The day worker was always polite, on time, and willing to discuss plans and progress. we originally only wanted to hire them for the plumbing piece, but their ideas and professionalism caused us to hire the whole project. The foreman was often on site for consultation and to provide oversite. The job took one extra week because of a holiday interruption, but the progress was clearly spelled out at the beginning and was completed on time. The demoing of the old tiled walls and the installation of the new soaking tub with tiled apron looks beautiful! the new flooring as recommended by the foreman is attactive and warm to the touch, unlike the previous ceramic tiles. The owner-provided faucet and fixtures posed some problems, but the foreman and worker made them work nonetheless, with full deference to our desired locations.

    Arnolds Home Improvement
I was referred to Arnolds by a co-worker. It started off well but by the end of the remodel, I was less than satisfied. The tiling on the wall was no level throughout the rooms. Some tiles were sticking out away from the wall and many were not flush with other tiles. How can some tiles fit flush and others not...on the same wall? I got a run around answer but....was never offered to fix and make better. During the remodel I asked the lead worker if he would ask his boss about the additional cost for putting up a light fixture and quarter round around the wall and floor juncture. Rather than contacting his boss he said he would do the work for a "good tip". I agreed and did give a nice tip. 3 to 4 weeks have past, he has still not come back to complete the agreed upon work. I can't even call or text because the number is now a non working number. At the end of the remodel, I had to wipe down the tiles to remove mortar and compound from the wall. Learn from my mistake and I hope your experience is better than mine.

    Harrison Floors

We needed a crew to install a bamboo floor in our family room.  The two men who showed up were professional and quick.

They hung plastic between our family room and kitchen to minimize dust.  After installation they explained the best way to care for our new bamboo floor. Since it was a small job and we were going to do all the prep work (pull up old carpeting and molding) they were able to fit us into an afternoon slot.  Unfortunately the reason I gave a "B" for promptness was that they did not show up on he day promised.  We finally got a call in the early evening explaining that the main installer had been extremely sick and the remaining crew wasn't able to get to our job that afternoon.  This was understandable but we would have liked a call earlier to explain.  To their credit they showed up early the next morning and got the job done fast. We would definitely use them again!

    Total Quality Construction Ltd
They do great work and are very professional.  When they vented the bathrooms fans through the attic to the outside one of their workers also fixed the attic screens which at one side of the house had come loose and some birds made a nest. They did not charge extra for this.  The workers are always friendly, they clean up after themselves and the work preformed is excellent.

    Grounds One
Jacob, the owner, came to our house to give us a quote on a small kitchen remodel. WE NEVER HEARD BACK. I called the company twice to see what the status of our quote was.  Someone from the company called me back and stated that they were behind in getting quotes done. That was 2 months ago and haven't heard anything since!  I have now had my kitchen remodeling project on hold for two months waiting for them to get back to me on a job that they came out to quote back in September.  I cannot tell you how unhappy I am with their service.  I would NOT recommend them to anyone.  Now I have to start this process all over again.  It is beyond frustrating.

My mother has used them too, and they have always done a very good job. The owner is very particular, and the stain wasn't perfect, so he redid it. Everything looks wonderful. It really looks nice. Everything is functioning perfectly. They did get the work on time, we were pressed for time. The workers are very courteous and they clean up after themselves nice and neat. I can only say good things about them. It took them 4 or 5 days to do the bathroom. The pricing is very good. We compared with other places and services.

    WS Design
It went awesome.  I highly recommend this company for your next project.  The entire staff was great to work with and continuously were checking in on the project.  They helped us figure out some design or color combinations that we were struggling with at certain points of the project.  We used all colors they recommended in the kitchen, mudroom, adjoining dinning room and living room.  It all ties together with the kitchen as the centerpiece.
There was so much work to do that it took about 2 months start to finish.  This was a complete gut job, down to the studs and moving some walls.  They also redesigned the adjacent mudroom.  When we started the design aspects I could not envision the final product.  We put our trust in WS Design and it came out much better than we could have imagined.  Especially all the little features such as end plates on the side of the cabinets that dress them up so much, under cabinet lighting and crown molding.  As we watched the progress it just got better and better.

The cabinets that we put in are Waypoint 700 Series cabinets with all wood box construction.  All drawers and cabinet doors are slow close.

They put a new bathtub in and a new drain. They out in those toe drains in. You;re supposed to touch it with your toe and its supposed to open and close. When they put it in, it wasn't draining so they came in and they snaked out that drain. There was some kind of tissue holders just jammed in the pipe. That really wasn't their fault but I think with all the snaking and everything, they broke the tub drain. I called them up to check it. It took me awhile to do it, probably about three or four months. The guy comes out and look that up. He said its not a big deal. I'll just go to the store and get a new one and put it in there. I couldn't find one to match that, that is my problem with them. He really was not receptive to replacing that drain. Otherwise, it was alright. I will probably not use them again.

we had a major remodel job in our small bathroom we expanded into the closet to add more room to the bathroom we put a new walk in shower, toilet, vanity, light fixtures, medicine cabinet , floor ,new drywall , painted as well as closets made . They bascially redid everything the plumbing all redone the vent had to be moved in the wall as our toilet moved to opposite side of the room to make bathroom more workable for what we wanted . Mike was very easy to work with and helped us get the bathroom we wanted in the space we had to work with. Also we had a closet moved and remade on the bedroom side of the bathroom came out very well. Brian was our guy he did all the remodeling he was great to work with and did very good work . we love our new bathroom had a pocket door installed and the door frame widened he did a custom job to make it work the door and frame. The plumbing all redone works well. Dave was the plumber. The thing that most impressed me was the honesty of all the staff including the office staffSuzanne and Barbara everyone was so very nice ready and willing to take care of any concerns we had.I knew when I met Mike he was honest and would make sure the job was done right and if we had concerns he wouldtake care of them and he did.The other thing I appreciated was being told if a unexpected issue came up for example when the wall was torn off there was no insulation rotted wood under a window i was shown the problem told the price to fix it and then it was my decision as to what to do. it was fixed. New Horizon Remodeling & Building Company LLC
Cass and his team did a stellar job on my kitchen and laundry room remodel. They took out an existing ceramic tile floor, and installed a new tile floor. Replaced the countertops with new Quartz countertops, installed a new stone and glass backsplash, LED undercabinet lighting in three locations and painted the entire kitchen. In addition they installed two new wall ovens and a gas cooktop with downdraft venting into the island. They also installed new shoe moulding in the kitchen and laundry room. Cass predicted the job would take 3-4 weeks and it did.
His crew was very professional, neat and respectful of our house. There were no surprises at all cost wise, as he provided a very detailed estimate of exactly everything that was to be done, and that's what he did.
The old floor had 1 1/2and quot; of concrete underneath the tile, so the demo took more time than anticipated, but there was no extra charge for that. So, with the new Durock underlayment, the new floor is about 1/2and quot; lower than the old. This created a problem with all the door casings (19). Cass had a great solution. Small wood plinth blocks at the bottom of each casing. They look great, and create a high end, classy look. The upcharge for that was very minor (under $300 total).
I highly recommend New Horizon for any remodeling project!
