    Chris Gray and his crew enlarged the shower, tiled the walls and floor of the shower, installed new faucets and drain, hung a barn door style shower door, tilled the floor in a herring bone pattern with a border. New sink and removed the pop corn style ceiling.  Also, installed new lighting and wainscotting.  The wainscotting was constructed in a way that one cannot even see the seams where sections adjoin.  They leveled the floor prior to laying the tile, to the point of making sure that the border tile, which was thicker than the herring bone tile, was completely level.
    Chris and his crew were not just installers, they are craftsmen in the true sense of the word.  Artists!

    It went very well especially considering that it was a complicated project. ��We met with their salesman at our house. ��He was very knowledgeable and professional. ��He surveyed the sun room and talked with us as to our wishes for the room. ��Once we decided on what we wanted he priced up the project and presented us with a contact with advertised discounts. ��We signed the contract. ��The price was about 10% higher than my previously shopped prices, but I wanted the Anderson product so that was not a surprise. ��In fact, the salesman stated that his price would be high at the beginning of his presentation. ��Next we were visited by an engineer who reviewed the salesman's bill of materials. ��The engineer re-measured each window and looked at the installation in great detail. ��He took copious notes while explaining to what was going to be involved with the removal and installation of each window and door. ��He also broke the news to us that our local code requires that all the windows be tempered glass something the sales person didn't know. ��This added about $2,500.00 to the project. ��He estimated the length of project to be 3-4 days. ��We scheduled our installation date which was two months away (our choice). ��On the installation day the pair of installers showed up right on time. ��They introduced themselves and explained what they planed to accomplish that day and got right to work. ��They definitely knew their stuff. ��This was a very challenging and difficult installation yet they solved every problem they faced professionally. ��They worked long and hard. ��The panel truck they had was a shop on wheels with everything they needed. ��I only had to provide an outlet for their power. ��Their installation plan had to be revised due to the late arrival of ��one of the Patio Sliding Doors. ��Once again, they worked around it with out any issues. ��These two guys were the best contractors I've ever worked with. ��They kept me informed every step of the way and willing explained what they were doing. Always patiently answering any questions that I or my wife had. They finished the project completely in 3 days. ��When finished the sun room looked beautiful! ��We now have a room with large expansive views, access to two decks, lot of fresh air ventilation, when desired and we are saving energy. ��We are happy with the Anderson product even though both doors had defective latches which were replaced immediately at no charge. ��The real stars on this project were the installers. ��They were the best I ever seen, definitely 5-Star in every regard! ��Based on this I would recommend this firm to others.

    How did it go? Not good. I had to order the part from an auto parts store and then make an appointment. The last time I used this business for a power window replacement the job went smooth. I was able to schedule for a Saturday and the job was completed. However, this last time I tried to schedule for a Saturday and was denied that option because they do not do those types of jobs anymore. When I dropped my car off 15 minutes early they started work right away. Then I got a call that the window motor was not compatible with the new regulator. I asked what my options were to see if they could get the correct parts and they immediately said "No, we don't do parts anymore, you have to get the correct parts." So, I walked approximately 1 mile to the closest auto parts store and they did not have the part I needed in stock. I had to walk back to Gates Brothers and by this point I was very frustrated. I was irked at this whole ordeal. I was trying to tell the technician as we were walking to my car that, because of my job earlier in the day which I had to take off for, that I had walked over 6 miles during that day by walking to the parts store and back. Instead of showing any sympathy or compassion he decided to scream at me by saying "HOW IS THAT MY FAULT? HOW IS THAT MY FAULT?" The fact of the matter is that I experienced no sympathy, no compassion, and no apologies for my situation. As I had mentioned earlier the person in the front office was very quick to just cut me off and say "we don't do that anymore." There was no "I'm sorry sir but we do not do that work on Saturdays any longer and unfortunately we do not get parts anymore either." Needless to say I have burned my bridges with this business.

    This business could use some help in the etiquette of customer service. As mentioned before they displayed to me no sympathy or compassion for customers.

    Mr. Ober returned my call promptly. He made an appointment with me to come out and look at what I needed to have done to my house. He was very professional and efficient. He told me what he could do and when he could do it and supplied me with a quote. We made another appointment for him to come back out and do the work. He did everything that he promised to do and he did a fantastic job. I am very pleased.

    Verified type and size of door on day of first call and quoted.  Next morning installed door in less than two hours. They replaced all of the hardware, rails springs and door panels.  door is rated R12 insulated with new weatherstrips.

    We were leaving for vacation the following day and the spring on our garage door opener broke that morning.  I called Oakes Door Service, who had worked on our doors previously, and asked if they could repair the door since I couldn't open it.  They said they were all booked up  for days but because we were leaving on vacation, they said they could squeeze us in late that afternoon.  The repairman came as promised and replaced the spring on the door.

    All-Seal gave me an estimate. At first, he said it would be $3,600.00, but if I committed to it right then, it would be $2,900.00. He didn't even give me a written, detailed estimate. He just gave me a total price. I didn't chose to go with them because he seemed shady.

    They did an excellent job. They were very polite and we were very pleased. They cleaned up after themselves. We had redwood trim on the house and they covered all the redwood with aluminum and did an excellent job with that as well. I'd would recommend them to anybody.

    They were very professional. Answered all questions and made the process easy for us. Although the price may be a little high I think it is worth the service you get. The installers did an ok job cleaning up.We had a couple of minor issues that were taken care of quickly. One issue was I did not care for the window I ordered that was frosted. There was nothing wrong with the window I just wanted a clear window. They replaced it for me at no charge. I will call and recommend this company in the furture.
