Does a Painting Estimate Really Matter?

Interior Painting reviews in West Chester

Reached out to this company to get a estimate. They replied with email and a date was set but no time was given, 3 days before the appointment I contacted them about a time. They said had no record of this appointment ? I sent their original email back to them and they replied would be out same day as set before between 4-5 pm.The day of appointment, NO ONE SHOWED UP nor did I get a call if there was problem on their end. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

Every thing was great. They recommend an eggshell paint where I previously used Flat . I loved the Eggshell looks so much better than the Flat. I would highly recommend. They took all mirrors down and blinds. They were on time and cleaned up after. Walls and Baseboards looked amazing. Loved, Loved, Loved I will definitely be using again.

    JPC Painting Company
My Wife and I used Jared and his team twice this year, both times they did an excellent job. Our initial project was to paint our main entrance with roughly 15 ft ceilings, which they completed with no problem in 2 days. Our second project was to refinish the staircase and bannister in the main entrance. Project took 3 days in which the staircase looked brand new. We will use Jared and his crew as they do excellent work in a short period.

    Van Stein Construction
Mr. Stein and his crew did great job remodeling our master bathroom. He is very professional and does excellent work. We were always informed about the progress and next steps. After the end of workday, they cleaned up the construction site keeping the second floor clean. It was really nice and easy to work with his company. The master bathroom looks amazing and I would definitely hire Van Stein Construction company again and recommend to my friends.

    Pierson Professional Painting
They came. They worked. They were tradesmen/craftsmen. They were perfectionist correcting what they deemed not up to their quality where I could not see an imperfection. They cleaned up their work areas. They kept me abreast of cost as I added new repairs to the list. They were cordial, professional, personable, efficient and freely engaged in conversation when approached. They painted bathroom cabinets that I had tried to paint but butchered the job. They hung a light fixture, ceiling fan, repaired drywall ceiling expansion joints, repaired drywall cutout made by a plumber installing a gas line, fished TV/Audio wires through the wall to hide the wires, installed service door in the garage, repaired quarter round floor molding in the kitchen and finished quarter round floor molding in the laundry room. They left charging a fair price and I could not be happier! I recommend this company to anyone who desires quality work.

    Yes We Paint Fast
My wife and I were deciding between Yes We Paint Fast and another painter. After speaking with the front office staff, we decided to go with Yes We Paint Fast. The estimates we were given were pretty comparable initially, with Yes We Paint Fast being just over 10% cheaper and being able to begin and finish the job sooner. Given our conversations with the two different painters, we thought we would get the same quality work at a slightly cheaper price and slightly quicker with Yes We Paint Fast. This was our first home. We are very excited and wanted to get it painted prior to moving in. Unfortunately, after our experience with Yes We Paint Fast, we would not recommend them nor plan to use them in the future. The quality of the work and attention to detail was not in-line with the cost. We intentionally went with what we perceived to be a higher quality painter, even if it was a little more expensive, because we wanted to start off in our first home with a good paint job in place. After they finished, we marked at least 150 areas with painters tape (though probably more) that needed correcting. These varied from small, less than quarter-sized deficiencies that should have never made it through the final inspection, to simply not painting some areas that should have been painted, to not appropriately prepping surfaces prior to painting, to inexcusably poor lines scattered throughout the home. Several lines were so poor that our wood cabinets, kitchen granite, and multiple bathrooms surfaces ended up with paint on them. We ended up taking over 100 photos of the issues. When we brought it to their attention the front office said they were stunned and the owner/lead painter said they had gone over the house with a fine tooth comb after finishing the job. When we met for a walk through the owner was professional and said he would do his best to fix everything, but was not sure he could, indicating that our expectations were high. He spent 2.5 days working to fix the job, and did improve it, but at the second walk through my wife and I continued to point out deficiencies. We ultimately decided it was not going to get to where we wanted it and had to deal with it not being good enough, and not in accordance with the price we paid, particularly since the cost of the job went up $630, $550 of which was due to the need for more coats. This added to our disappointment as we think this may have not been necessary if the surfaces were prepped appropriately. The owner apologized for the inconvenience and he said he understood some of our concerns, stating the original work was not up to their normal standards, noting he had some painters who were not regular members of his team rotating through. This was again disappointing as the front office had explicitly made the point that part of the reason they were so good and we should go with them was because they had regular team members that made the quality of their jobs better. While we appreciate the effort to correct the job and how courteous the team was throughout the process, our experience with Yes We Paint Fast was disappointing as the quality of the job was not in line with what we expected for the price. We would not recommend using Yes We Paint Fast.

    Tri State Painting
Chris and his team were super thorough when they painted my home. They took extra time to ensure that 13 years of warping/shifting from our house settling was hardly noticeable. They say that painting is far more about preparation than the actual painting, and these guys do an awesome job with the prep.

    Van Stein Construction
Bathrooms were remodeled beautifully. Extra work had to be done on the flooring in two where the toilets had leaked. The half bath was totally reworked and looks 1000 times better. Van had really good ideas for everything. Then we decided to have the wall between the family room and dining room knocked down. So HVAC and electrical work had to be done. Tile floors were added to the kitchen, laundry room and foyer. Lighting was added in the ceilings and new blinds and curtains were installed. I'm sure there were a lot more things done, and we were more than pleased with the results. It looks like a new home. Van and the other workers were easy to work with and became friends that you were comfortable having in your home. It was a great experience!

They completed the job within 2 days. Very friendly. Were easy to work with. Completed the drywall and then painted. Great people to work with. Did not overcharge. We like the patchwork and paint job they performed.

Patty and her team were beyond excellent. Professional and flexible the entire time they worked on our house. The painters were always punctual and their work was exceptional while Patty made some very helpful suggestions to get our house looking great! I will definitely call Patty again for any future painting needs and highly recommend that others do so as well.
