    I love working with Suzanne. She has a fabulous eye for color and is very knowledgeable in all aspects of decorating. She really takes the time to get to know you as a client so that she can understand your style. She can pick out everything and bring it to you or accompany you on shopping trips. She is very flexible in her consulting arrangements. For our new home I told Suzanne that she had 100% veto power over anything I picked out ... she's just that good! Suzanne is very, very creative and an outstanding problem solver. She can take an idea - work it around and develop solutions that are workable. My daughter wanted to have a whole wall in our basement for people to sign. Suzanne came up with the idea (pictured) and created a piece of art that serves the purpose and looks fantastic. She will also let you know if she doesn't think one of your selections or ideas won't work and does a great job explaining her thought process. Suzanne is quite frugal and practical. She will stay within your budget. Customer drapery is expensive - I always have a little sticker shock on those, however Suzanne's consulting fees are very reasonable. I never felt pressure to buy something I didn't love. The price quoted below represents draperies and consulting services for a new home. I have worked with Suzanne off & on for over 20 years and would highly recommend any and all of her services.

    The project was probably too easy for Jim's skills, but he took it on enthusiastically and with professionalism. The pieces were exactly what I wanted and delivered when Jim said he could get them completed. If we have any other custom projects in mind Jim will be the first person we contact.     Nothing but trouble from the start took them weeks and weeks to get the installer out. They were a bunch of kids with one old man running the crew who sat in his car all day with the AC running. They put it together wrong had to get a part they ruined. They left the backyard trashed with they lunch garbage and hundreds of cigarette buds. The pool has had a fold an a bunch of divots because they asked us to buy 1 ton of sand and used like 3 barrels worth. Its always had a bad bottom and keeps getting worse. We called them immediately and they at first wanted to fix it. First they scheduled it for the end of the season then called us and said they where backed up and would do it next spring. My husband fell and broke his arm and shoulder requiring surgery and he was out for the summer. Then I had heart issues and other health issues. My husband just got over cancer surgery and we wanted to finally get the pool fixed and we also needed a Hot tub for medical reasons for Back and leg injuries. The salesman took us to the service desk they looked up our ticket said she needed to check and schedule and then we spent 3 weeks trying to get an answer and now they tell us No its been too long and if you don't like the answer you can talk to the Director of Service (Wouldn't give me his name) but he was busy i should call back. So now I'm looking for warranty repair and another company that might want my $10,000 for a hottub and new patio furniture

    Pollman's Custom Upholstery
    Work was great, but he outsourced the furniture regluing to a chair expert who was not timely.  The work that was done by Mr. Pollman was the best, and so was the gluing, but if you need the regluing prepare for a possible wait.  I would gladly use him again, based on the results.

    We bought a flex steel leather sofa and love seat. Both ends of each couch recline. After a couple of weeks, the middle section of the sofa, which does not recline, was not aligned properly with the rest of the sofa. Tim, the owner came out and suggested sending his repair man to fix it. Tim told me that his repair man would call me next week, when he came back from vacation. I waited a couple of weeks, but no one called me. I left several messages for Tim, but he never returned my calls. Finally I spoke to one of the associates who put me in contact with the repairman and he didn't seem to know about the situation. Well, I finally spoke with Tim and I suggested that flex steel replace the couch since it was a brand new couch and clearly a manufacturing problem. He agreed, then a month later I had a new coach. Well, 2 years later, the color of the leather on the love seat started to fade in some parts but not others. I keep it well conditioned and covered with throws. The sofa was fine, but the love seat was not wearing well on one side. I called Tim and again, left many messages and no response, I spoke and communicated through email, with one of the other sales associates, who called the manufacturer. I was told flex steel would not do anything on their end to repair situation and it was my expense. I finally got Tim on the phone, he said he would call the rep and keep me posted. I never heard from him, then I spoke with him again, he told me the rep's grandmother passed away and with Thanksgiving approaching it would be after Thanksgiving. I waited until after Thanksgiving, I emailed Tim several times, but have not heard from him. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE SORRY! CONSIDERING THEY ARE A SMALL LOCAL BUSINESS, THEY DO NOT TAKE CARE OF THEIR CUSTOMERS! I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THE FIRST INCIDENT TO MAKE SURE ALL WAS FINE. THERE ARE ENOUGH SMALL BUSINESSES AROUND TO DO BUSINESS WITH!

    We purchased a refrigerator for delivery and install guaranteed by the sales person that they are standard and we would have no issues.  We had to wait a week because after everything it was a stock item that has to be special ordered.  It is delivered and is too big for our space and can't be installed.  We are told we can come in and buy another one, but can't get a refund because we paid cash and they can't cut checks but once a week.  So trapped over a barrel and against our better judgement we go back to the store and have a choice of only 2 refrigerators we can get and are forces to choose on.  We have to wait another 2 days for it to get installed and the install it rong connecting it to the hot water supply and it takes them like 2 hours to get it completed not including moving out fridge to the basement..  Now we have to wait for them to fit us in to get the refrigerator reinstalled and our pipe replaced because they punched a hole in it  to install it wrong.  So overall we have 2 weeks 2 lost days of income, damage to the plumbing.  I used to sing the praises of this company but we got better service from another purchase at a big box home improvement store.  The sales person was rude and blamed us for the mistake, her manager was nasty as well and offered no help.  Their receptionist treated me like it was my fault and she was way too busy to be bothered.  and the main manager Eric apologized said he would get some on right out and now 4 hour later nothing has happened zero follow through on all parts.  I can't in good faith ever recommend them again and think they need to look long and hard at their customer service and customer experience if they want new customers and wish to retain the few they have left.

    From the first time I met Joe I was impressed with his candor and honesty. He patiently explained what it was going to take to bring this piece back to life. I appreciated how he re-used all of the original materials keeping this as authentic as possible.  In addition he told me ways I could save money if I wanted to do some of the work myself.  I'm glad I left the whole project to him.  The finished piece is amazing.

    We bought the deal through Angie's List for a full piano tuning. Since this piano was a freebie from a friend moving out of town, we had no idea when it was last serviced or tuned. But it definitely sounded ROUGH. She spent a good couple of hours thoroughly cleaning, tuning and adjusting, as well as fixing the sheet music attachment that had come loose. Now, our piano sounds as good as new. We had no idea it could even sound that good!
    Definitely a worthwhile purchase.
