    PDR Comfort Systems
I called the company 3 times on 10/30/19 (starting early morning) and left a message twice. In the evening, I even sent an email detailing my issues and if they could please call me. By 11:00 a.m., I finally called another company who came out right away. PDR is VERY unprofessional! They should have called or emailed to say that they were busy. Their "great" reviews all over the Internet must be a hoax! I found a WONDERFUL new company and will be writing a most favorable review on them!

Justin answering the phones was a star. First tech did not give a lasting repair and it shut down on a cold night. They sent a tech from akron/canton who came at 10pm on a sunday and got it working again at no charge. A few days later someone came out and did a permanent fix which did the job but was an additional charge. They seemed very honest and the final job was tops.

It didn't go at all. The person who took the call was very polite, and said he would pass on my request to the sales folks, but I never got a call back even though I called them three times to enquire about the status of giving me an estimate. So I went with someone else.

    Comfort MD
I purchased the air cleaner through another company several years ago and was never happy with the performance of the air cleaner nor the company that installed it. I fired that company and signed an annual maintenance contract with comfortMD for my furnace, A/C and air cleaner. I had told the technician about my unhappiness with the air cleaner that never seemed to be working right after the other company had installed it. Leigh Weinberg called me based on my conversation with their tech and I asked for options to either repair or replace my air cleaner. Leigh heard my dissatisfaction and even though they had not sold me the air cleaner he indicated that he stood by the American Standard product and arranged on his own to have all of the parts replaced free of charge to me to fix the problem. Soon he assembled all of the parts and sent the tech to my house and replaced every part of the air cleaner (worth > $1,000) free of charge to me. The air cleaner is working for the first time since I purchased it! They did not have to do this and I have to admit that this is the first time in my life that a company stood by their manufacturer even when they didn't perform the initial sale or install. I have found their annual maintenance to be much more effective than the original installer (Gorjanc) and would recommend them to anyone. They have been very professional, timely, and don't try to upsell you every time they come to your house.

I told them to go ahead and put in a new thermostat, which they did. However, after they left, the new one was not working properly. They said to call with any problems, so I did. They came back out, and checked it out. They said there was nothing wrong with it. I had to call again and tell them that it still was not turning on and off like it should. They sent someone out again, and he checked it and said it was OK. They had told me that if there were any problems with the new unit, they would fix it or replace it. When the 2nd tech was leaving, he gave me a bill for over $100, and the office called to tell me that I owed them. I told them that I shouldn't have to pay this, since it's clearly a problem with their unit, and I had a warranty. I went back and forth with the owner, but he tried to insist that I owed for the most recent bill. He said that if I went on the internet and gave him a good review, he wouldn't charge me. I did that, but then he called me and said there wasn't a review there. Then I got a bill from an attorney saying I owed the money. I called the attorney and explained what had happened. He said that didn't make a difference, and that I owed the money. I paid it to avoid ruining my credit.

    Comfort MD
Our air conditioner died 6 weeks before my son's wedding. We had out of town guests coming to stay with us. We had 6 different vendors come to the house and give us an estimate of cost. Leigh of Comfort MD was who we chose. Leigh is also the owner. His pricing was right on spot. He was very knowledgeable. He was open to what brand and sizing we wanted for our house, but also told us if he felt it wasn't a good fit and why. Leigh kept in contact with us the entire time. He even gave us his cell phone number to contact him anytime! He offered to bring us temporary air units until the installation since the temperature was going to be in the 90's for the next week. Everything was installed one week before the wedding and is working fantastic. The installers were competent, respectful and quick. They cleaned up after themselves. We are now going on three months with no complaints. I would recommend Leigh and his company to anyone.

    P.K. Wadsworth Heating & Cooling
There was no cost to us because we're on their annual service contract.  We just paid a fee up front a year ago for the contract and they come out twice a year to check the system.  For their contract price, I'd say that was a fair price.  The quality of their installation and the quality of their repairs keeps us coming back.  We've been using them for 30 years.

They're always prompt and on time. They do a terrific job and listen to what your telling them needs to be done. They do it thoroughly and clean up nicely after their work. They showed up on time and on the day they said they would. They told me that they thought something wasn't properly with the thermostat. I've used them many times. I have recommended them to many friends and relatives.

Smylie One Heating Cooling & Plumbing
Apparently the company was having power issues this day, so my time ended up being 1 hour plus past the 2 hour window. But the serviceman showed and was able to diagnose the issue quickly. He had the part on hand and was able to fix the unit. He had a very pleasant personality and performed good work. He also provided some needed suggestions going forward regarding taking care of my a/c unit.

    Arco Comfort Air, LLC
Took them a week to call, to schedule a time and the message they left had no telephone number. A week later I got an email and scheduled same day. Technician arrived, was polite. Came in and looked at system. I bought the EXACT disposal so should be a straight forward swap out. Its a double sink and I ask him if he will change out the second sink basket strainer to have them both match as the one that comes with the disposal is SS. He says he would have to charge me for that extra basket. I say tell me how much and I will decide. He looks at the system and the vent is in the wrong place and he can fix that for an up charge. Looks to me like the vent is shared between the disposal and the dishwasher. The house is 20 years old and we haven't ever had a problem with the vent blocking. I say no leave the vent where it is. He starts work. He calls me over shows me the build up in the pipes and tells me he recommends that he snake all my pipes to get rid of the build up. The pipes were actually really clean for a 20 year old house. Definitely no need to snake. I declined. He quotes $395 dollars to install the second sink strainer. I decline and realize this company is all about trying to take advantage of the homeowners that aren't plumbing savvy. He finishes the install and does not install the sink basket that is attached to the new disposal. He says its not included. Per Home Depot it is...Hence I purchased a second one that matches. He says no. I insist. He goes outside to talk to his boss. Comes back and says boss says no. I request to speak to his boss (politely) he gives me a number. I ask whom shall I ask for. He says whoever you get is fine and packs up to leave. I ask if he is leaving he says yes, he doesn't have time for this. I insist that he stay until I talk to someone from his company. I dial the number he gives me and its a NON WORKING NUMBER! i dial the scheduler and explain that I am standing in my driveway, I have insisted that the technician not leave until we get resolution, and that the sink basket that came with the disposal is definitely in scope of contract with Home Depot. I tell the scheduler that I have been polite but firm as the technician wants to leave without finishing the job. She says she will talk to a manager and call me back. The technician says to me the best he can do is both sink baskets for $195. I say I just want you to do the work I paid for nothing more. 5 minutes later, he gets a call and he comes back to the house to install the included sink basket. it takes him less than 30 minutes. He packs up, says its done. I go look and there is a leak. He says no that's just wetness from his testing. I insist as I can see the dripping. He comes back and says he didn't get the pipe threads tight. He tightens it and walks stuff to his truck. Its still leaking. I bring him back. This time he gets it tight. The sink basket is crooked. This work from home mom is a mechanical engineer with LOTS of plumbing experience.
