    Sheldon & Sons Inc
They are like super expensive. I probably wasn't going to use them. I am only painting 3 windows and 4 doors and they wanted like $5,000. I was like really. Besides being expensive, the estimate was good, it was detailed. They were very responsive. I would use them again for estimates. They are a little bit expensive. I would probably not use them but if I needed a comparison I would throw them in there knowing they are going to be to high.

    SAMMON FENCE COMPANY
Georgette Sammon could not have been easier to work with or more professional.  Her work crew was one of the best I have ever dealt with.  Polite, hard working, and even went back and changed something I decided wasn't to my liking.   I would highly recommend Sammon Fence and will definitely do more business with them in the future.   One of the best experiences with any contract based company we have ever used.

    Columbia Fence LLC
I woke up and drove 30 minutes out to the house we bought to meet for a fencing estimate (between 9-10 per Brian). I arrived 15 minutes early in case they were to arrive ahead of schedule. I sat there until 10:20 when Brian finally called to tell me he had paperwork and wouldn't make it out and would need to reschedule. I don't think that will happen, as obviously my time is not valuable to this company. Instead we will give our several thousand dollars worth of fencing to one of the companies that showed up..when they said they would. I am highly disappointed, and had the phone call came at 9 o'clock to give me a heads up that he wasn't going to make it, I would have happily rescheduled. It was the fact I sat there and they did not have the courtesy to call until after the appointment time had already came and gone.

    Johnny's Bee Clean Co
Arrived at 9:30, left at 6:00. House siding looks new, all soot and mold gone. Roof looks excellent. Spent a full day getting everything right. Even fixed the loose chimney cover. Highly recommended. Include them in your list of quotes for this type of work.

    College Works Painting - California
THe representative Ty Brocksieker was very pleasant, professional and helpful in choosing our colors and what was needed to make our house more beautiful.  We never felt pressured to make our selections.  Pros and cons were presented making us feel very confident and eager to see the transformation of our home.  Ty Brocksieker, David Girard and Matt Guyot informed us of all that was taking place from day to day.  They were on time, clean and very respectful.  They were quiet and constantly going over each others work to make sure there were no unwanted spots or spots missed.  All noted touch ups were immediately rectified.  They were very efficient with all the equipment used.  clean up was quick and they were very careful to paint around my garden and there was no over spray on my plants around the house.  Their pride and professionalism resulted in a job well done.  Today we look at our home and are very happy with the colors and how it looks.  We would, with no hesitation, recommend College Works Painting to all our friends and family.

