    The Basement Guys - Cleveland
Dennis is a fantastic worker, honest, knowledgeable and respectful. He worked quickly and was very neat. I totally trusted his ability and feel confident in his work. He answered all my questions and was so helpful; it's obvious he is a master in this business. I would definitely call him again.

    Sal's Heating & Cooling

First tech arrived on time , looked at hose bib and stated that the deal wasn't for a "frost free". My husband told him that it didn't matter, we would like it replaced with a regular faucet. The leaking was inside. He denied and left.

I emailed a complaint and was told that it was stated in ad that it was not for a frost free. It was not stated in the ad that I responded to. I didn't even know that ours was a frost free. Company agreed to come out and replace with a Shark Bite Fitting which has served us well. Thank you Roy and Robbie !!

    All American Basement Waterproofing
I found All American Basement Waterproofing to be a professional company that does professional work.  From the salesmen to the owner, to the actual installers, everyone was respectful and friendly.  They cleaned up after themselves and I haven't had any issues since the work was finished.

    LeakTight
Excellent company with excellent service!  This company was great from our first interaction with the salesman, to the owner and the crew.  They call when they say they will call, and show up and complete work when they said they would.  The crew was very hardworking and very pleasant bunch of guys.  The patio turned out great, and the crew cleaned up after themselves when done.
We appreciate the fact that they were so accommadating in getting my parents small patio done in such a short time.  Don't hesistate to use Leaktight, they are the best!

    Accurate Concrete Leveling
Accurate Concrete Leveling promptly scheduled the estimate, and contacted me the day after to schedule the work.  Everything took place in about two weeks.  The crew arrived as scheduled, drilled the necessary holes, raised the concrete with the cement/mortar mixture, then patched the holes.  I am hoping the patched holes will fade in time, but it doesn't look too bad as is.   The caulking on the crack isn't too pretty.  If I had it to do over, I might have skipped that step.  They did it at my request because I thought the crack looked too big.  Truthfully, I don't know which way would look better, but the caulking was  about $38 extra.   Raising the walkway to my porch was a good thing -- now the first step isn't so steep, and it's easier to navigate.

    Marshall Wright Construction and Roofing
I can't say enough about these guys. They are so good. Everything about them is excellent. They are professional and hard working. Their work is impeccable. It is priced according to its quality and worth every penny. I first used them a couple of years ago to fix our gazebo after a tree had fallen on it, and they did an excellent job then. We liked them so much then that we called them now to do more work. The garage is beautiful. They seem to be able to do everything and they really are excellent. We would absolutely use them again in the future.

    Ultra-Dry Waterproofing
I understand my tone was harsh but this has been a slowly growing situation. Here are some of the reasons we have for being upset at this point in the project
    1. The waterproofing took around 5 weeks to complete.
    2. The workers were only going to put up 2 layers of waterproofing and we insisted on a 3rd layer - as the contract states.
    3. Your salesman Tom told us that we would have river rock to back fill everything except the top 18". Only the top 18" would be topsoil. In reality there was about 3' of river rock and 4'-5' of topsoil. We had around 10 quotes from waterproofing companies. All of them but 1 said that there would only be 18"of topsoil. The one exception said he back-filled to ground level with river rock - no top soil.
    4. Your salesmanTom told us that all proper permits would be requested and any inspections needed would be completed.
We could not find any records of permit requests on the City/County website. If you have the permits please let us know and show us.
    5. After the work was completed we were left with a very large pile of dirt that we cannot get your company to come and pick up. We have been requesting that this pile be picked up since June.
    6. With all of the extra dirt that was used to fill around the house there has been a large amount of settling which caused the downspout
Drains pipes to separate from the downspouts - our downspouts were draining against the foundation wall. We called and emailed starting the beginning of June. We emailed and/or called every week for a month to get somebody to fix the drain and pick up the dirt. The company's response was that we were on the board. Then because of the settling and the lack of a response to correct the issue, the drain pipe disconnected from the sump pump which caused our basement to flood. We called the night our basement flooded and it was still another week before workers came out to fix the drain pipes. When the workers got here they said they didn't know anything about the dirt that needed to be picked up.
    7. Per verbal agreement, we agreed to put our wraparound porch back together ourselves in order for your company to agree to run the drain pipes to the catch basin at the corner. We agreed to this despite the fact that we thought the drains would run directly to the catchbasin from the beginning. We were told again by your salesman that you would tie-in to the catchbasin. I'm pretty sure that it's industry standard to use the term tie-in when you are directly connecting to something - not water running down the street.
    8. In addition, we told the workers that the brick paver patio did not need to be put back because we didn't want the pavers behind the house. It is in the contract that you would put the patio and wraparound porch back. We have saved your company many labor hours and money by making these changes.
    9. Now, with the settling of the dirt, our chimney has shifted/fallen and looks like it may fall soon.
    10. We were also originally told that you could do the waterproofing and drainage without going through our sump pump. This was the main reason we hadn't signed a contract with anybody yet-we didn't want the drain water to come into the house.
    11. We didn't find out until after the project was finished and the work crew had left that the workers had been urinating on our stack of paver bricks in the yard. We could see the stain on the bricks and could smell it.
    12. While the chimney issue is recent, all of the issues combined have culminated in giving us a feeling of untrustworthiness with your company. We do not have faith that you will make an effort to correct the problems we are having.

    Construction and Remodeling Experts
I have had Construction and Remodeling Experts do work for me in the past and have always been more than satisfied.. In the Fall I was selling a rental home which they had worked on before. I found that I needed the basement waterprofed, another contractor wanted to dig around the foundation and charge me a lot of money. Mr John Deel came out an said because of all the heavy rain, it was just leaking a little bit, they waterproofed my basement with a couple coats of waterproof paint, that corrected the problem an saved me about 5,500$ . I had them put some siding and a new roof and gutters on the garage with what I saved. They did a fantastic job, I sold the home about two weeks after they completed the work. They were always on time, tried to advise me the best ways to save money. They were neat and always cleaned up each day two of my neighbors were so impressed with the workmanship that they also got new roofs. I would recommend this company all day long to anyone in need of any kind of home remodeling. They are honest and fair in pricing..

    Pioneer Basement Solutions
They arrived with 4 workers and used a jackhammer to breakup the concrete around the perimeter in the basement.  They removed all the concrete and replace it with gravel and new concrete.  They did an excellent job of blending the new concrete into the existing floor.  We had tile down in some areas and they took the time to ensure that there was a clean break along a row of tile to make it easier to lay new tile.  They cleaned up after they were finished and left the place cleaner than it was to start with.  I have absolutely nothing negative to say about their service.  I would highly recommend them.
