AHome Exteriors Roofing, Siding and WindowsAfter yesterday's high winds, I found several shingles on my lawn this morning and saw that they were from one area along the peak of my roof. I checked Angie's List and found Home Exteriors. I called Home Exteriors in the early afternoon and spoke with Dave. I explained that I would like to get these shingles replaced as soon as possible to prevent rain water from entering the roof and doing any damage. Dave said that he would have a serviceman stop by later this same afternoon or first thing tomorrow morning. In about a half hour, a serviceman (Steve Carl) rang my doorbell. He said that he was stopping by to look at what needed to be done and that the work was scheduled to be done next Monday morning. When he saw the vulnerable location of the missing shingles, he said he would put back the shingles today in case it rained over the weekend. He was well prepared with a ladder and tools. He immediately went up and re-installed the shingles. He also tarred them to prevent any further problems. I told him I believed the gutters were clogged. He then said they would come back to clean the gutters on Monday, but he would inspect the gutters to see how bad they were. Once he got up there to inspect, he found there were some locations clogged with pine needles and began to clean them out. He even removed an elbow at a downspout to observe if the downspout was clogged! He also caulked a leaking joint. He completed all the work today on a very cold and windy day! I believe that this prompt and tremendous service may have saved us costly repairs to our home if it had rained or snowed before the repairs were done!- JAMES Z.

They contract out for gutter repair and I was growing weary of not getting them out to repair and then them coming on day I expressly told them They couldn't when I was having garage sale. The owner of Home Exterior called after one of my calls and apologized for the delay and told me how another company does the gutter work and he would get on it. Shortly after that someone came and replaced the gutter. When cleaning your gutters in October I discovered sitting water in the replaced gutter so knew it wasn't pitched properly. I called Home Exteriors and within a week it was fixed. Thanks Home Exterior and especially Dave who I communicated most often.- Pam Z.

ARick the owner cleaned my windows inside. I left for work and came home to sparkling windows. I did have one concern with two small high windows. I called Rick and he immediately apologized for my having to call him. He then came back to see what I was seeing, which turned out to be a problem with old window film, not the cleaning. However, Rick was very professional in handling the situation, which is less common these days. I will DEFINITELY use them again!
