  Mike M. was very helpful in diagnosing the problem. No other roofing company, including one that was top rated on Angie's list, figured out the issue. Mike surmised that the issue was as it looked and advised me to do a simple repair myself that I could do. He then advised a gutter redesign, which cost a modest amount. The other companies had proposed complete overhauls of my porch area, costing more than 10x what Mike proposed, missing the actual problem, and setting us up to waste a great deal of our already existing work on our porch area. I am grateful that Mike and Home Exteriors took a conservative and affordable approach. At the same time, the gutter redesign was smart and has worked well so far, shifting flow away from the problem area. The new gutters also are as we wished and were done quickly and competently on a very hot day.

  Keselman Construction rebuilt our home after it was seriously damaged. They tore it down to the studs and replaced everything, from the walls, to the siding, to the roof, to the floors, to the electrical system. It was a huge project, and a worrisome one. We wanted a safe home to return to, but we also had a limited amount of time and energy to devote to the project. I cannot imagine going through this with any other construction company and feel very fortunate to have had their help. Zach, Tony, Vitaly, Dave, Tony, and the whole crew were a pleasure to work with. They were each, as one of their references said, ���really good people who know their stuff.��� We could fully count on each of them to do their best for us, and take full responsibility for their work, to work cooperatively with us, to be fair and honest, and to be reasonable and flexible, to be kind, and to be knowledgeable and professional. Zach said that we would get a schedule of the work to be completed each week, and would be notified when it was done. And that is what happened. Vitaly was our project manager. Throughout the duration of the project, there was always someone working in our house and tasks were completed on time. Everyone Vitaly brought into our house was friendly, professional, and did high quality work. Vitaly earned our complete trust and while we could have been as involved as we wanted, we were able to leave the details to him. We mainly made decisions about what should go into the house and what it should look like and for that we had the help of Channi Zwick, of White Edge Designs. Channi fully understood our goals for the house���s appearance and helped us realize all of them, a difficult task, because we had something very specific in mind but didn���t know how to get there. Vitaly and Channi guided us through the rebuild: they helped us make the many decisions in a timely manner and kept us within budget. We have moved back into our house and we know it is safe- it has passed a number of inspections with compliments from inspectors. It is also beautiful beyond our expectations. Everything was completed expertly from the doors to the floors, to the molding to the paint to the tile to the lights, to the faucets. The house is full of wonderful design choices we would have never thought of ourselves that make the house comfortable and easy to maintain. Channi���s excellent taste and the Keselman Construction Group���s excellent workmanship show in every corner of the house.

  K Guard Leaf Free Gutter Systems

  I contacted K Guard (Dun Rite Exteriors) to inquire about gutter guards. My house has half-round gutters, not the standard white aluminum gutter types. Turns out, K Guard (the product) requires different gutters than my house has. The choice then was to (a) replace all the gutters and then install K-Guard, or (b) install an alternate screen product. I went with (b). The salesman came out, measured and quoted in one visit. The installation was estimated to be +4 weeks out and was scheduled after I committed to the project. Scheduling was handled professionally and the crew ended up being available to come out earlier than promised, about 2-3 weeks after I paid the deposit. Install took a couple of days for the 400 linear feet of gutter screen to be put in. They also cleared a blocked downspout pipe. Other than a few short screws and a few debris scraps left around the perimeter of the house, the crew did a good job cleaning up the site. I had a couple of follow-up items that were addressed quickly. While the price for this screening to be installed was very high in my opinion, the quality of work was good and this is a larger company with bills to pay. I've seen the same screening advertised in other places (like the coupon mailer packs that come to my house every month), but I never bothered comparing prices. These guys were professional, available and they showed up when promised. Not some fly-by-night outift. I'd hire them again.

  It was a pleasure working with Keselman Construction since the moment they stepped inside our house. They were respectful, responsive and reliable. There was not a problem or issue they couldn���t fix. The quality of their work was outstanding. A big shout out to our project manager Petr. His postive attitude and calming presence made our first remodeling project a success. Petr went over and beyond his duties to help us and he made sure that we were totally satisfied with their work.   I called to get an estimator and everything seemed great - very professional, etc. An estimator was supposed to come out and provide a quote. After a couple of weeks with no contact, I called on 10/12/18 and their number has been disconnected.

  I was given a quote of $420.00 over the phone. I had to ask for a written estimate. The final materials cost $46 and the labor cost was $368. The job estimate was based on a 24 X 24 garage. First day on job, the workers came after 12 noon. I was told that they would arrive at 9 AM. The owner does not show up. Three youth were sent to do the job. The youth played for the first half hour. One side of the garage was done correctly. The other side was unprofessionally done. The workers left the wood that was removed in front of the garage with the nails facing up, wood between by garage and neighbors garage, and left a water bottle in the driveway I talk to the owner and initially he responded in an unprofessional manner. He called back and apologized and said that he will come out and check the job. On Friday of the same week, he came out to check our the job and acknowledged the poor craftmanship on one side of the garage. The following Wednesday, three more youth came to do the job around 2 PM . I rescheduled the job because it was a bad time and date. The youth called the owner and I talked to the owner about the reschedule and ask the owner if he measured the garage. He said yes. I mentioned that my garage measurements were 20 X 20 and not 24 X 24. The next day, the owner and 2 youth come to complete the job. The owner comes out to remeasure the garage. His measured the gutter length which was 21.6 ft. Originally, he stated that his labor was $4 a foot. Based on the new measurement, the labor costs change. The labor to rehang the gutter was $4 a foot and labor to replace the wood was $50 per 8 foot piece of wood. Originally, I was told that labor cost was $4 a foot for rehanging the gutters and replacing the wood. Overall, I was disappointed with the whole ordeal.
