  • The doctor is not an M.D. . She is mostly interested in setting up recurring appointments (bills) than listening or helping during the appointment.
    UH's billing department delivers a lot of shocking surprises. First, they bill the wrong code, which made the insurance company decline the reimbursement. Second, when I called them to correct the code -- which they kindly agreed to, how nice -- there was never a follow-up about the correction for months. Third, when I was still waiting for the updated, surprise, the same bill came admonishing that they will send you to a collection agency. There is no transparency in the billing whatsoever. 
    Overall: 
    Appointments/ Treatments :  Very unhelpful. Mostly interested in setting up recurring bills.
    Billing: no transparency. Bill the wrong code. Never corrected it. Threatening to send to collection agency. Go figure.

  • These were companies that he has dealt with and could recommend. The company I chose did not come up when I did my own search on the Medicare.gov site so I appreciate the knowledge that Vince provided. Vince was also helpful in the enrollment process. I had my coverage by the time I needed it to start.

  • They have a representative that calls on a regular basis just to check on us and to inform us on the new things that they have. They are very particular with health improvement. For example, we have a fitness center here and through Humana we were able to avail of the "Silver Sneakers" program which allowed us to take part in the fitness center with a free membership and that allowed us to use all their facilities.

  • The doctor, part of Glick urology with the Cleveland Clinic, was bad. It was one office visit and they still haven't got the billing correct in ten months. They have collection agencies calling me and they keep sending me bills when I don't owe them. I call and tell them and they say, that's right, you don't owe it, but then they send me a bill and then a collection agency calls me.

  • We get really good access to the care. It does cost more to meet the pharmacist, but sometimes for the first prescription it's the best option. They can explain to you what's going on. It's been good.

  • It’s a big practice and my doctor is on the bottom floor. The pediatrician is on the second floor. I have been really happy with them. Their pediatrician just left the practice and we are in the process of finding a new one in that practice. It’s a huge building. They are always able to get us in right away if my children are sick or even when I am sick. They usually get us in within a couple of hours at the most even on Sundays and Saturdays. They have normal office hours on Saturdays and they have certain hours on Sundays. So, you don’t have to go to urgent care or the emergency room, which is nice. It could be more expensive to go to the emergency room or urgent care. They take major insurance. Even when we switched insurance, they still took it. I would definitely use their services in the future too.

  • I felt, compared to other clinics that you were given a lot of time and no more. They denied insurance claims more than other clinics did and the resolution of the insurance problem was less likely to happen, which was the big factor for people everywhere. I would not use them again.

  • I am very well satisfied with them. I have used other companies in the past and I have always gone right back to Kaiser. I have used them for 20-30 years. My experience has been perfect. My husband had Alzheimers and no one could have given him better care. They have good doctors and they listened.

  • I obviously like them and that's why I stayed with them throughout this period. They have referred me to specialists and I've liked them too. Appointments are easy as well, because I get them when ever I need them. I like the HMO concept at Kaiser, and have been happy with the entire experience.

  • They have a great over the counter selection that is at a great price. It is great that I do not have to make an extra trip to another store to pick up my vitamins, aspirin, etc. They have a mail-in service for my regular prescriptions, I can renew my prescriptions over the phone with a credit card, so I do not have to mail anything in and waste a stamp.
