    I've used this company a number of times and I've never had an issue. A more recent experience solidified my positive opinion of them. I noticed that my relatively new tires were wearing oddly and I had no traction on wet pavement. One call to them resulted in a warranty replacement due to defective equipment. They're dealing with a major issue now and having to replace tires due to no fault of their own. If you're in the need of tires or auto service, please go to Boyd. They deserve our business and I hope they survive this current challenge. Westerville needs companies like Boyd.

    The radiator hose replacement seemed to fix the problem with coolant leakage.  However, a few weeks after the hose replacement, an off-and-on problem with coolant leaks re-developed.  Initially I just dealt with the problem as it was so sporadic.  However, once the problem became more persistent, I returned the car to the shop.  Another cooling system inspection and pressure check was done, and the hose was adjusted and its clamp tightened.  Hopefully this has put the problem to rest !   Note : This was done at no charge / under warranty. In general, the shop seems to be competently staffed and quite busy, which is usually a sign of good service.  Also, they do a general vehicle inspection whenever they service a car, providing the customer with a detailed list of their findings.  While some may be put off by this, and decry it as "up-selling" services, there was ZERO pressure to do anything beyond what I desired.  Fact of the matter is, this is how all auto service departments work these days, whether it is a dealer service department or an independent.  I did find it interesting that they found my spark plug gaps to be over spec ... GM must have missed this when they were installed on the assembly line.  : )

    My check engine light was one for no apparent reason. Bill ran the diagnostics and five codes showed up. He investigated each one and didn't find any problems. He thought there might be a problem in the programming so he ran an update. Not only did the check engine light turn off, my eight year old car runs better than it did when I bought used from a dealer.

    I have recently moved to Grove City and my car needed major work done.  I looked at the Grove City Town Money Saver and found Bill's on Broadway then checked on Angie's list (as I do with all services and purchases) to find an "A" rating.  Which is rightly deserved.  Bill called with the estimate and gave me options.  The car was finished when promised but due to my work schedule could not pick it up.  He gave me the option to pick it up after hours but I was unable to do so since I needed a ride.  I did not have a way to do so being new to the area.  His wife (shop manager ?)  was kind enough to pick me up.  When I got home and looked under the hood I was pleasantly surprised to find an very clean engine compartment. I have had work done on my cars over the years and can not think of one time that my engine compartment was cleaned.  It was cleaner than I left it. They will be my go to shop when other repairs are needed!

    They did a fine job of replacing the radiator when I detected leaks. When I got it back, I did get some fluid level warning lights, but they immediately got me in the next morning and topped off the fluid (sometimes bubbles surface after the radiator is refilled)

    There was no heavy sales pitch nor did they try to get me to come in and charge unnecessary costs.  They took the time to ask questions to make sure they would able to help me with their area of expertise and in the end, it was determined that another shop would be better suited for my needs.  I really appreciated the honesty and time they spend with me and would recommend them to others.

    My experience went very well.  My vehicle was overheating as the radiator had a hole and two of my fan assemblies were not functioning allowing for a build up of heat.  I did price the repairs competitively and Westerville Automotive was very competitive.  Most importantly, they seemed to be the most knowledgeable and kept me abreast of the situation through regular communication. As my vehicle has a substantial amount of mileage and age, there are always small things that could be done on a preventative basis. Westerville Automotive was very helpful in advising what to do as opposed to spending monies unnecessarily.
