    I was with him for several years and I really like him. I did not get him off Angie’s List, but he is on there, but he does not take insurance. That can be problematic in this day and age. He is still a great doctor. I would recommend him for people who can or choose to go to him who do not need to use their insurance or choose not to. He is an integrative medicine. He is a full pledged MD and an internist. He is also an integrative practice doctor and there are a few in far between of those in Columbus, Ohio. He is not one to push medicine. He is great about lifestyle changes, very holistic. He takes his time with people. You are not rushed through there. If you need the time, he is going to take the time with you. He listens. It is kind of collaborative instead of the doctor talking at the patient, it is like a discussion. That I really appreciate about him. It is not a long wait, but sometimes longer than I want to wait. We were not going around with insurance. It was just in and out. There were a couple of times there were some miscommunications aboutif I needed to come back for a follow-up visit or if I were to get a call from the doctor’s office about a test result. That was not always a hundred percent. It is hard to say because I do not think it was him. I do not think he was the issue with that at all. It was more of the office. I would use him again if he decides he is going to take insurance. We had a really good discussion about that and why he does not take it in and I fully understand why he does not because I am in the health field myself. His fee is reasonable to go in for a visit. I just decided with healthcare cost as they are that it was not going to be workable for me anymore.

    I have seen Dr. Gibbons twice. He spent a lot of time trying to convince me that nothing is wrong with me. He also doesn't like me seeing more than one gastroenterologist. I have not been helped.

    Dr. Im "knew" I had pneumonia. He gave me an antibiotic and sent me for an x-ray. The x-ray cost me over $400 and I didn't have pneumonia. I ended up going back a couple of weeks later because I was still sick and he gave me another antibiotic that worked.

    The first I went to him a couple of years ago, he "knew" I had a goiter and sent me for an ultrasound. That cost me over $600 and no goiter.

    We started going to him because we thought he was more of a holistic provider, but when we're sick we're always given an antibiotic. I believe he does have the knowledge to be more holistic but after the first one or two visits with him, he no longer has much time to talk or answer questions. Very rarely does he see me without me waiting a long time in the waiting room and then again in his office. It seems like this office has a high turnover rate and the service is "iffy".

    1. I've gone here for years and have held off from writing this review.... The good news is that appointments are handled promptly. However, the office staff has - VERY LITTLE PERSONALITY and semi-adequate response rates. It seems like it must not be the most pleasant place to work, since there is continued and REPEATED TURNOVER IN NURSING STAFF. I encounter a new nurse EVERY time I go. (literally, I have had a new nurse EVERY time I go). At my last appointment, the administrative staff and quot;misplacedand quot; my specialist's incoming fax. AND, they were late in getting test results to my surgeon. I have, for years, tolerated the sub-par and unfriendly administrative staff only because of the doctor. The funniest part is that for YEARS there is always a NEW sign asking that patients be and quot;patient with the office staff for learning the new system(s).and quot; I'm sure a new sign will be there if you go. :-)

      Dr. Calland is very very nice and I've gone here for years because of HER, and her only. She communicates fairly well and is a good doctor. In regard to the rest of the whole experience...don't expect and quot;warm customer serviceand quot;any warmer than what you get via the recorded telephone message. I don't appreciate having to and quot;promptand quot; the staff to get what's needed in a timely manner. The administrative staff are glued to their chairs and phones and combined have a sub-lukewarm personality and could use a class or two in true customer service.

    From walk-in to end of exam, everyone in office was courteous, capable, informed, thorough and honed in on me personally! Never once did I feel rushed, or ignored, or treated less than a whole person. Fabulous caring and competence!!!!!

    First appointment with the physical therapist, the therapist was not the one with whom I made the appointment. This was disappointing as I was traveling over the next several weeks and hoped to have my exercises to take with me. I did have exercises, but it turned out that the more inexperienced PT had emphasized exercises that were not compatible with the level of treatment needed. When I did have an appointment with the correct PT, everything went much better and progress was made- frustrating to lose any time in a recovery situation

    I have been seeing him since 1990's.  He is a very caring physician, which we don't get to see anymore.  He is never in a rush.  A lot of doctors are in a big rush to get their patients out of their office to go to the next patient.  He never does that.  He always has a time for his patients.  He sees if there are any problems or things need to be addressed or anything the patient wants to talk about.  He is the best.

