Overall good experience. Contacted the company and they had a quote for me in the same phone call. They explained the product and the installers were out a few days later. Both guys that came out were very knowledgeable and very friendly and efficient in installing a new water heater. Keep up the good work!

We have used Cary for several years. Unlike others in the area, you get Cary, the owner, he knows your home and so you never have to explain where this and that is etc. His prices are fair and now that I am a widow I know that he will continue to be fair and honest and not take advantage as some would do in my situation.

On 11/13/13 we had a generator installed. I was advised they would be at the house between 7:30am and 8:00. They did not show up until 8:30am. I had stayed to let them in the house because my job starts at 8am and I was late as it was. They were polite and I did not feel afraid to leave them alone in my home. We went over where the unit was going to be placed and they had some concerns, but then stated that it would work ok. Took them downstairs to find out they did not bother to find out what type of breaker box we had so they did not bring the required items to complete the install. Thankfully we did have what they needed since they said it was not something they stock. We went over what breakers to install on the generator and they stated they had it under control and I got ready to leave. At that point they gave me the bill and said that since they used our parts they were not going to charge us the extra charge for how far the breaker box was from the unit. (we were aware we may have an extra charge). Came home and everything looked great.
On 11/17/13 I came home at 3:30 pm and everything that was wired to the generator was not running. The rest of the house was fine and I went down stairs to the breaker box and there were no directions as to what to do in any situation. (they did not tell me the day of install, he said it was because I was at work but I advised they had my cell phone and I just worked down the road).  Called my fiancé' who has more knowledge about electricity than myself. He advised me to do a couple of things and that did not work. I tried to call all phone numbers that were left on the bill but all I got was voicemail. I left messages and then sent an email stating that even though we have power to the house the generator is running. I finally got a call from our sales man who is also the president of the company who walked me through taking the cover off the generator breaker and trying to trip the system. He told me which number was the one that would shut off power to the breaker and away I went. I did everything he stated and it didn't work. Eventually we did loose power due to the storm that night. We left the generator run and I got super tired and feel asleep around 6:30 with tornado warnings going off around us. At 8:30 I got a call from neighbor who asked why our generator is running when we have power. I went down stairs and the exhaust fumes were horrible. My throat burned and I had trouble breathing. Called fiancé again and asked how to kill power to everything. He said to do what I was told from the salesman and while I was standing in front of the breaker it caught fire. I screamed for my daughter to get out of the house and she hobbled her way out (she is on crutches). Thankfully I knew how to use the fire extinguisher and was able to put the fire out. Opened up the house to try to get the fumes out from the generator and called the salesman again who then said that I was crazy. I told him that I was not crazy that I am perfectly aware of knowing how to see a fire. I asked him what he was going to do and he said well there's nothing he can do right now it's 9pm. I flipped out. I called the fire department to come check the house to make sure the fire would not restart and they were flabbergasted as to how there was electricity to parts of the house with a fire in the breaker box. They checked and thankfully no CO2 levels detected. Salesman calls me during this and asks if I want him to come out. Told him he was the last person I wanted to see. He said they would be out first thing around 7:30-8am... guess what... not there till 8:30 and had the nerve to ask how I was doing. They stated they have never seen a fire like this happen and are unsure of what did happen. One issue is that he told me the wrong breaker box number so I was working in a hot breaker box having no knowledge of what I was doing, second he told me we were lucky I shut everything down when I did because if we had gone to bed with those fumes we probably wouldn't have gotten up, and I asked for reimbursement for the fire and loosing a day of work and he had the nerve to tell me since they moved the generator that cost a lot of money they weren't going to charge me for. They had the opportunity in the beginning to tell me where it was placed would not work. They had the opportunity at the time of install to properly label everything. And they had the opportunity to come out on a Sunday afternoon to see what was wrong instead of causing a fire in my home. And they are not aware of the fact that while they were working on the breaker box I was sitting upstairs and could everything they said. Heard them say that the problem was that it was not properly wired. That something was missing a wire and another spot didn't even have marks showing that anything was done to it.
I will say they were super quick to get out and install the unit and they did do it in 4.5 hours, however if they had taken more time with the install they might have done a better job. At this point with the lack of concern over an emergency call and knowing that it's a women home alone with a child in the house... they do not care at all. I believe his concern was more about if I was going to sue him than our safety. If safety had been his concern he could have come out or sent someone.

Did a good job of installing the 2 new light fixtures.  However, it took twice as long as I was told it would take for the installation.  Asked for an estimate and when I got the bill it was higher than anticipated.

