    Green and Clean Home Services
I had raccoons inside my house from the chimney, the technician was very professional and friendly and covered the chimney and cleaned it. I'm very happy and will recommend to use them. Initially I needed to reschedule my appointment because of personal issues and they were very understanding. Well done!

    Ohio Exterminating Solution
I have no serious complaint about the attempt to catch raccoons. That is a hit or miss situation. The fact that a cage from the attempt is still on my roof isn't cool. The process of capping the chimneys was very odd to me. August 10, 2019 a quote was given after a visual/on site inspection. Sadly, by August 24th - 31st the equipment needed to cap two chimneys were not located and not financially prudent to pursue. I am miffed on how this wasn't known on August 10. Okay, fair enough - even if odd. My patience was awesome. All texts and calls back and forth were professional on both sides. Kudos. But I feel like there was too much lag time between some of the communications. I understand a worker had a sudden death in the family. I added extra days in the process for this sad occasion. It was then that I learned that if you start with team A and a sudden and sad event happens, work is not passed onto another team. At least, that is what the worker told me. A refund for the uncapped chimneys was issued as I write this review. I called today to confirm that fact and to advise that the cage is still on my roof, but I got voicemail only. I am not sure if the rep got tired of my calls and texts, but as I had stated back on August 24th - I just want some communication. I also believe if you tell someone that you will be over to do something, stay true to your word. I have to accept some of the blame here becuase I did not get more than one quote. I believe all the men that I communicated with are good men. I only have their words and actions to judge by. I hope my words do not come across as mean sprited, that is not my intent. I am a good, hard working comsumer who will always need good, hard working contractors/businesses.

    Keselman Construction Group, Inc
Keselman Construction rebuilt our home after it was seriously damaged. They tore it down to the studs and replaced everything, from the walls, to the siding, to the roof, to the floors, to the electrical system. It was a huge project, and a worrisome one. We wanted a safe home to return to, but we also had a limited amount of time and energy to devote to the project. I cannot imagine going through this with any other construction company and feel very fortunate to have had their help. Zach, Tony, Vitaly, Dave, Tony, and the whole crew were a pleasure to work with. They were each, as one of their references said, really good people who know their stuff. We could fully count on each of them to do their best for us, and take full responsibility for their work, to work cooperatively with us, to be fair and honest, and to be reasonable and flexible, to be kind, and to be knowledgeable and professional. Zach said that we would get a schedule of the work to be completed each week, and would be notified when it was done. And that is what happened. Vitaly was our project manager. Throughout the duration of the project, there was always someone working in our house and tasks were completed on time. Everyone Vitaly brought into our house was friendly, professional, and did high quality work. Vitaly earned our complete trust and while we could have been as involved as we wanted, we were able to leave the details to him. We mainly made decisions about what should go into the house and what it should look like and for that we had the help of Channi Zwick, of White Edge Designs. Channi fully understood our goals for the houses appearance and helped us realize all of them, a difficult task, because we had something very specific in mind but didnt know how to get there. Vitaly and Channi guided us through the rebuild: they helped us make the many decisions in a timely manner and kept us within budget. We have moved back into our house and we know it is safe- it has passed a number of inspections with compliments from inspectors. It is also beautiful beyond our expectations. Everything was completed expertly from the doors to the floors, to the molding to the paint to the tile to the lights, to the faucets. The house is full of wonderful design choices we would have never thought of ourselves that make the house comfortable and easy to maintain. Channis excellent taste and the Keselman Construction Groups excellent workmanship show in every corner of the house.

    Century Chimney Sweep Inc
A Century Chimney camera inspection of the chimney in our 90-plus year old house revealed badly deteriorated flue tiles. The damage -- which made our fireplace too hazardous to use -- was beyond ordinary repair and required the installation of a stainless steel liner. Century installed the liner, insulating it with Thermix; parged the smoke chamber; installed a new damper and crown; and performed all the necessary grinding and tuckpointing of the masonry. The chimney is tall (about 27 feet) and the liner job was challenging. Owner Gary Spolar was onsite for the daylong job. He and his team really know their stuff. In addition to being experts, they were also punctual, responsive, friendly, and thoroughly professional. Plus they left the site clean, inside the house and out. The work was done in September 2018. We've used the fireplace multiple times since then and it works perfectly.

