Unfortunately our moving experience with Eko Movers was less than great. In fact it has been down right terrible. We contacted Eko Movers to move us from our home into a temporary home in late April. At the last minute our temporary home wasn't gong to be ready. We paid Eko Movers one month of storage to hold our truck for the 1 week we would be in a hotel. Perfect! I was very concerned that one truck would not be enough for our large home, but was told not to worry they do this all the time. On the day of the move one truck was not even close to enough. They went back to get a second truck (smaller) and it still was not enough. I ended up needing to rent a uHaul to finish the move myself. At least we were moved out. Eight days later we pull up to our temporary home and the two trucks were different, huh I was under the impression they would hold our stuff in the truck. No problem. First item out, our cream colored couches (for which we provided couch covers) has large grease smear stains where it was obviously slide across a dirty truck or warehouse floor). Next the dining room table, scratches where it was slide across a floor. My son's bunk bed broken support leg. My daughter's dresser broken leg. So on and so on. In total 17 pieces of our furniture show signs of being pushed across the floor. Ok, these things happen. I followed their claims process, including taking pictures of each item, estimating the weight and researching purchase price. I was prepared to receive compensation by the pound ($0.60/lb). Using Eko's weight tool our damaged furniture totaled over 4300 lbs. After 90 days of forced communication on my part I get their restitution offer...$67.20. This will not even replace one of the dining chairs broken during the move. I know accidents can happen, but the clear signs of furniture being pushed along the floor is not an accident, it is negligence that is a very poor reflection on the company. Their handling of this entire experience only confirms that they do not care about your stuff and should be avoided at all costs.

    United Moving & Storage
Do not under any circumstances use this moving company. They held my belongings for 22 days and did not deliver them in the same condition that they picked them up in. Items were not packaged as paid for *tv's in cartons* and special packing of grandfather clock and curio. One of the movers spent more time on his cellphone than he did carrying my items downstairs. The cost for this move was based on weight however they did not use a semi so it never was weighed. Items were picked up in a Uhaul truck and dropped off in a Penske truck after an $800 cash was requested. The contract was pulled from the website immediately after signing however I was smart enough to make a copy. The link to report claims takes you to google search and not their insurance company. Several items were damaged when they were finally received on day 22. Contract says have up to 21 days. Better business bureau was contacted and they tried to get the business to take responsibility however the company did not do so and the Better Business Bureau has now revoked their rating. I have sent repeated emails to the company asking for 1/2 my money back and they have not responded. They have now started using the name Unitedmove services, United Relocation Services etc. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

    Mr. Mover of Ohio Inc
It is the first and only movers I have used that every thing was intact and nothing missing. They made sure we had beds to sleep in and a kitchen to cook in. They had 13 people to move us in 2 days and nothing was broken or damaged. Every thing was great. The sales man was like a drill sergeant and everything he said they did, they were great!!. They went out of their way to make thing as simple as possible for us. If they did not have to take it apart which made it easy to set back up.

    Two Men and A Truck
We moved 1.5 miles from a 4 bedroom house to another 4 bedroom house and had several items broken and damaged in the process. One of the movers damaged our banister at our old house by completely knocking the post off the base. We were closing on the house 2 days later so had to have someone come out and fix it immediately. The manager was supposed to come over at the end of the move to ***** the damage and never showed. Also during the move, a desk leg and son's trains table legs were broken off. The movers also scratched the floor in the laundry room in the new house while putting in the washer. My husband also witnessed one of the movers drop our grill and now the shelf won't stay up. We have also since discovered that a bike is broken. We have been calling Two Men and a Truck and have received one phone call back from the manager, Ricky. We tried to call him back several times and have yet to hear from him again.