I called Tiffin Deluxe at about 6:00 pm on a Sunday Evening about water coming out of my yard. Due to a previous problem in the same area, I knew exactly what the problem was, a cracked water line coming into the house. Being that it was not during regular business hours, my phone call was directly routed to the owner of the company, Mr. Chris Ranieri. He asked me various questions about what was happening. He told me that since the break in the line was before the meter in the house and since there was no water leaking into the house, he would suggest just letting it go until morning. This would save me the cost of an emergency call on a Sunday evening and also would allow an abundance of day light for his crew to work in. When Mr. Ranieri's crew arrived on Monday morning, they got right to work at uncovering the broken water line. When they reached the water line, they determined that a patch in the line would not be adequate enough to solve my problem. The existing water line was about 30 years old and very brittle. Mr. Ranieri contacted me and suggested that I replace the whole thing, back to the service valve, or I would most likely just keep having the same problem over and over again. I asked Mr. Ranieri if he would allow me to pay in monthly installments, as I did not have the money to do such a repair at that time. Mr. Ranieri, told me that monthly installments would be fine and we agreed to start the work in a couple of days. The work was scheduled to begin on Wednesday morning. I left for work on Wednesday morning and the job was complete by the time I arrived home at 4:30 pm.

We are having Mike Gibson of Gibson Family Construction remodel the kitchen, bathroom & add a new master bathroom in our 1916 Greek Revival home in Tiffin, OH.  The work is still in progress but we are very pleased so far.
The kitchen is a complete tear out to the studs with replacement/additional windows, moving/changing of doorways and old layout, drywall, wiring, flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc.  The wiring is being done by another contractor.
So far we are very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work.   We have changed our minds back and forth on a few details, and Mike has been good humoured and patient about it.  He remains objective while pointing out the pros & cons of our suggestions, (and making recommendations as needed) but is respectful of our ultimate decisions.
We live in Tiffin's Historic District, and Mike is sensitive to the historic aspect of our renovation.  His work is precise, thoughtful & esthetically pleasing, and so far has been completed in a timely fashion.
We have a dog & he is tolerant of her in the workplace too, which is very important to me.
So far I am very pleased with Mike's work, and I will update this post as the work progresses.
We both recommend Gibson Family Construction without hesitation.

The contract and estimate did not match up at all, contract had very very small print that contradicted our verbal agreement and it was to his advantage.
Did not show up when he was to, and would not refund the 50% deposit.
DID NOT coordinate or pay AEP Ohio Electric Co. for the underground wire charge, and it was part of the estimate/costs.
he was to drill holes in floor joist to run new wire through and did not, we have all kinds of wire going every where.
He DID NOT MARK the electric box breakers to match what room or appliances it went to, Did not run correct wire load to stove and had to pay another electrician to do so when he would not return to fix his error.
He told us we HAD to have a certain electric wire for electric dryer due to code and Tiffin Ohio has no code and does not require the wire he stated and charged us twice what the going rate was at that time.
He mounted new electric box on old ugly wood ,
He was to put electric box in back corner of our basement and did not, it was to be close to the meter outside to save us some money and stay with safety rules. He put the new box approx. 30-40 ft from the electrical entrance into the home. Should of been equal to or less than 15ft for the costs to be lower as per agreement.
.One day he pulls up to our home and I saw him so I could not figure out why he was here, he was not to be here that day. I went to the bedroom window and caught him messing with our AC unit.  When we went to turn on AC did not work, we were told someone had removed a part that should not of been missing and it just does not fall off the unit ans the unit worked when we went through home inspection.   He is the only person to touch the AC unit prior to the Heat/AC provider to our home to see why it was not working. He was NEVER hired to work on our AC unit.!!!!   Where did the part go?  It took special tools to remove the part.
I have called him to come back and fix some of his errors, major error with stove wiring to new electric box. Lucky we did not have a fire.  he would not return call when msg. left having issues with his work and safety was of concern.
When I confronted him he had his lawyer send me a letter stating  verbal agreement does not have to match small print on contract.
He also says he is a Christian and uses that to manipulate and get the job!!  A true Christian does not have to tell others they are Christian, it shows.

He was reasonable. He would show up at midnight if I had an emergency. He is personable and he knows his stuff. He even gave me four cartridges at no cost. I have no complaints with him. He is quick to get back to me. I have put him on as my all-time electrician and I won't call anybody else.