    Century Chimney Sweep Inc
Guys came to clean and inspect chimney. Interactions up to the day of work were fine. Bob was responsive and helpful. However, once the guys came to our house it all went off the rails. First off, it seems like like they just had an agenda, pointing out multiple and apparently fatal flaws in the chimney. The only solution for this was a $6500 chimney liner. Sensing how potentially important this was, we called in two additional and independent contracts to inspect the chimney. Both of these guys basically said "the chimney is fine." Old houses like this are riddled with issues and there are always risks, but they were minimal and there are ways to mitigate risk that don't involve this $6500 liner. I think Century Chimney used dramatic pictures of cracks in mortar to play up what is essentially not a big deal. Oh and by the way, the first guy we called in for a second opinion had to do a complete chimney clean, saying he wouldn't stick his expensive camera up our chimney without it... so one of the main things we hired Century for - cleaning - doesn't appear to have been done well at all.

    Sauers Chimney Service
When I found my old chimney hood on the ground I called Blake Sauers, expecting him to tell me that I needed a new hood. He came out soon after my call, and reinstalled my old hood , good as new. Blake is a knowledgeable, courteous, pleasant young man, a pleasure to do business with. I will certainly call him again if I ever need any service with my chimney.

    Zemco Roofing & Repairs Inc
Mr Zemba is a professional. He works to the highest standards of skill, problem assessment, punctuality, and materials. He approached our repairs with full knowledge of our problems (on a rather delicate clay tile roof), and applied the very best solutions. He did not take any kind of shortcut. That is, he knew what he was doing and applied that knowledge to our repairs. He showed up on time with all of the necessary tools and materials in hand, assessed our problems, gave a bid for the repair costs, and immediately went on to complete the job. Prior to the date of service, the business office, Zemco, Inc, responded promptly to our initial phone and email inquiries, and in consultation with us set a firm, and near date for their service visit. Zemco, Inc provides outstanding support and scheduling (Zemco Roofing & Repairs Inc: 440-951-1466; zembab@sbcglobal.net)

    GOOD KNIGHT'S SWEEP
I couldn't be more pleased with Scott, especially since I have had to deal with unscrupulous home repair people since buying my house 20 years ago. From the start I could see that he was a true professional. He was prompt to the agreed time to assess the job. After agreeing to the work and very reasonable price, I didn't have to worry about anything. He showed up on the designated days and did his work as promised. I had a dog on premise that was nervous around strangers and he took the time to put him at ease. I was not on premise while he did the work and there were no issues when I returned. -- If your in need of chimney work no need to call anyone else- I highly recommend Scott!

    Rustic Slate Roofing
I have used Rustic Slate roofing a few times now for slate maintenance, new gutters, and gutter cleaning. Each time it has been easy to get a meeting set up for a quote. This year Bela came out to discuss the work. He then he emailed a detailed quote, and we set up a time window for the work to happen. The day the crew came out they did all the work very well and left with everything cleaned up nicely. They replaced some broken slates, updated some flashing, did some paint work on my chimney, cleaned the gutters, and removed some algae from my siding. Bela has a first class operation - easy to work with, friendly, and provides great work. I'll call him again next time for the TLC my slate roof needs.

    Chimney Cricket Inc
I advise you run, don't walk. The sweep tried to sell me several services which I did not need as I found out later with a second opinion. His office e-mailed me a proposal for $4,000 worth of work which was totally uncalled for. The second opinion revealed I wasn't told the facts. As far as the sweep work, he left a bit of a mess, forgot to vacuum the floor and left his glove. I had to clean up after including the glass doors.