    Stipe Painting LLC
After hiring Stipe Painting in 2002 to perform the prep and painting work on my home I have attempted to work with them to resolve numerous problems with the job and the work the company performed. I had originally hired Stipe Painting for a premium price because I was given the impression that their work ethic and quality standards would be superior to others. I have been disappointed by the lack of follow-up on issues and evident unwillingness to take any responsibility for the failure of the paint job they performed and the damage caused to my home by their negligence in areas additional to painting. Due to the unsatisfactory performance of the paint job and their unwillingness to help in correcting the situation, I recently hired another firm to repair and re-paint my house. I have incurred thousands of dollars of expenses for the labor for the paint job and the cost for repairs and replacement of damaged wood siding and window frame repairs due to improper work by Stipe Painting. I requested Stipe Painting share in a portion of these costs. On August 1, 2002, I accepted Stipe Painting?s proposal for work to be done on my home. Since that time I paid Stipe Painting over $6,000 for the work they performed. Since the completion of the original work, I have been experiencing premature failure of the job I paid you to do. Initially, I contacted Stipe Painting within the first two years of the job having been completed when the peeling first began. Although you used the wrong base paint and left drips of paint where you touched up, I was satisfied that you were responsive to my issue with the poor performance of the paint job at that point. When I questioned you as to why there was peeling so soon when you used a paint that had a 25 year guarantee Stipe mentioned some suggested technique that could have used on my house. There was no follow up to this suggestion on thier part. Over the next several years the problem of peeling paint worsened and go to such a bad state that I needed to address the situation in order to prevent permanent damage and rotting of my home. At this point I realized that I should not be facing such a threat to my home after having paid for paint and a professional to perform a job. I contacted Sherwin Williams and Stipe Painting to make them aware of the situation and that I was looking for something to be done to correct it. This was at the end of 2009. Sherwin Williams was willing to work with Stipe and take care of the paint supplies, however, they assumed Stipe Painting would be doing something on their end to resolve the failure of the paint job at my house. When Stipe Painting eventually came out to see the condition of my house, he was shocked to see how bad the paint job had gotten and how much damage there was to my home. At this visit, Rob Stipe told me that he was confident that we could work something out to make this right. I felt relieved that we seemed to be in agreement to do something to make the situation right. I explained that I was not the professional and that is why I hired his company. I did not expect you to eat all of the cost but I also did not think that I should be in this situation and was not in a position to pay the entire cost for the job to be redone. Rob left by telling me that he would have to work out the numbers and would get back in touch with my in a few days. When he called me back several days later, we discussed ideas for repairing the house and the work. All of this sounded good until he told me that it would cost me up to $4,000 dollars to do! Rob Stipe said that he was not going to take a loss for this! I explained to you that I could not afford this and didn?t feel that you were working with me on resolving the situation. Something went terribly wrong with the job you did on my house and I dont think that I should be the only one paying the cost for the mistakes/ oversights of others! Stipe Painting did not work with me in correcting the situation, I felt it would be foolish of me to pay Stipe Painting again to fix the first job, whose work they weren?t even standing by. I went ahead and got several opinions and estimates for the repaint and repair to my home. When an estimate for the job was only $200 more than Stipes from someone else I went ahead and hired the other firm. As the job went on, we discovered that much wood had been damaged where the paint had peeled from the house. Also, due to your workmanship and use of inadequate hardware and methods in the re-hanging of my storm windows, they were compromised and sagged, bowed, and rotted due to your negligence. In addition to the labor to re-paint the house, I also had to absorb the expense of wood siding and the labor for replacing wood and repairing the damage to my storm windows. This alone was over $1000 more in cost to me. I was not in any position to be spending this amount of money and am still at a great loss from this whole ordeal. At this time, as I was incurring the expense of your painting job being re-done and also realizing additional wood and window repair expenses, I contacted Stipe again. I explained to you my frustration with their lack of cooperation and unwillingness to work with me to make the situation right when my house needed repair. I explained that not only did my house need repainted and repairs due to the failure of their job, but that their negligence in hanging my storm windows had caused additional damage to my home also. I explained that I did not feel that I should be left with all of this cost when you were the professional I had hired to do a job and your job was failing. I wanted to give Stipe Painting one more opportunity to try to make the situation right. They did not respond to this request. When I contacted the Better Business Bureau and the Ohio Attorney General's office and asked for thier help, Stipe again responded with an inadequate defense. Stipe Painting's latest response. incorrectly utilized Sherwin Williams (3rd party) chemical report to defend their quality of work. I personally spoke with the manager of the Sherwin Williams Store and she stated that the report does not determine what caused the failure, it simply gives information on what might have contributed to the failure. The report does not attest to work or quality of it. It may even give evidence to negligence in work which could have created the conditions which contributed to the failure. Another item which was completely ignored in Stipe Painting's response was the damage caused to my house and window frames by their negligence in re-hanging windows on my home which caused damage and rotting. I feel that I have not option but to take them to court. I simply refuse to allow them to conduct their business affairs with such a lack of professionalism and responsibility. I would strongly discourage anyone from doing business with them. I am sure they have had many jobs which turned out well and had no issues, but I feel that it is how one responds in adversity, which truly shows who they are. Stipe Painting has clearly shown that they are not willing to take responsibility for their work and have truly disappointed me with their lack of integrity in this matter. Ultimately, Rob Stipe TOLD me alot of things that I wanted to hear, however, he followed through on very few. My advice is not to trust what someone tells you they will do, instead, trust their actions. The bottom-line: After Stipe Painting performed work on my home, it suffered premature peeling and structural damage requiring re-application of paint and extensive repair to wood and windows. Due to their unwillingness to help in the repainting and repair, I was forced to hire another firm to perform the work ($4500). Additionally, I incurred costs for materials and repairs to the wood on the storm windows which were a result of your negligence in the re-hanging of them ($1000). I expect you to work with me to obtain a satisfactory resolution. Specifically, I expect you to reimburse me one half of my expenses for repair to my home in relation to the work you originally performed.

They did a very good job. Considering the adverse weather conditions, they finished the work in a short time. It looks great. We were very pleased with the results.
