  • Company was very responsive to my needs.  In the process, they discovered that my underflooring was soft and needed to be replaced.  The additional cost was minimal and the value to me was considerable.  Very good attention to detail, especially with the grout.  We are very pleased with the service and the product and would definitely use Calvetta Brothers again.

  • From start to finish professional experience. Matt and Bob installed everything, to perfection, as judged by that most critical of observers, my wife of 50 years. The price was reasonable for the quality received.

  • He is coming back next summer to strip and recoat the family room floor.  He went beyond our contract to add matching floor vent covers, a new dryer vent, toe molding, and two new shut off valves in the laundry room. He explained any questions I had as he worked without complaint and was very easy to get along with. I already recommended him to a co-worker and she is having the same thing done in her house.

  • First day or so, good, then when the sub floor was installed it was not level, requested a smooth ceiling, came home from work and the ceiling was textured, the salesman contact  statement  was : It's not even done yet and that's how we do our ceiling's!
explanation from the foreman was: because of the pre-existing ceiling it had to be textured and the floor the same as far as leveling, the owner(OHI) made the statement in order to do a smooth ceiling it would've had to been gutted, I stated, then why wasn't I told this before you accepted the job, there was no apparent answer accept well we've gone this far, don't worry we will make you happy.
1.The back splash does not meet the bottom of the raised counter, but according to the O. H. I., that's the way it should be.
    2. The main counter top is high  on the rear left corner by a .5" therefore throwing off the level and the so called "that's the way it should be" gap between the raised counter and the main counter back splash, O.H.I. stated " Well we can't take it out now", so they put a black molding under the raised counter to cover the issue up.
    3. The right side  top cabinets are not squared to the soffit
    4. the NEW counter tops have minor scratches
    5. They are in the process of replacing three of the cabinet doors that are of poor quality
    6. Refinished wall surface next to sink is poor and obvious.
    7. One day after textured ceiling was completed it was cracking, repaired upon request
    8. Clear silicone on counter top seams is not clear.
    9. I requested that they should purchase a dust bag for the vacuum they were using because my other two rooms with antique furniture was covered with dust along with everything else
Overall every time I questioned them about  the issues at hand they preferred to make excuses instead of sticking to O.H.I.'s
My impression of O.H.I.  as far as a motto is, promise just about everything to get the job, rush to get it done, and have the home owner sign the documents and pay you before the owner really  thinks about   the final outcome
I did ask the owner of O.H.I., before I signed and paid him, do you think your workmanship justifies this amount of money I'm paying you, his answer was "somebody else would charge more", and yes I think it does.

  • We bought our carpets from Classic Carpet Inc and we are pleased with them. We went to them and ended up buying from them. We got the vinyl flooring for the bathroom from them also. The price was a bit higher but the quality was good. The labor was excellent. They did an excellent job. The carpeting was fine and it was installed in one day. They came on the day they agreed to come and there was no damage to wood work or anything. If we were going to need carpeting, we would use them again.

  • They were very polite.  They worked when they said they would.  They were flexible.  I had broken my foot, and we had to postpone the work.  They were great about being able to do that for us.  The crew that they sent out was meticulous.  They cleaned up the mess and helped us put the furniture back.  We were quite pleased with their work.  It was a positive experience.  We will be seeing over time how their work holds up.

  • The entire process could not have gone smoother. We originally met the owner and his son months ago to get an estimate for a flooring repair at another property.  We ended up not being able to hire them for that job, but they had been so helpful an responsive that we kept their card in hopes of hiring them in the future for our flooring needs. The last piece of our recent family room project was the carpeting.  We went to D & S with our colors and met Peggy who showed us all of our options throughout the store.  She was most helpful without being pushy.  She explained the pricing and the entire process.  Once we made the deposit, they ordered the carpet, and when it came in they called for an installation date, accommodating our busy schedule by doing the job on a Saturday morning. On the morning of the installation, they arrived 5 minutes early.  They came fully prepared with the carpet already seamed together.  They took less than an hour and a half to do the job and did a fine job of cleaning up when they left.  The two man crew consisted of the owner's son and another experienced installer, both of whom were very experienced and professional. All in all, if you are like me and would rather use a smaller family shop than a big box store or a large volume flooring store, this is the place for you.  They are friendly, helpful and very professional.

  • I was happy with the work done by Mr. Droman. However, his attitude was pretty negative and he repeatedly made comments about how the work would only be as good as the house in which it was being done. He also told me that I needed a husband and I needed to clean out my garage. The work was fine, but I could really have done without the commentary.

  • They work with you. Any changes I wanted to make, they made immediately. I was kept informed every step of the way. They adapted everything to my needs. Very good people to work with. Two men did all the work; it wasn't subcontracted to this person or that. I would recommend them.

  • Ray Nutter from Apple came to do the measuring and estimate. He spent at least an hour measuring, answering questions, and giving me good ideas. Lowe's delivered the materials directly to my home on time, and Apple showed up 15 minutes early for installation, ready to work. Four excellent craftsmen showed up and went to work quickly and cleanly. They were neatly dressed for the work, pleasant, and skilled. In 8 hours they had taken out coving, laid the floors, installed molding, and cleaned up wonderfully. Two workers returned the next day (as scheduled) to finish molding detail. I would hire this team again in a minute. The floors have been down three weeks and are great. They took great time to work on detail on the molding. The little things make the finished job extra-special.
