircut. Vet was very upset thinking it was done by his groomer. Brought her back. She was cleaned up quite a bit while I waited. Did not like the rough handling, nor the fact Tina kept going with a hot blade when the cat kept reacting. Very unprofessional; very bad experience.

  • It took barely 20 minutes, which would have been okay since the cat is very shy and I wanted it to be as easy for her as possible. But I also wanted a thorough job. The groomer said she freaked out with the dryer and I understand that part. So she was VERY damp. I asked if they found any mats and was told "no". But the spiky hair on her throat wasn't even damp and hadn't been bathed. Plus her belly had been shaved up, though I didn't request it & she looks chopped up a bit. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend them for a cat who just needs basics. Maybe if your cat needs a lion cut from time to time or has definite mats which need to be cut out. Or if I had a dog that needed more work. The cost would be worth it to have someone come to your door and know your animal was the only one in the space.

  • They are very, very good.  The staff is amazing.  They are very patient.  My dog is a rescue and they are very patient with her because she acts skittish when she goes in or around people she doesn't know.  They take care of being kind to her and helping her feel welcome and helping her feel at ease.  Our dog was severely abused, so she freaks out all the time, so they do the most amazing job at trying to be super awesome to her;  they give her treats and they pet her.  They're awesome.

  • They were very nice and helpful. The only thing I did not like was when I took the dog in I didn’t expect to be shaved so close as he was.  I think the price was reasonable. He had a lot of things done.

  • Dr. Hellard and her staff always provide excellent care to my dogs. They explain all procedures and give me an estimate before procedures are done so I'm aware of the costs ahead of time. I also appreciate getting a call the day after any procedures that are done to check on how my dog is doing.

  • Carla, the owner, recommended puppy training. On our first session, she curtly told me we were in the wrong class. I reminded her she is the one that instructed to attend this class. I paid $155 for sessions. For the first 20 minutes of class, she instructed owners to let the dogs off leash to socialize. My puppy was anxious. The only other thing we did that class was encourage our dogs to come using loads of treats. Second session was more of the same, but this time Carla had us put clothes on our puppies to get them used to wearing cute outfits. Soon thereafter I get a call from Carla recommending I come in for a consultation because my puppy was anxious off leash. What I didn't realize is she charged $150 for about 20 minutes of having her trained dog on a leash and watching my puppy react. She already saw this behavior in the previous two sessions. She said the next step were private sessions which would total $550. So, for two completely useless sessions, I not only paid $155 for the classes but also for the consultation. We feel totally taken advantage of and highly recommend prospective clients to look elsewhere.
