Insurance Agent reviews in University Heights

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • They never answer the phone; they do not return calls, they do not answer emails...
Then they contact you to know if you want to buy more services from them...
    Really???

  • Fitzgibbons Arnold is a full service agency..  They have key people in house to serve their clients in areas of personal, auto, claims, business, bonds, claims and etc.  One phone call and you are taken care immediately.  There is no waiting.  The presentation when delivering the binder and policy is great.  I have overcome my fear with dealing with an agency from the far west side.

I  recommend Zach Arnold of  Fiitzgibbons Arnold to any one looking for a full service insurance agency.

  • My experience with the Allen Thomas Group was absolutely horrible.  The Allen Thomas Group is a broker - who works with several insurance providers to get the best rate from the providers, so the Allen Thomas Group is a broker not a provider.

When setting up my home, auto, and umbrella insurance policies with the actual insurance provider, the Allen Thomas Group set up my account wrong such that when my mortgage company sent payment to cover the 1-year premium for my homeowners insurance, the insurance provider spread that amount over all three accounts (without my knowledge or approval).  When my first bill arrived for what I THOUGHT was for my auto policy, it was outrageously expensive and I asked the Allen Thomas Group why it was so high - but they did not respond to several requests for clarification.  I think before the first payment was even due, I received a cancellation notice from the insurance provider cancelling one of my policies - and I contacted the Allen Thomas Group again.  Their response was "we'll take care of it" - and that since they got a payment I wouldn't get another bill for 3-4 months.  I followed up with them to verify that my next bill would be for the auto policy, and they indicated that it would be - so I was surprised when my next bill arrived that it was outrageously expensive for only auto, so I sent an email inquiring why it was so high for auto - and no response.  After several more emails from me that weren't responded to, I decided to cancel my auto policy, so I sent the Allen Thomas Group my cancellation notice for my auto policy (which ended up going to the person who was responsible for my account, but no longer worked there) - but there was never a response back for that cancellation.  Now, finally, after another cancellation notice from the insurance provider, do I wonder what is being cancelled because I had already cancelled the auto and my home policy was paid in full by my mortgage company - and finally on Nov. 1 the Allen Thomas Group explained to me that they set up my policy incorrectly from the beginning and the payment from the mortgage company was NOT used to pay for the home policy in full - AND my home policy lapsed back in September when I stopped paying (because I thought I stopped paying for the auto policy).  At the end of the day, because the Allen Thomas Group set up my policy wrong back in January, my homeowners policy has lapsed and they have already sent out a new bill to my mortgage company to re-start a new policy as of October, even though my mortgage company paid for a policy through January.  And the Allen Thomas Group has refused to admit it was their fault in setting up the policies wrong - even though the insurance provider even said that it was the Allen Thomas Group's fault.  So now I have a lapsed homeowners policy as well as payments that have been applied to an auto policy that was never cancelled.  I will never have a policy written by the Allen Thomas Group again, and I would recommend avoiding them for your insurance needs as well.

  • Kaiser performed about any medical services imaginable. The only disadvantage to Kaiser is that they are not located all across the country. You might have to get treatment at someplace that wouldn't have access to your medical records. The upside is they are absolutely wonderful. They eliminate paperwork and I have rarely had to wait to see a doctor. If one wasn't available they sent me to one that was out of their system. They have excellent facilities. They worked in the same building as the Cleveland Clinic and medical care doesn't get much better than that.

  • I have been working with this agent for nearly four years, and things have gone smoothly. I had a homeowners claim (a leaking roof) earlier this year, but I have a high deductible so I decided not to submit it. When I called to discuss the problem, everyone was professional and very helpful.

  • Agent came out to the home after we responded to an advertisement about life insurance. We ended up buying a couple policies from the agent, not all Hartford Products. Slightly confusing process, since we ended up with products we didn't actually start looking into. Both will actually be canceled soon, because of previous plans changing and getting new plans elsewhere.

  • Our Western & Southern registered representative Aaron Peck did a great job explaining all the pros and cons of the various policies we had and were looking at. Continued old policies and purchased new ones.

  • LOCATED IN TEXAS BUT EVERYTHING IS DONE AT NO COST TO YOU; TOLL-FREE PHONE, DOCUMENTS SENT AS NEEDED. ALWAYS VERY PLEASANT & HELPFUL, EAGER TO SETTLE CLAIMS QUICKLY IF NEEDED. SOME OF THE COMPANY'S SERVICES ARE ONLY FOR ACTIVE OR FORMER MILITARY, OR THEIR FORMER DEPENDENTS (IE MY DAD WAS IN THE MILITARY). I LOVE THIS COMPANY!
