    Brian Stephany MD
Brian Stephany, MD only sees patients who have had kidney transplant. I have found him to be extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer questions without being condescending.

    Neuro Spine Care
I am not sure how to rate this facility and doctor. They do not seem to have their procedures for pre certification in order. Several calls about a request to my insurance company went unanswered. The person answering said the pre cert was submitted on a given date, my insurance company who it very good at making quick determinations said they never received it. I asked that it be resubmitted twice now, and no phone calls returned about this situation. I am not very happy with their lack of follow throught.

    Bluett Integrative Health
Dr. Bluett has helped our family in so many ways. She digs deep into health concerns to find the cause - she doesn't just treat the symptoms. Amazing!

    Center for Orthopedics
Dr William Stanfield is outstanding. I cannot take ANY pain medication except tylenol. Three other ortho surgeons refused to help me because of my medication allergies (opiates and non-steroidal anti-inflammatories, and surgical steel). He accepted the challenge and the results have been life changing. I can't say enough about him. Literally can't think of a negative comment.

    Biglow, Dr. Kimbely A
Dr. Biglow is the Best. She takes the time to listen and to answer your concerns. While going to the doctor is not something to usually look forward to, she treats you as you would want your closest loved one to be treated.

    Ault Chiropractic of Hudson
He did an exam, took x-rays, and a scan of my spine. He gave a thorough explanation of what was causing my pain (mild scoliosis, misaligned pelvis, and the beginning of bone spurs) and recommended a course of treatment. He is friendly and informative with a great bedside manner. He actually referred me to his wife, Rebecca, for treatment since we have a mutual interest in working with women of childbearing years. Dr. Rebecca did an excellent job mapping out a course of in-office treatment and at-home exercise and consistently asked me about sleep, diet, and other lifestyle factors as a means to improve my health. She was thorough in her treatment, but the goal was for me be pain-free and then see her only as needed which ended up being every 3-4 months. Later on, I found out I was expecting and saw her through the pregnancy and had a fast and relatively easy labor (after several long and difficult labors with my other kiddos). I also take my kids (ages 10 down to 2 months) a few times a year to boost immune function and (for 2 of my kids) treat mild spinal curvatures that would develop into scoliosis if not treated. She is great with all of my kids. The office staff is very friendly, even when I walk in with a bunch of little people. :) Late morning and late afternoon appointments occasionally run late, but that is typically due to patients being late. My only complaint is that Dr. Rebecca isn't available every day at the Hudson office (just Tuesdays and Thursdays at the writing of this review), but she can't be everywhere at once.

I couldn't be happier. As an above knee amputee (AKA), being able to work with a qualified prosthetist was one of the most important factors I worried about when making the decision to have my surgery. This is, out of necessity, an intimate, lifelong relationship. And it's important to "click" with that person. "My guy" and I clicked immediately. After two appointments, though, I learned he was only in the nearby office temporarily and was heading back to his home office, nearly an hour away. That didn't matter! I gladly make that trip as often as necessary. And because he works for Hanger, there was no paperwork or referral necessary for me to switch offices. Hanger worked with me the better part of two years without seeing a dime. They cannot bill a patient until the final "product" is delivered. In fact, Hanger lent me the basic components so I would at least have "a leg to stand on", literally! I could walk okay with it, but they knew there was a better option for me, and were willing to work with me until I reached a level of improvement at which the insurance company would approve the better components. I now, FINALLY!, have a great, Plié 3 microprocessor knee and graphite foot that makes it easier and, more important, safer for me to walk, on level and unlevel surfaces, up and down stairs, pretty much anywhere! I wouldn't have gotten this kind of attention from a small, local company. I knew with my medical history I'd be facing more barriers than a typical amputee. I knew I'd need to work with a company that had the resources to help me. I also knew working with Hanger would be important when I travel, as they have offices in all the cities I visit. If I need an adjustment or replacement part, it's just a phone call and short drive away, and I won't have to deal with referrals or insurance forms. I love to support small, local businesses, but when it comes to healthcare, and my complicated history, I stick with the big guys when I can. No matter what the personal cost. (I used to drive or fly from MA to D.C. to see my orthopedist!) I cannot recommend Hanger strongly enough. I hope you never have the need to see a prosthetist but many of you will need a splint, brace, or orthotic (shoe insert) and Hanger provides all those services as well. One of their VPs is the prosthetist who designed and fit a prosthetic tail fin for Winter, the dolphin who starred in a movie about her injury and his solution to help her swim. Disney made a movie about it, A Dolphin's Tale (or Tail, I don't remember which!). So if you or anybody you know needs the help of an orthotist or prosthetist, you cannot go wrong by using Hanger, the company founded by the first amputee casualty of the Civil War!
