I tried several other local roofing companies but either they did not show up for an estimate or after giving me an estimate they did not show up to do the work. With the Fall Season coming on, I needed someone to help me out before the Winter came. I checked Angie's list and called "Home Exteriors - The Window, Siding and Roofing Experts." One of their Sales Representatives, Gary, came to my house, wrote up a detailed Installment Contract with final price and he assured me his Roofing and Gutter Crews would be out to take care of my roof. I must admit, I had some doubts about them showing up, due the poor experiences I had with prior contractors. I received a call several weeks later letting me know that the Roofing Crew would start work on the coming Monday. I took some time off during lunch on that Monday to drive by my house to see how the work was going. I did not stop to speak with anyone, I just wanted to see how they were progressing. When I got to my house, I was amazed at the number of guys that were working and how efficient and organized they were. True professionals that really worked well together. I went back to work and when I came home later in the evening, the equipment and supplies they needed to finish the job were neatly organized and the entire yard was cleaned up. When I came home on Tuesday, their work was done. The roof and flashing looked perfect and my entire property was cleaned up, no debris anywhere. The technicians that installed the gutters came several days later. They took off the old gutters and installed seamless gutters in a couple of hours. The work was done quickly, everything looks even, no leaks, perfect!!! I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a replacement roof. We compared 5 contractors before selecting Home Exteriors. We believe price and quality workmanship would have been comparable but what differentiated Home Exteriors was the value of the materials used, better for the same price as other contractors. The professionalism of each of his crews was fantastic and they all did a careful cleanup after each phase of the job. The quality of workmanship exceed my expectations because they caught things that I wasn’t looking for, and I’m rather picky. After the job was done, there were a few minor things missed and Gary sent someone promptly to take care of them. We made a great decision to select Home Exteriors and we highly recommend them to anyone interested in siding, roofing, gutters, and downspouts.- Juliano R.

I did have to have them come out one more time to finish the soffit on the corners, but they came quickly and finished up while I was at work. The new roof looks great!- Kevin R.

AHome Exteriors Roofing, Siding and WindowsHE replaced my roof, skylight and gutters in the fall of 2019. I've now weathered winter and spring with absolutely no problems. They were professional and worked with me on adding a solar tunnel in the bathroom and a vent cap so I could have a range hood vented thru the roof. The crew of 4-5 people got the job done within a week, even with a rain delay! I got 3 estimates for the job and sought the input of my insurance agent. HE's written estimate was comprehensive in the work to be done, and the cost. The other two lumped everything together; one told me he would do the job, no written specifics, for whatever the insurance company would pay. I gladly recommend the services of Home Exteriors. AI had shingles that needed replaced from the last storm. I sent requests to 5 companies for a quote on repair. Gridiron Guys was the only company that responded to a repair and they responded within 24 hrs. The guys came out today and gave me a very reasonable quote. Once I agreed to the quote, they were able to get the job done. I had shingles that I could put up. The guys were professional and answered my questions. They completed the job in a very timely manner. They will be the first company and probably the only company I go to when I am ready to replace my complete roof.

AChris was here to give a free estimate on the work that needed to be done. He took pictures of the needed repairs and temporarily caulked the leak until they could come back to do the full repair. He didn't need to do that but he did due to his great work ethic. The crew returned in 3 days and completed the entire repair of the rotten wood around the sky light and properly reshingled sealing the sky light. The crew was fast, kind, professional. I would recommend them again in a heartbeat. Chris was honest and upfront about everything and very knowledgeable.

AGreat job! From the initial consult for the job till the roofing guys pulled out of the driveway I give an A+. I was able to watch the process throughout the day and I cant say enough about the quality of the work. We have pets that we take outside. There was such care taken to the clean-up of the yard. They went around the yard and house several times with a magnetic device to make sure they removed all of the nails and debris from the property. Top notch company !

FDuring the initial meeting when we received our estimate and up until the day we signed our contract, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Mike and his company. He had lots of information to pass along, plenty of "5 stars" and "A Ratings" with documentation to prove it. Lots of wonderful talk and paperwork showing how important his clients were to the success of his company. Once we signed our contract everything began to go downhill. It took more than 3 months to get the new roof put on (was told no more than 4 weeks, weather did play some of a roll in this so we didn't hold a grudge over it). However, they came and installed an entire new roof and tear down in one day while my wife and I were at work, no notification they were coming or working at the house that day. No chance for us to see what it looked like below the shingles, no chance to meet his subcontractors, no chance to take the dogs somewhere for the day. The very first rain came just a few days later, we had 2 new leaks. Mike wouldn't return our phone calls and it took another 8 weeks for them to come out and fix the damage (on the outside, we were responsible for all the new damage inside the home). Another 5 months went by, playing phone tag and exchanging text messages with Mike. We were continually told we were next on the docket for gutters. Finally we cut our losses and hired another company to do it instead. No apology, no coverage for new damages, and overall a terrible experience that I would not hope for any homeowner. In the year and half since, we have had to do more repairs on our "new" roof, and rather than use our warranty we have paid to have someone else come and work on our home. Our money deserved to have gone elsewhere.

F1). The metal roof was originally supposed to be given a protective coat, but they decided to cover it with a with a permanent roofing product. 2). Then they determined that they couldn't apply to metal roof. So they tore off the metal roof without asking or even telling us until it was a done deal and we got there as the aluminum was being hauled away. 3). Living room ceiling damaged, needs replaced. 4) "Repaired" roof. Failed at first rain. 5). Began tearing out ceiling, covered with plastic and left it to continue to dry out. 6). Owner wants to push it off on his "subcontractor," so that person has to handle it by himself. 7). My brother who lives there is handicapped, and slipped and fell on water from the rain AFTER the leak was fixed. 8). I am beyond upset and relayed that to the owner. He eventually hung up on me.