    You Move Me
Only made it to estimate. Got phone estimate that was half of in person estimate. In person estimate took 2 reminder emails to get and then another reminder to get final numbers. Decided not to hire to lack of punctuality and disappointment of the difference in quotes. Beware of phone quote

University Moving and Storage- North American Line
Crew was on time and friendly and kept us informed of status. Company overcharged labor hours by 1 hour as bill did not reflect actual onsite start time. Ended up damaging dining room table top, no claim filed, and broke corner of mirror which was reimbursed although not sufficient to repair/replace mirror in headboard.

    Hercules Moving & Storage
Things went very well with the move. Because it was on a weekday when things were quiet, they sent two trucks and 5 (or 6) men. I can't remember too much of the details as the move was November 2015. The workers were very nice. The price was good. Only thing we didn't know in advance was that they are usually tipped, so my husband made a quick bank run.

    Two Men And A Truck
On Moving Day, the movers that showed up immediately knew that the quote was wrong and they called in additional men. In the end: 5 guys, 2 trucks, ~11 hours, $2700! The Tylersville front office called to investigate huge price difference and said they would be in contact, but then would not call back when I left messages. When I finally reached the owner on the phone, he (Chad) explained it was a prior owner, and "not our fault". He basically stated that he wouldn't do anything for me. During this time, I had my items stuck in storage, and had already "moved" into the new house, sleeping on air mattresses I bought due to no furniture, etc. I was trying to get Tylersville to work with me on the second part of my move. I had to pressure Chad to work with me on a "discount" moving from my storage unit into my new house (due to the huge initial discrepancy), but then wouldn't work with me on a date. And I needed my things in my new home immediately. I was in my new home and waiting for my furniture, packed clothes, etc. I contacted different movers - Two Men and a Truck - Mason office. When I informed the Tylersville office that the Mason location (which is a different franchise) was willing to move me instead, Tylersville acted absolutely thrilled to not move me again. Their exact words were "You don't need us anymore? AWESOME!!!" I was confused by this response: at no time was I rude or irate with the front office staff or the owner. So to recap: Tylersville moving guys were great, but their front office / owner - TERRIBLE. The Mason location move me the second time. They were fantastic from beginning to end. And their quote was accurate: their cost to move me from storage to my new home was much cheaper than Tylersville's second "quote" - even with the "discount"! If you're in the West Chester or Mason area and looking for Two Men and a Truck: know the mover franchises. The Mason Two Men and a Truck have a great reputation. The Tylersville location however - does not.

All My Sons Moving & Storage
All my son's broke - broke - broke my furniture.  They threw my stuff off of the truck. Broke the back leg of my sofa , scratched and dented several bookcases and tables and my antique buffet, slit a huge hole in one of my canvas paintings, threw my plastic bins full of glass vases around when I specifically told them to handle with care (I had bubble wrapped all of the items several times but that doesn't help when they throw your bins on concrete). I told the guys when they arrived to take special care of these specific bins, and the head guy got smart with me and said, "We know what we are doing!"  I had a headboard made of antique doors and they threw them off of the truck onto the grass and broke them (my neighbor who witnessed it, told me later that is how they ended up busted).

After all of that,  they left a ton of stuff in our garage that we could not move after. And then!!! bid the job at $1400 BUT charged us $2800!  They took 10 hours (because they spent more time arguing than carrying furniture) and in the end just packed my dining room full of boxes instead of placing them in the rooms that were marked on the boxes.  I was supposed to have four guys but only 3 showed up that could work - the fourth had back problems and drove the truck over and then left.  The three moving guys argued the whole time about who was going to move what and called each other names.

I called the office and Jason Courtney had an attitude and said, "what do u want me to do about it!"  Seriously find another mover if you do not want your furniture and accessories damaged and end up being charged double the estimate.

    Move It Now
They came and started moving stuff. I told my power company to shut off the power. The movers said that it was too dark to do any more moving and left. After I spoke with their manager about the room not being that dark, and they saw that he might back, the guy claimed that I was yelling at them. I was talking to the manager on the phone and the worker was trying to talk to me at the same time, and I told them that I couldn't hear two people at once. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
