AOur house is a center hall Dutch colonial built in 1925 with a boiler and steam heat. The boiler needed to be replaced so we considered upgrading to a forced air furnace and air conditioning. I called 3 HVAC companies. Central Heating and Air Conditioning was the first to respond to my call. Stewart Unsdofer (president of Central) came by the next day to look over the project. He quoted us a price that was very reasonable and we decided to have Central do the work. Greg and Brandon were the installers. Both worked methodically and efficiently throughout the installation. They were always polite and courteous. Duct work had to be installed in the basement and attic to service the first and second floors, respectively. Greg and Brandon were careful to keep any disturbances in the rooms to a minimum. They took pride in their work and were very meticulous about it. When the installation was complete they showed us the operation of the system and what maintenance should be done. I was very happy with the work Greg and Brandon did and it was a pleasure working with them. I would highly recommend Central Heating and Air Conditioning for similar installations.

CAfter 2 hours of failed attempts to run and replace a severed wire using the existing path, the solution was to run through the laundry chute. Though I was sympathetic and appreciated the attempts, the end result in hour 3 was an exposed wire that was then shut and frayed by chute door. After expressing my concerns as part of an uncomfortable conversation regarding what I saw, the wire was ultimately put though the wall and chute. An expensive fix.

FCompany indicated that technicians would wear a mask (Ohio currently has a mask mandate), and while the technician arrived wearing a mask, he had it off when he came back upstairs to give an update. He indicated that because he couldn't breathe in mask he would not wear it downstairs. He was not able to perform the work expected while wearing a mask inside the house, so he offered to find a technician who does not have mask-related breathing complaints. However, when I called later, Gorjanc only offered next available appointment, which is a month out, despite the failure being on their end to render services safely during a pandemic on my original appointment date.

AIt went great. I have an older unit that had condensation built up in a pipe, which caused water to leak out onto the basement floor. Then the pipe to the humidifer came loose spraying water close to an electrical outlet, which made it an emergency. I had made an appointment with a repair service I used before when we first noticed the leak, but they could not get to us until next week. I called A C Plumbing at 8 this morning, and they had my A/C fixed before 4 o'clock. They tried to come sooner but I couln't leave work until the afternoon. My repair tech was courteous and experienced, and he was able to fix the problem for just the cost of the service call. I was very impressed and the next time I need service, I will call them first.

AThermostat issue turned out to be user error. Tech didn’t charge for service call even though he had made a special trip to Home Depot to purchase a similar thermostat in case it needed to be replaced. Technician was very pleasant and polite, wore mask and shoe covers before entering the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to call on them again.

FThese guys are the absolute worst plumbing service! Maybe because I have Home Serve as a protection plan on my water line so I wouldn't be paying the bill, but my experience with this company was absolutely unacceptable! I had an appointment on a Friday morning for my shutoff valve (the main coming into my house) to be replaced. When scheduling the appointment I was told someone over the age of 18 needed to be present. I had arranged for my sister to be there, however she was running late so when the repair person came my niece who is not quite 18 was the only person home (that's my fault I couldn't be there and my plan to have my sister be there didn't go as planned) The technician came in my house, acted like he didn't know what he was there for ( I know that the problem I was having was noted by the secretary so they would know what to do since I wasn't going to be there) He shut my water valve off, then asked my niece how old she was and when she told him she wasn't 18 he said I have to leave I'm not allowed to be alone in the house with you. Left my main water valve turned off and left my house, so I had NO RUNNING WATER in my home. I received a call from dispatch and was informed the technician was unable to complete the work and was asked to reschedule, I explained what happened with my sister and let them know she was at my house so whenever someone could go back an adult was home. I was given an appointment time of 12pm-4pm that day, at 4pm no one had showed up, I called and was told "we didn't have you on our schedule." I called Home serve and was given a further run around. Saturday I called and eventually someone called me back asked me what had happened the day before, said he needed to talk to the manager because he didn't know what to do they didn't have any appointments available ( this is the company that offers emergency appointments and I haven't had running water for over 24hrs) several phone calls later a manager calls me and sets an appointment for 8am-12pm on Sunday. At 1145am I called him to say I haven't heard from anyone he says someone named Roger was coming, but that he would call and see how long he would be and call me back, NEVER CALLED BACK and NOBODY SHOWED UP. I paid for an emergency call with another company to get my water valve turned back on after over 48hrs with no running water. I will never do business with this company again and I wouldn't recommend anyone else use them either!
