    Lindus Construction
Overall, the work is excellent and looks great. Professionally prepared and executed. I had to follow up on a few items that needed attention as the work was phased over several weeks due to underground trenching and frozen ground, but the foreman was very responsive and quickly addressed my requests. The only comment for improvement I have is that we went under contract in late October but the work could not be fully completed until late April, due apparently to a combination of over-scheduling and winter weather. No loss of quality in the end, but Lindus could have more proactively kept me informed of the reality of their scheduling I had to chase after it.

    Window Nation Inc
Sales teams showed up in our neighborhood to sell vinyl windows. I needed new gutters. Jim Loder did a quote (one sentence description) on his cell phone telling me I got a great deal, better than his aunt and for 6" gutters, including all discounts such as for Angie's List, seniors and payment up front. I signed on his cell phone with no chance to review. Angie's List price for equivalent service in my area is half of what I paid. The work was done a month later after a few phone calls, by a subcontractor who did excellent work on the day that I called again.

Very well. Rob, the salesman came out and evaluated the situation, gave us his recommendations and a firm price. We agreed to upgrade the upper level gutter system and add leaf guards. Work was performed per schedule and in a professional manner. Definitely recommend for anyone needing gutter/downspout work done.

    Sam The Gutter Man
Mr. Fontana really impressed me. He was supposed to check out my issue last Saturday but ran into a family emergency. Despite this, he still came Saturday evening to check things out! He spent a good amount of time chatting with me, provided a suggestion at a fair cost, and also offered some thoughts about how to address some non-gutter issues I've been having. Definitely recommend!

    Richmond Roofing Inc
Ralph was clear on what work would be performed. He showed that his default was to do the job right, since he defaulted to doing a tear off first and to covering some of the wood near the edges with a material meant to deal with ice formations. His crew performed the work in two and a half days and did a pretty good job cleaning up. We did need to have our person who sealed our attic from animals come back out and redo some caulking. After the roof tear-off, some small holes into the attic were left. Since we didn't want bats again, we had to seal these up separately. These were areas under the roof that had been caulked before, but were not re-caulked after the roof was added. But to be fair, roofers and animal control companies are different and look for different things. Ralph was honest about us not needing new gutters, but he did put on gutter covers that have helped. He itemized this option so we could choose whether to do it or not. We were a little disappointed with the way that our flashing stood out after the new roof was put on, since our flashing happens to be particularly wide and bright. (This is a cosmetic issue not related to the quality of the roof.) We were going to have the flashing painted, but months later, Ralph set someone out to put a few extra slats on top to cover the flashing. Now the edges look as great as the rest of the roof. This shows a really high commitment to satisfying his customers.

    Ohio State Renovations LLC /akaohiorenovations
Ohio State Renovations and the owner Mark Farley did an excellent job with the exterior renovations on our house. From the beginning he listened to what we wanted and was willing to come up with custom solutions. When the construction began, the team of workers were always on time, courteous, and appeared to work efficiently. Throughout the entire process, Mark kept in touch with us to make sure we didnt have any concerns about how the project was proceeding. We had other companies give us estimates for the work as well, but felt Marks quote was the most competitive. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who was looking to have exterior work done. We have received lots of compliments on our house!

    The Final Coat Inc
I used the Final Coat for a full house paint and carpentry repair for a rental property. To be clear, the house was in dire need of a paint job, and had a decent amount of wood rot. This was a difficult job to a) complete and b) price out. In fact, I solicited multiple bids, and while Final Coat wasn’t the least expensive, I had great faith in their ability to get the job done well while treating me fairly. I made a great choice. Ted and his team finished on time, and the final job was done extremely well and professionally. Even better, my gut instinct that they would treat me fairly was validated. They uncovered a few items after they started the work that would require a little more budget. They communicated these to me, explained what was going on and why it was necessary. However, there was one item that slipped through the cracks, and Final Coat called me and worked through a solution we were both happy with. At the end of the day, I received a great final product, on time at a fair price. I couldn’t really ask for more than that. They are responsive, and treat their customers well. I would use them again and recommend to friends and family. I am also looking forward to the free touch-ups that are included with their service!

Home Exteriors Roofing, Siding and Windows
They came out to replace some damaged gutters and did a great job.  Salesman was very friendly and helpful.  He even suggested a couple of cheaper DIY ideas before using them.  My only complaint was that I had asked them to try to schedule me 1st thing in the morning and call before they came because I work 3rd shift and sleep during the day.  They forgot about that part, but otherwise pleased with the service!

    Zemco Roofing & Repairs Inc
Completed service purchased in offer and made recommendations addressing recurring ice dams and ventilation. Unable to detect source of a leak. I requested an additional estimate to replace a section of my roof as a result. Revised estimated was provided promptly.

K Guard Leaf Free Gutter Systems
In short, not good. The gutters themselves are great and work as expected. However, the installation experience was one of the worst for such a quick project. I would encourage others to check your drip edge after installation as I was told that our experience was "similar" to others. I posted a few pictures so you get an idea of how it looked after the install.
The installation took place in one day. I returned home from work and the gutters looked great from eye level. I jumped on a ladder to check the install and was surprised at the state of the drip edge. Each connected piece of drip edge was pulled back and heavily damaged. I assumed the company would be back the next day to fix it. Instead, we were sent the bill. When I asked about the drip edge, I was told that this happens "all the time" and does not compromise the roof or the gutters.
I had a few contractors come out for quotes and everyone strongly recommended to fix the drip edge due to potential ice dams and carpenter bees (we have a log home). Eventually, K Guard quoted a repair price. When I pushed back on paying for this on my end, they responded quickly and patched the areas with drip edge extensions on their dime. The drip edge still looks terrible but at least it will survive the winter and protect the wood. I'll look into replacing the drip edge on my own next summer.
I'm glad to hear others had better experiences and maybe this was a one off. I'd still advise folks to check their drip edge after any install. I'm also thankful that they attempted to address the problem once I argued enough.
I'm greatly disappointed as I was expecting excellent service and limited hassle from a company with such a strong reputation.
Another word of caution, I was told that they do not negotiate prices or have coupons. I ran with what they told me. Sure enough, I found a $300 coupon in last week's local mailings. Again, maybe a one time bad sale's person. However, it was a bad experience all around.
