ARegency Design + BuildI found Regency Design and Build on Angie's list and based on my discussions with Norm and the detailed quality of the proposal he gave me, I decided to hire them for the major upgrades at my home in Solon. I live out of state, so it was important to hire a company that knew what they were doing, is ethical, honest, and loved my home as much as I did. The crew including Eli, Nicole, Mo, Charlie, and Lisa were incredibly generous with their time and TLC. Norm did a number of video calls with me to show me the status of my work and Eli took lots of pictures and loaded them to their Buildertrend website so I could view them. Nicole was phenomenal with the calendar, scheduling, follow-ups, and keeping me apprised of the job completion status and the team overall ESPECIALLY NORM went above and beyond to address my concerns and needs. Norm was also fair and honest in the pricing of change orders or unforeseen items. He took full responsibility for the performance and quality of the job his team did, addressing gaps immediately without complaining. My project was over $100k and Norm and team delivered an excellent quality job for my investment. I very rarely do reviews of companies and typically only do them when I am really unhappy with the quality of a company's job. This was different. I felt compelled to share my truth about Norm and Regency Design and Build's quality and professionalism. I will likely use them again for a future project.- Abbey O.

AUniversal Painting and Window CleaningThe Universal Painting team is topnotch, hands down the best painters we have ever hired. We had questions and were a bit indecisive when we were trying to pick our colors. Jay (owner) walked us thru several different color schemes & combinations and really helped us get to our final decision. We could not have been happier with his expertise and guidance, it really took a lot of stress out of the process. The Universal Painting crew really paid attention to all the little details when prepping the walls and baseboards. They repaired all the holes, gashes, knicks and screw pops on the walls which made all the difference. The final results are amazing! My walls literally look brand new! AA&W Drywall & Plaster RepairExcellent quality work at a reasonable cost. Leo was here on time and worked until the work was done. We are remodeling our house and kitchen which required wall tile and counter removal as well as some electrical outlets being moved. Leo prepped the kitchen for new tile and fixed all the holes, dings and wall imperfections on our first floor for painting. Cleaned up the mess as if he was never here...great job at a reasonable price.- John B.

FWe recommend you find someone else. They're either so busy they can't take on new work right now or just unresponsive. We had high hopes based on the many good reviews, but my husband called and left 2 voice mail messages over the past few days requesting someone to call and schedule a time to give us an estimate and they haven't returned his call. They have a generic voice mail greeting that doesn't even confirm you've reached the company. If they cared enough to record a proper greeting, they could include a message saying that they're overbooked (or whatever) and it will take several days for someone to return the call. Very disappointing.

AOne task that I hired Bill for was to remove wallpaper and paint a bathroom and the other was to patch a living room ceiling. On both jobs Bill did good work, Bill was pleasant and knowledgeable. He gave good estimates and patiently answered my questions. He gave me target dates and times and kept them. He kept me informed. He put down drop cloths on the access floors. The work was high quality. He left the work areas clean. I was very pleased with the quality of his work and his service.
