  The project was estimated to take about 8 weeks to complete and ended up taking about 6 weeks. Everything went smoothly and the 6 weeks went by very quickly. There were a lot of workers in and out during the project and everyone was very professional and hard working. If we had any questions during the process, they were answered very quickly and Chad made sure we were satisfied with how things were going. Chad also helped guide and direct us in the decision making process, which was very helpful. We are so excited to start using this new space Stone's Construction created for us!

  I usually don���t like to waste my time writing reviews, but I���m compelled to write one because my experience with this contractor was an absolute nightmare. The problem is, they make their prospective clients sign a contract that allows the contractor to breach it with no liability if they determine that they ���accidentally��� misquoted the job to be performed. This is troubling given that their standard practice essentially allows them to sign as many contracts as they can and selectively choose which contracts to perform and breach the remaining contracts they can���t perform or don���t want to perform without incurring any liability. Please read their contract carefully. So here���s my story: I signed a contract with their salesman in November to work on my basement finishing. The salesman ambitiously promised that it would be finished before Christmas. However, I had to call them and send several messages in the middle of December because no one was coming by my house to start the job. After several weeks of no response, I finally got a hold of the vice president, Steve, who visited us to take a look at our basement. His initial excuse was that it was too cold to start work and proposed to start work in February. Nevertheless, I remained patient until early February, but again, no one came by my house to perform the job. I had to contact the contractor several times again until someone I finally got someone to visit us. This time, the contractor demanded an additional $1,530 for their allegedly misquoted estimate which I reluctantly accepted and also asked for another $6,000 for flooring which I declined. I told them, I would do flooring on my own. Despite, paying the contractor for the allegedly misquoted estimate, no one came by my house to perform the job. I contacted them several times again, and in early March, they finally informed me that there are still several discrepancies, so they recommended me to find another contractor. I wasted more than three months with this contractor. Don���t make the same mistake I did. Find someone else.

  We had an excellent experience with The Basement Guys.  Not only did they give us a very reasonable quote but they showed up on time for our appointment!  I know from experience that the work they do is absolutely top notch!  Most importantly, they are honest and dependable. We are very pleased with the results!

  I can't say enough about Eric and his crew. The guys were all very friendly and professional and did quality work. They cleaned up after themselves like no other workers we've ever had in our house. The job was almost done before Christmas, and they were going to come back to finish the following Monday. We wanted to take advantage of the weekend after Christmas to paint. I asked Eric if they could get it done, and he and his guys worked a long day to finish the job. We really appreciated that they were willing to do that for us. Eric came back later to caulk the baseboard and fill nail holes in the trim. While here he saw some relatively minor flaws in the drywall finish and smoothed them out. I would definitely hire him again.

  We are very happy with the stairs Matt built us to replace the old stairs going into our basement. I'm finishing a room in the basement and building stairs is beyond my novice carpentry skills. He was very friendly and professional and communicated with me to make sure that the job was done the way I wanted. The steps turned out great and I feel the price was fair. He even gave me helpful suggestions for the framing I'm working on. I will definitely call Matt the next time I need skilled carpentry work in our house.

  EZ Construction was a joy to have in our home!  we have great respect for their expertise, craftsmanship, and most importantly the Quality of an Excellent job!  From the beginning, we were most impressed by the honesty and resolve not to try to add any additional hidden costs to the job.  Any additional cost was of our own initiative.  We were pleased that they were prompt, polite, and completed the job ahead of schedule.  They kept us constantly informed about each leg of the job.  They were very accepting of the few changes we made.  Their goal was to satisfy us and to provide a quality job, which they did!   EZ Construction was very professional, proficient and cleaned up after themselves. We will recommend them to our friends!

  These guys were pros from the start.  My basement is by far the best part of our house now and before USA Basement Finishing started, we were ashamed to have anyone see it.  Their craftmanship was top notch.  They encouraged feedback every step of the process.  Very good communication throughout.  The final cost of the job was what they quoted despite a few "upgrades" made during the course of the job.  The guys were very curteous.  I highly recommend USA Basement Finishing.  You can trust these guys to give you  what you pay for...and more!

  Mike Cantrell came out on New Years day for the estimate. He was knowledge of the project as he had done several basements in our neighborhood. He got the estimate back to me the same day via email. Mike's employees were friendly and courteous. They are allowed to set there own hours and may come and go as necessary. They did not start very early but they normally worked late. The only hiccup for my project was the carpet selection. The carpet mill kept putting off manufacturing. Ended up switching to an in stock option. This disrupted the project flow and delayed the completion. Once the new carpet was selected, the installers came on a Saturday to complete the install. I would be sure you know what you want in terms of project details to insure the estimate is accurate. I had minimal changes and the estimate very close to actual. Carpet upgrade was the main reason for my increase. This was a project I had completed before, so I know what to expect. Their attention to detail was not as good as mine but was definitely acceptable and they addressed my punch list items. Definitely the best price of the 9 contractors I contacted.
