Carpet Cleaning reviews in University Heights

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • We were long overdue for a good cleaning of our carpet in bedrooms, hallway and stairs. Seth worked very hard to get the carpet clean, spent a lot of time on it, and did a great job. He was thorough and wanted to make sure the job was done to our satisfaction.

  • I think I got $30.00 off the first time I used them.  It was the same service.  I just got a first time customer thing.  Another A+ experience.  They arrive on time, they're very friendly, extremely nice.  They come in and they're efficient; they do the job in a timely fashion and it's always high quality results.  You don't have to worry and also, it's a natural solution if you want to get your carpets cleaned, instead of using one of these old school, chemical carpet cleaning companies.  It leaves your carpets smelling like fresh citrus which is kind of nice.  I think their price is an A+ for the quality you receive.  I think it's a little higher than your normal industry, but it's definitely worth every penny because I think it's a higher quality result.

  • The owner, Seth, arrived promptly. Vacuumed before beginning steam cleaning. I had moved all of the small furniture out of the way before he arrived although that was not a condition of the job. Due to massive destruction/construction across the street from my house the carpets had accumulated a lot of dust. Carpets came cleaner than I would have expected. While he did not bring it to my attention, I realized I had short-changed him, neglecting to include my small hallway in the price. I paid him the difference for which he was very grateful.

  • The service man was very professional and personable. He was able to remove stains from the carpet. He also arrived and performed the work in the time frame agreed. He was very thorough and even moved and cleaned under some items that a previous cleaning company had not.

  • I would not recommend CleanPro to anyone. They came, rushed through cleaning our carpet, and left. But they did not clean the carpet. We ended up hiring another company that used the water extraction method - spraying hot, soapy water on the carpet and immediately vacuuming it up. This left a much much cleaner wall to wall carpet immediately after CleanPro's visit - and the water used was almost black with extracted dirt. My wife and I believe that CleanPro also damaged our carpet with the spinning pad. Afterward, the carpet showed twisted pile strands from the floor polisher. CleanPro, of course disputes this - they would not admit it because of the liability. However, we noted a difference in the way the carpet looks from before to after this process. Some of the carpet's appearance came back after the second cleaning (water extraction method), but not entirely. Before you use CleanPro, I suggest you visit Wikipedia and read what they have to say under "Carpet Cleaning". CleanPro uses the bonnet method - they vacuum, then spot the stains, lightly mist the carpet, then use a floor buffer machine to spin a wet mop over the surface of the carpet. Wikipedia says it cleans the top 1/8" of your carpet. I don't think CleanPro did even that much for us. If you want only a part of the carpet cleaned, then perhaps this company is for you. There is no comparable method to CleanPro's for cleaning fabrics - everyone washes clothes with copious amounts of soapy water, rinses and spins to rid the fabric of excess water. Then the clothes are either air dried or machine dried. CleanPro's website for prospective franchise purchasers is full of big words, but short on cleaning. Even "dry cleaning" uses plenty of fluid to loosen dirt, float it away, and then dry the clothing. CleanPro's technique is unique to them. If it was so successful at removing dirt, wouldn't there be thousands of these guys out there? Can you imagine placing a cherished sweater on a flat table and running a floor buffer with a wet rag on top of it? Do you think that would clean your sweater without causing pilling and damage? Don't take my word for it. Ask to see them in action. Look at the carpet before they start and afterward. Do your own due diligence.

  • Went well. Received a call one day after the Big Deal was purchased to schedule. Was able to schedule for the same week. Tech called the morning of  to set a 2 hour window for arrival. Entire process took @ 1.5 hours. He left in a hurry before I could inspect. Afterwards, I noticed a couple of areas I would have asked for him to go over had I inspected before he left. Overall a good job and I would use again. Great price!!!!

  • They are always excellent and polite. They come when they say they will. They are really good to work with. They always do a little bit more than they say. They left some extra cleaning fluid for us so we could clean up some spots without calling them again. They're very competitive. Their quality is excellent. They're right on time. They are wonderful. I would absolutely use them in the future.

  • A cieling in one of the kids bedrooms fell. I had the cieling replaced and the room repainted. After the work was done we had them come out and steam clean the three bedrooms.
The Main bedroom was empty of furniture and some of the stains were pretty bad. My wife commented the workers seemed very rushed and that although cleaning the room quite a few of the stains remained.
The other two bedrooms had some of the larger furniture pieces remaining. They cleaned around the furniture and when I looked in the room under the one bed there were still "dust bunnies" present.
They seemed to be more in a hurry to get out and complete the job than doing an effective one. The house did not feel as "clean" as I would have hoped after performing this service.

  • Our plush pink wall to wall carpets hadn't been cleaned for years. There were many extra dirty spots, and areas where dog had urinated. The 2 gentlemen took their time, pret-reating all, and methodically cleaned all, while moving furniture away and back.
Polite and professional. A family owned business for many years- it showed!
    Would recommend them to everyone!

  • First I must say I am so pleased with the rug after cleaning! These people can really clean rugs. It only took a week and the rug smells good and looks oh so good. It had not been cleaned in about 10 years and they even got some old wine stains out of it. I am very pleased with the cleaning.

However not so pleased with the delivery. After bringing in the rug myself I decided to have them bring it back to me because it is heavy and I am fairly old. So they called on Wed. and said they would deliver between noon and 3 the next day. Wonderful. Well, they came at 11:30, rang the front bell and no one answered because we were in the back yard. So they left. I called them at noon to get a better idea of time and was told that they already came and left. They came early. I asked if they could come back and they said no. The only time I could have it delivered was a week later. I went to Arslanian Brothers and picked the rug up myself. They deducted the 25.00 delivery charge. Since they came at the wrong time I though they should have come back. Also it seems that they could have walked around to the back of the house and knocked there. Many times people's doorbells do not work. We were in the back yard and would have known that they were there to deliver. We were in the house at the agreed time.
