    Dusty Boot Home Improvement
I got $5 off. He used the 12 hours and charged me $120 for parts, which I paid. He showed me a picture of one spot that he fixed. Now, I got four pictures of damage. He fixed one spot and then he told the renter that there was an animal in the rafters and it came out and scared him so bad that he had to get off the ladder and go home. He called me two or three times after that and kept asking me questions. I said, "I don't know that you gave me 12 hours of work. For one thing, the woman who lives there had people go in to the house to see the animal, while she was at work, and they never saw it there. Second of all, I know you had to go after equipment. But, if you left to go get equipment and three hours later, you're not back, that sounds like an extra long time to go get some boards." But, then, he called me back to tell me that he thinks whatever he repaired, the animal busted through again. Now, I don't know how he would know that if he ran off the minute he saw the animal. He did sound like he had been drinking when I talked to him. He never made a whole lot of sense. A couple of times, I've tried to get me to let him go back out there. I said, "I'd be more satisfied with you, if you would go out there and take me some more pictures of what you've done for 12 hours." He goes, "Oh, I'm not going back out there. Besides that, it's too far for me. I'm a one man show. I can't put up gutters because they're too long." I said, "Okay. You can prop them on a ladder at one end and go to the other end and start applying them." I didn't argue with him. I just said there are ways you could figure this out. So, the gutters was something he was supposed to do. He wouldn't even adhere with that. There were a lot of things I could have given him to do. But he said it was too far for him to go. It's not that far. He never gave us concrete times when he was coming. He would sometimes show up and sometimes not. I don't think our communications were very good.

    All Decked Out 513 LLC
This project was a positive experience from the very begininig.  We had a space behind out brand new house that had a second floor exit and a ground level exit.  We knew we probably wanted a patio and deck but had no idea on how to tie it all together and make it a functional space as well.  Joe came out, looked at the area and came up with a plan that was nothing like what we originally had in mind.  Needless to say the plan was superb and after reviewing plans from 4 other contractors we hired Joe to do the work.  His company provided all the drawings and documents we needed to get HOA approval.  he also took care of getting the necessary city permits and inspections as the work progressed.  The deck and the patio crew were very meticilious and the workmanship was excellent.  They would check with us periodiacally to make sure what they were building was what we envisioned and were willing to make adjustments all alond the way.  We decided to add a paved space under the deck.  Joe came up with a drawing and tied the addional space into the original design so it all flowed together and did not look like an add-on.  Need less to say the finished product is excellent and we plan to get many years of use from it.  I highly recommend this contractor for any hardscape project.

    Building Character LLC
If you are wanting to build a deck, Jared Riddell and
Building Character is the way to go. His crew is very efficient, and they
provide quality work. I originally planned to construct the deck myself, so I
put in a lot of research on how I wanted to build it. I even drafted my own
design which I never told Jared about. The first time he came out to my house
to look at the build site and to go over what I was planning, he made a
suggestion on how I should place the stairs that made a huge improvement in the
design. He even used the same size or larger beams and posts than I planned
for, and I was already going above what is normally required. In the end, he
constructed a beautiful deck that is solid, and will last a very long time. If
you want a quality deck, you need to contact Jared.

    Walker Quality Construction
The 1st technician came out did not do a very good job. He ended up putting our glass door back in our shower uneven so the door would not close. They sent out another guy and he could not figure it out. It then took over a week to get someone else back out to fix it. He did a good job and fixed the other guys mess. It would have been a much better experience if the 3rd guy had come out originally.

    Aurhause Renovation & Construction
We cannot say enough good things about Jeremy, Beau and their Aurhause crew! They ordered, finished and installed six new Marvin Ultimate windows, including 2 large bay windows, for us and just did a superb job - from beginning to end. As I was thinking about all of the things that made them so wonderful to work with, I came up with: They were here when they said they would be, cleaned up every day before they left, made their schedule works with ours, were always polite and respectful, charged exactly what they quoted, went above and beyond doing the outside finish work of the bay units, took their time and gave every detail the attention that it deserved, had great ideas and input about things we weren't sure about, and the finished job was just fabulous. We couldn't be happier with our new windows!

But I think the most important attribute, hands down, that Aurhause brings to the table that others don't is TRUST. We learned that we can totally trust them to do the job right and do it for the price they quoted. We know we can trust them to be extremely fair with the cost of something we'd like to change or add. We know that if there is anything we are unhappy with, no matter how small a detail it is, they will change it and work on it until we are happy. We know we can trust them in our home. We know that if anything unforeseen comes up, they will handle it and do whatever is necessary. We know they can and will stand behind their work -- because it's done right!

Perhaps the most important questions are always "Would you use them again and recommend them to others?" Yes and yes! We already have them scheduled to do a kitchen backsplash for us and will definitely be using them for other projects we have planned as well.

    Shepherd's Construction Services
Shepard's responded quickly to my calls, provided a fair estimate while working with my requirements. They professionally explained what to expect from the activities associated with my project and the approximate length of time to complete it. Dean respectfully attended to the changes I requested, as well he awaited approval for changes he needed to make. Dean and company were also as careful as possible when bringing in or utilizing heavy equipment so as to minimize the impact on our landscape... All work was done in a timely, professional manner, and within my expectations. I have been happy with the work they did and continue to receive compliments about it. I would recommend Dean and Team to anyone looking for a great value !!! ... As well, I expect to use them on my next big project !!!

Home Repair Services of Ohio LLC
Mike from HRS is a crook. He swindled me out of thousands when I hred him to finish or basement. When he came for the estimate he made it sound like he does jobs like this all the time, and when he gave me the quote, I signed up right away. Basically he low balled me and used my deposit to hurry up and pay prior subs. When he finally started, he hired a sub from out of town who did not know how to frame and then he went on to hire 3 other carpenters to finish the job. But... since he was now underwater on the job, he got it to the point of Drywall and I was stupid enough to pay the draw after Drywall was complete. He never came back becasue he knew he could not finish the job for the reamining money. I paid 3/4 of the job and only got 1/2 the job done.
