    They're huge. They got everything you need. They've got specialists inside their system. They have a really good website. I get to know my doctor. He really email back if you have a question or something. They're really nice people. They're pretty good.

    I had my fourth heart attack on October 27th and I had a bunch of stents already in.  I figured my cardiologist will be able to put another stent in and I would go home the next day; but it turned out that all three of my arteries were 70% blocked and I had already had 10 stents in there and my cardiologist could not do anything else. So Dr. Joseph A. Lahorra his partner did a triple bypass for me on Halloween. He is an excellent surgeon. I would recommend him to anybody. My overall experience with him has been excellent. Regarding availability, he was excellent. They made the appointment before I left the hospital, I got there and I was probably only in the waiting room 10 minutes may be 15 minutes, had my appointment, they released me to drive and I was on my way home. I would refer him to anyone that needed a heart surgeon.

    My wife and I went to Paragon (Park West office) for our first pregnancy, and are using them again for this pregnancy. I want to start by saying that we are quite pleased with the actual medical staff, and that is the only reason we have tolerated the complete ineptitude and indifference of the administrative staff.
    For their own convenience, they choose to bill some services in a manner that keeps them from being covered by our insurance. Even our insurance company agrees that these specific services should be covered, but, if it is not coded and billed correctly, they cannot change how it is processed. I talked to Paragon, assuming it was a coding error, and asked if they could recheck and resubmit the claim. I was told, and I quote, and quot;We don't bill things incorrectly.and quot; I am a very understanding and patient person, but their refusal to even acknowledge that it could be their mistake took me aback. After I tried to explore the issue further, she told me that was just how they want to bill it, so that was the way it was.
    They do not offer reminder calls, and I feel like they may shift appointments to suit their schedule, without notifying people. At our last visit, at least two people came in while we were waiting (only about 15 minutes), thinking they had appointments at that time. They were notified that they were either very early, and would be waiting awhile, or very late, and would have to reschedule. Whether that is the case or not, this is the first health care provider of any kind we have ever encountered that offered no sort of appointment reminder.
    At the appointment before our last one, we had an hour wait in the middle of our appointment. We went back for our ultrasound, then were sent back to the lobby for an hour, during which time the office staff went home, since it had passed 5:30pm. Then we went back for a blood pressure check, weight, and 3 minute consult. Seemed like they could have found someone to do that in the intervening hour.
    At our first appointment with this pregnancy, they forgot to do my wife's blood work, and sent us to the check-out desk. As we stood there, I remembered, and saved us an extra trip back.

    He is very thorough and easily understood. I would recommend him to anybody. I used him previously for other things. My overall experience has been excellent. I got in right away, but I was referred by another physician. It made a difference. It is easy for me to make an appointment with him. His office is very accessible and very good. I did not have to wait for long to see him. He is not as good as some people are as far as his bedside or chair-side manner. He speaks in layman's terms so that I can understand. I would definitely use his services in the future.