    Dr. Everhart is what I would consider a and quot;good old fashionedand quot; doctor who takes time with his patients, is patient, and a good listener. While he does not accept insurance for payment, the fee for service is reasonable for me. He also provides services that are considered to be integrative, meaning he will utilize his knowledge, experience, and training in modalities other than traditional, accepted Western medication--supplements, homeopathy, etc.--as he deems an appropriate treatment for the patient. Would highly recommend for those who can afford to pay for services out of pocket.

    My overall experience with them was fine. I like that they give you online access to your records, and you can look up on your lab work. They email you when your lab work is done, and they also email you what you need to do.

    Having the surgery, the expectations were, on my side, that there was going to be extensive endometriosis and extensive adhesions.  Both of these were true.  The surgery seemed fine, but they were unable to control my pain.  It was an awful experience and I hadn't had that in all my previous surgeries, probably about 20-25, with other surgeons, over the years.  I got up to my room and was in excruciating pain that I just laid in one spot over night.  The next morning, I was still in excruciating pain and had to call the charge nurse to fix the problem.  Apparently, Dr. Mini wasnt responding to them concerning my pain management.  I had to explain to them that perhaps a pain pump might be effective, as well as changing my pain medication.  It was an awful experience and Dr. Mini can't be trusted to take care of you while you are in the hospital post surgery.  I didn't see her at all and only saw her partner, Dr. Uma Ananth, only after requesting that someone come in and take care of me.  Dr Ananth seemed to know a little more of what was going on and I trusted her for a short period of time....
    When I was finally released from the hospital I wasn't pain free and went to Dr. Mini to continue my care.  She wasn't only hestitant to take care of me, she acted like it was a personal affront that I didn't find complete healing immediately after the surgery.  Additionally, her staff was incompetent to care for me or understand a message or forward a message or return a phone call or do anything right for that matter.  She was unprofessional and sometimes outright rude. I requested someone else to act as Dr. Mini's assistant for my phone calls and even though I was accomodated, it was a delay everytime I called and could easily be compared to a circus. 
    Fortunately, I was familiar with what was acceptable care and what wasn't.  I was also familiar with appropriate customer service and what wasn't.  This was a major wreck, and I wish I had seen it in the very beginning but because I was suffering and in pain, I was hoping that she was all she appeared to be.
    The end of this story is that I requested to see Dr. Ananth, her partner, who also scrubbed in and was familiar with my particular case because she also came to see me in the hospital.  They denied my this privilege saying that their policy is that if I was seeing another doctor in their practice that I couldn't change.  I was also told that since I didn't have anymore female parts for them to take care of (ie a full hysterectomy) that they wouldn't be able to help me anymore.  So, I was basically kicked out on the street.
    So that last year and a half, I believed that, and wasn't able to find a doctor to take care of me. It's been a little more than a year since the surgery and I am having the same pain I had prior to going into surgery but I have had a time trying to find a doctor.  Dr. Mini did me a real disservice.  She just dropped me on the back door step since I wasn't the "normal" patient".  It's a horrible situation to be dumped while you're still having symptoms and then realize that the surgery didn't work a little more than 12 months later. 
    Don't waste your time here.  Also, DON"T DO THE DAVINCI!!!!!  You are put upside down so that there's minimal blood flow but they aren't tender and sensitive as I experienced a bump on the head that was unexplained.  Also, had extensive numbness in my arm due to being upside down and apparently laying on it the whole time.  Like when your foot falls asleep?  Same situation but it was numb for several days, with no explanation or excuse or apology.  God forbid we take responsiblity. 
    Don't go here, she won't take care of you if you have problems before during or after.  If you are the perfect patient, then by all means, take your chances.
