    Champion Wash LLC
They did such a great job on the power washing, I hired them for interior painting. We were getting a house ready for sale and on a tight timeline. Champion Wash LLC accommodated our schedule. They were very professional, friendly, customer-service oriented, and responsive. They did an excellent job! Would definitely hire again.

I contacted Eric Laughery based on a recommendation from the Sherwin Williams store on main street in Springfield. He was punctual to give me an estimate but was not very responsive on follow up. He would routinely text me the day before and want to start the job the next day. He would seem annoyed when I told him that we had conflicts. I texted the owner to see when he would be able to start my job. It took him two weeks to contact me back. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I asked him for copies of his liability and worker's comp insurance certificates. He told me that he carried two million dollars of insurance that covers damage and injured workers. Ohio is a monopolistic state, the only way to buy insurance to cover injured workers is through the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. He proceeds to harass me via text message. He cursed me, called me fat, told me that none of his guys wanted to work in my house because it stinks, and threatened me stating that he was in the special forces and fat guys like me didn't scare him. I had to block his number because he kept texting me after telling me to lose his number and not to contact him. I would not hire this guy, he is working without the proper insurance and treats his potential customers like dirt.

They are awesome. With price, I have not had any other experience. We had a little problem with the punctuality but they had communication and gave me a little discount. I have already recommended them to a family member.

Workers showed up on time and began to prep for painting. Finished later in the day with 2 coats of paint and garage looking brand new! Was very pleased with the workmanship and professionalism of the 3 workers. Would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to family and friends.

All went well and went as planned.  They arrived as scheduled, and quickly covered the furniture and put down drop clothes.  While one man began painting the ceilings in both rooms, the other one sanded and did any patching on the walls. Then they began trimming and rolling the walls.  As Keith thought, the family room did actually take three coats to cover the "green" paint discovered under the wall paper, so they did have to come back the next day just to finish the walls in the living room.   Bill and the guys were really good; we were impressed not only with their work, but with them and their knowledge as well - especially Bill. No question, we will be using KS Paintings and their folks again some day!

I met with the manager Bill D. for an estimate for work repairing drywall, painting two rooms, painting window frames, and painting ceilings. The company that repaired our drywall before we moved in did a terrible job and it was very evident.  Bill showed me what repair they could do and what would still be visible.  It was as we walked room to room that I asked if he could tell me the price difference in purchasing our own paint.  Bill assured me that contractors get better quality and less expensive paints than are normally available from Sherman Williams.  I asked if just doing one room was less expensive.  Bill said that actually it was a minimum of $650 just to get a truck to come to your house. Bill wrote up an estimate for $850 for two rooms.   Since my wife and I  felt we were saving.  We agreed to the two rooms.  Bill was able to get his guys to start the following Monday and it was currently Friday.
Monday two painters showed up who were very courteous and right on time.  The first day was drywall repair.  The rooms had joint compound on numerous places but not the complete wall.  Unfortunately the wall wasn't drying fast enough so after half a days work they left and said they would be back the next once the compound had dried.  The next morning they were again on time and started work immediately.  Their paint skills were excellent.  After a few hours they were done and cleaned up very well.
After a day my wife realized that she did not like the color in the one room.  I contacted Bill and asked for estimate just to paint one room.  Bill informed me that is was $650 just to get the truck to a house but he would see what he could do.  A couple hours later I received an estimate for $415.  I declined the estimate.  It was also at this point that I told Bill there were small white bubbles on our ceiling at one end.  He told me to give it a few days and they should go away.
Things from this point went downhill.  There were many more imperfections in the walls that were not repaired.  After checking with other contractors the walls needed to be completely covered and not just patched.  I also personally went to Sherman Williams to check on the paint US Pro Painters use called Sherscrub.  This is when I got upset.  I was told by the staff at Sherman Williams that Sherscrub was the BOTTOM of the contractors line of paint.
My advice to future customers would be - Buy your own paint, check around for price ($415 just to get 1 room painted!), and get advice from multiple sources to see if drywall can be repaired or needs to be completely redone.

3/16/16 - I just spoke with Bill.  He is sending a painter over to correct the bubbles on the ceiling.  I will say that it looks like Bill and I had a misunderstanding on what was to be done with the drywall.  He gave me a price which he thought was in my budget, but never gave me the option on the price to have the walls fixed the way we wanted them.

Also Bill said that the Sherscrub was not at the bottom of the contractors paint list.  I am confused by this but I can only state what I was told on 3/15/16.  I am upgrading the  Responsiveness to a "C" since he did contact me and will at least fix the bubble problem.

3/17/16 - Bill and I had our final conversation.  We ended with no hard feelings, but we agreed due to poor communication I was not aware of what I was receiving for the price.  I currently still have two rooms that have poor repairs but excellent paint jobs.

I would end with the following.  1.  Make sure you understand what you are getting for the price.  2. If your sole purpose is painting then this is the company you want. and 3. Research paint...what they use may be a solid paint but it is not the near the best and you might be interested in purchasing your own.  According to the manager at Sherman Williams on East Main in Springfield, their best (Emerald) is a 10 and Sherscrub is a 3.  So be aware.

Due to heavy rains which lasted all thru spring and into mid- summer our job was delayed some months, but I actually preferred the fall painting job due to less humidity, much dryer conditions; more predictable weather,  and slightly lower temperatures than during mid-summer.  I believe that painters are able physically to do a better paint  job, under less stress when the conditions are more tolerable.
Dave ? (the painter) worked the first day scraping and prepping the south side of my 2 story home; then applied a primer coat and a finish coat of white paint to 3 upper story exterior window frames.  He had to work the entire day off a long aluminum extension ladder and worked with enthusiasm and gusto.  He show regard for safety and tirelessly completed the first day with only one short 20 minute break for lunch.
The 2nd day Dave started early again (around 7:30 am), and applied 2 coats of white paint to the upper wood trim on my home; then applied 2 coats of yellow paint to the hardboard siding on the south side.  Again he worked hard consistently all day and took only a short break for lunch.  He completed everything I asked him to do, and showed excellent professionalism in his work and very good customer relation skills.

Well we were scheduled for a date for which I took the day off work. By 8:20am I started to get nervous so I called and spoke to Sharon. Long story short, they didn't have me down on the books but our email exchanges through Angies List confirmed my appointment. Sharon was VERY apologetic and rescheduled me for the same week with a discount off the cost. On the second date the guys showed up on time and ready to go. The three man team was very professional and courteous. They got straight to work and got the job done in a little over 5 hours. It is a very big room and there was a lot of prep work to be done first. They did an amazing job and I love how it turned out. The crew was very friendly but professional. There was no profanity or vulgarity in their conversations with each other, which I appreciated very much. Lastly, they cleaned up everything and put back the furniture which I also appreciated. All I had to do was vacuum and enjoy my living room. I already have estimates from them for the rest of the house which is good for six months. The kitchen is also vaulted so I will probably be using them again soon. I highly recommend this company for your painting needs.

They arrived on time, were efficient and personable, did great work and even patched a couple extra drywall holes we had that were neither small nor easy to repair (for me at least!) and didn't charge any extra. Really willing to go the second mile. I will call them again!

It went extremely well.  The two gentlemen that did the work showed up early and worked hard each of the four days.  Each night they cleaned up so that we had easy access to the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom.  The job turned out better than we could have hoped for.
We will consider US Pro Painters for any future work we may have/need.
