  • This was the largest project we've ever done, and we are very happy with Pride's work. Both bathrooms were original from the 1970's and required full guts. The kids bath is a tub and synthetic materials, the master bath has a walk-in shower with marble countertop, floor, shower walls, and a tiled shower floor. Everything came out perfectly. We also had an open master closet which has now been walled-off, and a linen closet door re-done. The house also had several walls throughout that needed to be mudded, which Pride helped us with too. Pride is very good with communicating the progress of work, asking about decisions that pop-up during the project, and pre-approval of additional costs. The whole project took about 5 weeks, and most of the cost shown here was from the materials- Pride's pricing is reasonable. The only downside was that the master bath came out so well we view it as a work of art and not a place to poop and scrub off dirt and sweat, so it has been 4 weeks and we are still afraid to use it.

  • After installation, screws holding the screens on the bay window were stripped. The main window after 8 years has something wrong with it and Champion's warranty and service is terrible. After calling, I have waited 3 months now and no window. They keep giving the same story, it's finished but hasn't been delivered. Plus I have to pay 99 dollars to have them fix it. I know other Window companies is a true lifetime warranty, if it is broke they come out right away for no cost. My parents had to get new windows in their house and I made sure to tell them not to call Champion.

  • We were very pleased with this project from beginning to end. We were very pleased with the range of finishes offered and grateful to have a sample of the finish we chose provided to us. The sales representative, the estimator, and the carpenter were all very professional and great to work with. They were great about informing us when each activity would take place so that we could plan around them. Our carpenter, Scott, is a true craftsman and was pleasant and courteous to have working in our home. He kept us posted day by day of what he anticipated would be completed during the day and when he hit a couple of snags, he immediately informed us so that we always felt like we were knowledgeable of progress. He worked such that he was the least intrusive as possible and we could carry on with a pretty normal life while the work was being done. One thing we really appreciated was his cleaning up after himself at the end of the day. We did not feel like we were living in a "construction zone" during the completion of our project. At the end of the project we were very pleased with the result and are really enjoying working in our "new" kitchen! What a transformation! We would highly recommend American Wood Reface.

  • We replaced our existing Marvin windows with new ones. We spread the work over a couple of years and were pleased with each of the installations. The work crews were professional and did an outstanding job. Staining was done by a subcontractor and was also done in a very professional manner. We are very happy with our windows and would highly recommend Marvin to anyone interested in replacing their windows.

  • Salesman arrived 40 min. late without calling ahead. Window quality was average, but price was 28% higher than lowest bid of 8 for similar product. The company purchased Regency Windows in 2012 after RW folded and left customers hanging. Salesman could not stop or even interrupt his pitch ... despite several attempts by us to stop. We received no written quote and very little printed information on the windows. Hard sales approach lost any possibility of considering this vendor.

  • Sales pitch was way over-the-top! Asked when salesman arrived and twice more during the visit to stop the sales pitch and answer my list of questions. He was ****-bent on following his script and bad-mouthing the competition. Product was ordinary and price competitive among 8 vendors interviewed. However, if this is how the company treats potential customers, how will they service us after the sale. Because the salesman wouldn't stop talking, we had a very incomplete picture of the features of the windows.

  • They were outstanding ! He provided initial designs and estimates based on our plans. Updates were provided as the work progressed. They were very easy to work with, providing suggestions and advice and accepting our suggestions and change requests. Their craftmanship was excellent in the kitchen trim work, new fireplace mantel and surround, wainscoting trim work, crown molding, and stairway railing. They communicated very well, cleaned up daily, and were very pleasant. I would hire them again for another project and recommend them highly. We have received numerous compliments from friends and family on their work and the changes to our home. We had a few surprises as walls and floors were opened, but he provided realistic options on how to address the issues.

  • I'll be honest; my intention was to get a quote and move on to getting quotes from others to find the cheapest price. I ended up signing paperwork to replace over 30 windows and 3 sliding doors. Universal Windows Direct was the fourth company to come out and give us a price. Out of four companies, Jake (our sales guy) had the most impressive presentation and was the most prepared. Our windows are not old, but are contractor grade, meaning cheap. We are having major condensation issues and several windows are foggy. Out of four companies, Jake was the only one to explain why we are having the problem and why these new windows will not make the problem repeat itself. The product is almost identical to one of the top (and most expensive) window companies out there. The price on the other had was very hard to walk away from. Jake was courteous, respectful and very polite.

  • Jeff is a true professional who also fits right into your home. It was never awkward to have either he or his sons here. His pricing was very reasonable and all of his work is excellent. He quickly fixed anything that I felt needed attention, (and I will say that I am a bit of a perfectionist! 😉), but I never had any difficulties working with Jeff. The best part about him is that he will rise to any challenge. One day I told him how terrible my existing pantry shelves were, and he came up with a plan to replace them with a better material. There were many of those little ideas that he suggested along the way. We spent quite a few months together working on my projects, and I am just about to call him again!

  • I can't say enough good things about Mike. He responded very quickly to my initial request. He was very friendly, understanding, responsive, timely, and professional. He worked with my Dad to come up with a creative and well thought out solution that my Dad has been raving about ever since. Everyone that sees it has the same comment, it's perfect! Mike, thank you. Greatly appreciated! We all feel so relieved to have those stairs protected now!
