    PROFESSIONAL DRIVING SCHOOL
STAY AWAY. My son has been registered since June. Took the in person classes and cannot schedule his behind the wheel because there is NEVER any availability. It's September and we still have not had him behind the wheel. They have minimal availability and whoever is online at the time they are posted gets to schedule the class. They are not taking individuals in order of registration. I was told to just "keep trying". They never answer the phone and the only way to reach anyone is via their online email. While I understand things have been turned upside down by Covid it is ridiculous that they are booked into November and we still cannot get scheduled 5 months later. Terrible system. Not helpful.

My son spent about eight weeks with them. Three of those weeks were in the car training. They were good. It went well. The pricing was competitive.

We are very happy with them.  I believe that it is a national chain.  It is completely run by men and women who are police officers.  They are extremely thorough because they are police officers.  They are also very knowledgeable about the laws of the State of Ohio.  They practice extreme caution.  My daughter was taught very well.

    Top Driver - Powell
SOME OF THE CLASSES SEEMED TO BE LESS WELL-TAUGHT THAN COULD HAVE BEEN, BUT OVERALL, OUR SON LEARNED WHAT HE NEEDED TO LEARN. THE PERSONAL LESSONS WERE VERY FRIENDLY, AND HE GOT TO CHOOSE, TO SOME EXTENT, WHERE HE WANTED TO DRIVE, WHICH HE ENJOYED. THE IN-CAR HOURS WERE VERY FLEXIBLY SCHEDULED. ONE PROBLEM WE SAW: THE DRIVING TEACHER TOOK BREAKS DURING THE 2-HOUR LESSONS FOR A SMOKE.

It was fine. They seemed to be very professional and courteous. They are always prompt with scheduling the driving lessons. Everything seemed to go real well.

Since they moved to the Commerce Dr location, the space available for teaching is quite small, however my daughter thought it was good.  She and two other boys had class together and she felt comfortable there.

We feel that they are the very best in the country. Their rules are double what the state of Ohio mandates. They go for a whole day Saturday and a whole day Sunday with their car. They have their own property to drive on. The class room time is 2 1/2 hours and they have films that the parents have to go to. All of this is on their property. They are just very thorough.

Driving 911 Driving School - Rocky River
My son said the instructors were good and the information gave him a lot of confidence in his driving skills. They took care of all the paperwork at the end for permits and they seemed like they were very good and thorough. The instructors are retired police officers. The instructors were on-time for the classes. The price is probably a little more than other places but we feel the quality of the instruction was worth it.

    Advantage Driver Training
The five or six instructors sent by Advantage ranged from very good to excellent. They were all patient and gave careful, clear explanations. They were also extremely courteous and professional. I credit them for my ability to pass my driving test on the first try. Not only that, but they taught me to driver in real-world situations! I highly recommend them.

    SEARS DRIVING SCHOOL
We had specific requirements for my wife's driver training. My wife preferred a female instructor and we wanted this instructor to have a late-model, mechanically sound vehicle with dual controls. Also, since my wife has allergies, we required a non-smoking instructor who did not have pets. The man who answered the phone at the Sears Driving School number we found in the phone book was very courteous. We told him our requirements and where we lived and he suggested Mrs. Foote. He told us he would contact Mrs. Foote who would call us back. She returned the call within 30 minutes and made an appointment to come to our house the next morning. She arrived on time and met all our requirements. Mrs. Foote worked out very well for us. She has been teaching a long time and is very business-like, but she is also polite and very patient. My wife was very comfortable with her. She completed the course of instruction and passed the driver examination road test.
