    Sohan & Sons Waterproofing Co
Sunjeet came and assessed the problem and determined the source of the leak was not at ground level. After testing with a hose, he determined the source of the leak is the siding join of the porch to the house, one story above ground. When the hose was aimed at the spot, water immediately began dripping into the basement at the leak location. Sohan & Sons is the fourth water proofing company to come out and the first to diagnose the problem. Others have suggested thousands of dollars of work in fixes, but none that made sense or that re-created the leak. Sohan & Sons charged no fee, and recommended I contact a quality siding company to repair the problem, and to be sure to test the fix works. I highly recommend this honest & knowledgeable company!!!

    Mitchell's Restoration Services
The Mitchell's restoration team was great! The team was able to quickly identify problem areas caused by our sump pump failing, get rid of material impacted by flood, and begin the process of restoring our basement to its original condition. Their ability to stay on task while being flexible enough to incorporate upgrades we asked as clients is what really impressed our family. They are passionate about customer satisfaction and made sure we were pleased with the outcome time and time again. I would recommend them for any contracting needs.

    The Foundation Specialists, LLC
My experience with Fadi Haboush was perfect. He is very knowledgeable, he explained to me the problem and how he would fix it. He also gave me tips on how to maintain it. He is a very nice man, was on time and was very good with communication. IE, letting me know when he was coming, responded to texts. I would recommend him to anyone :)

Jason came to the house in order to give me an estimate to repair cracks in the foundation. While he was in the crawl space, he noticed an air conditioning vent pipe had fallen. He put it back in place while he was there even though it had nothing to do with the estimate. He could have just mentioned it and left it to me, but instead he repaired it. On the day the repair work was scheduled, Jason and his crew arrived exactly at the time scheduled. In preparation for the work, they laid down tarps on the floors in the main house going from the basement to the garage in order to keep dust and dirt from collecting in the living area. While Jason and his crew were here I added a couple of items and he took care of them at a very reasonable price. He could have taken advantage and charged a lot for the additional work, but he kept it very fair. The work was completed as promised and the work areas were cleaned up after completion. I expected and lot of dust and rubble throughout the house and was thrilled with how clean it was when the crew left. I would use Healthy Basement Concepts again in the future, if the need arose.

These guys worked SO hard. They showed up when they said they would and worked until the job was done in spite of a couple of unexpected issues that came up. It was expensive, but the guarantee backing it up made all the difference. All the work was done by hand in spite of the limited clearance in the crawl space and were very careful and respectful of the property both inside and out. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

    Henry Excavating Inc
Wonderful! They called me back the same day and came out to take a look free of charge early the next morning. Very detailed explanation of services needed. Was able to fit me in the same afternoon and only took 2 hours. Used copper pipe and were able to trench underground vs tearing up my yard for half the coat of the other guys who would take more than a day to complete, tearing up yard and using cheaper pipe. Staff was extremely professional even taking the time to rake left over dirt clumps out of yard. VERY IMPRESSED!!

    Dwyer Co
Dwyer Co. eliminated both problems. They arrived as scheduled, commenced work, and had the slabs elevated in a relatively short period of time. They filled the holes created to inject the new concrete and smoothed the fill so the slabs look appropriate.

ERIC HINES - HINES GENERAL CONTRACTING
On 7/11/17 Eric Hines with Hines General Contracting came to my home to provide me with a quote on finishing my basement. After discussing my ideas and the job, Eric wrote up a bid for $6,250.00. Eric very quickly flashed me his "license and insurance" (in which I asked for copies but never received) and provided me a copy of the quote. The contract read half up front ($3,250) and then $1,000 payments to be made weekly until the 3 week job was completed. I wrote him a check for $3,250 and he cashed it within the hour that same day. Work was to begin the next day (7/12/17). On 7/12/17 Eric Hines no showed. On 7/13 and 7/14 excuses began pouring in as to why materials had not been delivered and work had not been started. (Weather, Lowes not having items, workers not having rides. etc..etc..) On 7/15/17 Eric Hines attempted to have materials purchased at Lowes credited to his debit card. Tylersville Road Lowes manager called me in and alerted me of the criminal behavior telling me Eric was acting hostile, verbally aggressive and shouting in front of other customers demanding a refund. I showed up within 10 minutes and alerted the police that I needed their assistance as Eric was also very aggressive with me (I am 7 months pregnant). Eric attempted to get in his vehicle and pull off from the scene when 3 police cruisers pulled into the parking lot. I then drafted a release from contract (witnessed by 3 West Chester police officers and 2 witnesses at the scene) Eric aggressively, signed the document voiding our contract and agreeing to refund me back $2,913.00 no later than 7/20/17 (claiming the banks needed 5-10 business days to have funds from an online order credited back to him) ***Lowe's manager is prepared to testify at court that this is a flat out lie*** The manager brought myself, my witness and an officer into his store to show us that if infact there was a paid receipt for an online order or any other order from a Lowe's store in the state of Ohio it would show in his system, there was none!***** 7/20/17 I called and texted Eric asking when and where I could meet him for my refund and he said he still did not have the credit from Lowe's. 7/20/17- 8/4/17 A disinterested third party attempted to work with Eric Hines to collect my refund and was told week after week he still had not seen the funds hit his account. 8/11/17 Judge Robert Lyons with Lyons and Lyons attorneys at law reviewed a 52 page document with the original bid, Contract release, text message transcripts, voicemail's, emails and other pertinent information provided to him and advised me to file both criminal and civil charges with the West Chester Police Department Monday 8/14/17. 8/14/17 Formally filed a BBB complaint with Eric Hines and Hines General Contracting. If no response is heard and refund made within 24 hours myself and my attorney are meeting at the WCPD to formally file charges against Eric Hines and/or Hines General Contracting, in addition to what is owed I am suing for attorney fees, court costs and all other fees allowable by the courts to the furthest extent of the law.

    Healthy Basement Concepts,LLC
Jason is both the owner and the foreman of HBC. It is apparent that he is very good at what he does. On the first day, he and his associate spent several hours just to cover our basement belongings in plastic to control dust. Jason did the jackhammering himself to open our basement floor. When there was something in the way that really shouldn't be moved (i.e., a hot water tank), he hand dug a tunnel under the surface concrete. In all, the interior portion of the project took 3 full days, during which he was personally present to do most of the technical and hard work himself. The 4th day comprised exterior grading, downspout extension, two simple window wells, and general clean-up. His team wiped down everything in detail, including the walls. Jason even gone above and beyond what our original contract stated by putting up finishing wall covers in areas he suspects of potential leakage so that any water comes through gets directly channeled to the drainage system. He also tore out the old pipes of our sump pump, which looked like a DIY setup, replaced them with a setup that looks far more professional and orderly along with a dual sump pit system while using our original equipment. All in all, Jason Fry and Healthy Basement Concepts provide a great service, expert installation, at exceptionally reasonable prices. He is also just generally a very nice guy and works very hard to make sure that every project is being done as though it's for his own house. If you're going to spend close to $10,000 on a major basement project, trust Jason and his team to get the best quality and value.

    Henry Excavating Inc
Job was completed in a timely manner. Mr. Henry even went to the hardware store for a part so he could hook up the garden hose to the water meter so I could have running water until the pipe was replaced
