They are really good. They sent out a guy to my house with the actual equipment and he gave me demonstration and everything like that and they did the needful. They do prescriptions too. I get help from them all the time. They are very professional. They try to be courteous about things so we have to be courteous back to them like don't try to order supplies the same day and if you get supplies the same day that's how good they are but try to order in advance. I get diabetic supplies there and it is cheap and the prescriptions are cheap. They have medical equipments like pap machines and like that. They give demonstration of that stuff. Their cost is always effective and they always take any kind of insurance. I had a local insurance and they would work with that. They are just professional and all the time very good. They are cheaper than other places.

The docotrs there are outstanding. They are very consciousness. They explain the circumstances with what is going on very easily. They are cutting edge with the technology since they are associated with the University. It was a good experience.

I don't recommend them. If there is a problem, their hospital is not equipped to deal with it so they would have to send him to another hospital. I felt there was a misrepresentation by the people that I dealt with. You go to the emergency room and you have to wait for hours.

I went to the ER with stomach pain and nausea.  I was taken back surprisingly fast.  The nurses and aides were friendly and professional.  The physician assistant--I'm sorry I don't remember her name--diagnosed me with acute appendicitis.  She had great bedside manner.  The doctor came later to confirm the diagnosis.  He was typically harried as ER doctors are prone to be.  I had a CT scan, doubly confirming the diagnosis.  I was wheeled into the OR shortly thereafter.  The anesthesiologist was super friendly.  The surgeon did an excellent job.  The recovery room nurse was super friendly.  My experience on the med./surg. floor wasn't quite as nice.  The floor nurses were kind and helpful.  However, there was a lot of noise, as apparently there was construction going on.  The food was mediocre.  The real frustration was how long it took to get discharged.  The doctor wrote the order, but the administration strung me along for several hours, with no good reason.

Things got off to a bad start during the admissions process and got worse from there. My records indicated an "unknown christian" religious affiliation even though I left the church in 1971. At no time have I ever discussed or been asked by anyone at Promedica about religious affiliation. I found this entry very offensive. When confronted with this biased misinformation, Flower claimed no such entry had ever been made.      During post surgery while two nurses were attending to me, a doctor on Flower's mental health staff burst into the room unannounced, without giving her name, and informed me that I had been "referred" for treatment of depression. I became angry about this and asked who made the referral. She refused to give me an answer and I therefore, refused treatment. The gratuitous lack of privacy in this situation was astounding. Once again, Flower's response was to deny that this ever happened.        The morphine IV drip had a very limited effect on me. On the sixth day the floor LPN asked me about the level of pain and I told her that it wasn't getting any better. She asked if I wanted to be disconnected and I told her yes. No alternative pain relief was offered by her and at this point in time I really didn't give a d***. The level of pain did not get any worse after being taken off the morphine. Draw your own conclusions about its worth.     Six weeks after release, my e-mail started to be spammed once a week by Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC for donations to their cancer research center. I have never had any previous contact with MSK before this. Both MSK and Promedica denied either selling or having received information that identified me as a cancer patient. What a surprise. I filed a HIPPA complaint with the Civil Rights regional office in Chicago but they refused to respond. I suspect that this is just another example where government oversight has been bought and paid for by those toward whom that oversight was to be directed.    One thing I did find out while researching the Hippa law is that patients are not allowed to review any of their mental health files, notes or records, no exceptions. Those of you considering mental health treatment might want to reconsider before throwing yourselves to the wolves. Good luck with that. I'm sure the shrink will be honest enough to tell you that right off the top.

I want other people to know that they can go to this hospital to get their hearing aids. They are very accommodating and listen to what you want. There are three different doctors there so you can go to any of them. Also, if you are just going to get hearing aids then you will need a referral from another doctor to just purchase them there. I was very pleased with my experience and the hearing aids themselves.

Because I received high recommendations on this doctor, I decided to get an appointment. I’ve been there three times, and each time I’ve only seen the nurse practitioner, and never the doctor. In the meantime, I got this terrible rash. The nurse practitioner told me it was Cellulitis. I went to a walk-in clinic & the doctor there took one look at the rash, and concluded that it was Mersa. When I called to set up an appointment for the doctor, I kept getting told that I have to speak with the nurse practitioner first, and I was never able to get an appointment with the actual doctor.
